Mike from Chester, United KingdomYour really are the expert at these split images, perfect manipulation. 9 Apr 2008 9:26pm Jennifer Radio from Statesville, United Statesall of your photos are so interesting! 9 Apr 2008 9:38pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesvery cool!! it's almost like a checkerboard of typerwriters. well taken and combined. the lighting even matches. your comments about this one are funny, L's especially. Is L actually reading Science Year 1979? 9 Apr 2008 9:45pm @danthro: (from Lilly) It was either that or 1978.... not sure which is better. Ha ha. And no, not really reading it, I just thought the book matched Ronnie's Desk so nicely. Tracey from White Hall, United StatesDo you guys talk about what you're going to do ahead of time, or are you really that lucky? Beautiful merge, as usual! 9 Apr 2008 9:52pm @Tracey: (from Lilly) Yes, we talk about it before-hand....but Ronnie does all the sewing. :) Chris from South Jersey, United StatesVery well done (as usual!). I am sure that if you ask some of the younger generation they wouldn't even know what a typewriter is!! 9 Apr 2008 10:04pm Rabbit from Richmond, United Statesok - how on earth did you BOTH find an OLD typewriter? I learned on a typewriter like the one on the right. I think my mom purchased it from an auction from a school for 2 bucks, I was in 10th grade at the time. 9 Apr 2008 10:16pm @Rabbit: (from Lilly) After our posting of the mail boxes, we were inspired to post typewriters... and yes, we both found one buried in our respective homes. I actually had two! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomYour ideas are really great, good work and really well created. 9 Apr 2008 10:20pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesVery well done with lots of commentary and humor rolled into one piece. 10 Apr 2008 3:21am Disoriented from Washington, DC, United StatesThis is my favorite shot. I learned on a typewriter like the ones L & R use and there's something very satisfying about striking the keys and watching the hammers fly into the paper. And then when you're done, you pull the page straight from the roller and it makes this zipping noise. I'm glad L & R kept them! =D 10 Apr 2008 3:59am Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, Indiaanother wonderful pair.. how much time does it take u to process ur shots n merge them? im curious :) 10 Apr 2008 4:46am Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaHow did you get them to be the same size so that you could make it look like one?
