Observing from Chester, United KingdomThat's great.... two extemes but both doing the same job. I guess you could also say; Analog versus Digital. Exceptional picture. 23 Apr 2008 10:22pm JoeB from Brampton, CanadaWe got so many codes to remember, one day everyone will go blank and we won't be able to function. 24 Apr 2008 1:01am Alun Lambert from Cheshire, United KingdomAnother clever image, i like the old and new feel to it 24 Apr 2008 4:47am Disoriented from Washington, DC, United StatesYour picture made me think about how I would like to enter my home. Insert a key and turn the lock on a wooden door or enter a key code on a solid metal gate? And then I thought about being in the rain or being in a snowstorm. Or worse! Being chased by someone! *gasps* Hurry open up the door! Drats! I dropped my key! Oh no! I really ought to control my imagination. =P 24 Apr 2008 4:51am Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaLily resting beside the fireplace and you locked out again. And all you really wanted to do was get inside. Another great comparison shot Ronnie. 24 Apr 2008 5:19am pLusOne from Cheonan, South KoreaOld and New.... cool Concept! 24 Apr 2008 5:44am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaWhat a clever contrast between traditional and modern you have here, and as usual, a story to go with it! 24 Apr 2008 1:01pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesI like this but it disturbs me... as a one time EE I'm completely distrustful of electronic devices. (Mechanical ones might be clunkers but when they start dying they usually give notice.) 24 Apr 2008 2:54pm Harald from Frankfurt am Main, GermanyA perfect contrast between old and new. You made the picture telling a story. Exzellent! 24 Apr 2008 4:19pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesI have to agree with akarui ... warm and cold ... first thing that came to mind 24 Apr 2008 6:32pm Rabbit from Richmond, United Statesha - number codes - i have to remember the pattern not the numbers. 24 Apr 2008 6:43pm Ina from Krugersdorp, South AfricaWell done! The back door is photo 1 and the front door is photo 2 for me! 24 Apr 2008 6:46pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesnice captures. i have to say Lilly's door looks much more welcoming, Ronnie. 24 Apr 2008 11:37pm lissa from New York, United StatesRonnie, you're hysterical! I love visiting this site! 25 Apr 2008 2:34am Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, IndiaI agree with Danthro.. Ronnie, your door reminds me of these high-security places we see in sci-fi movies.. Maybe you could have one of those biometrics thingies installed too, it would atleast save you the trouble of remembering number codes ;) 25 Apr 2008 3:27am CRFoto from Salt Lake City, United StatesGreat job. I think everything else has been said. 25 Apr 2008 6:07am Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanYou made me laugh with this one, so many gadgets and stuff to get more complicated, so cool, keep the great job, it's always a pleasure to visit! 25 Apr 2008 1:58pm alex centrella from California, United States............. and the imagination keeps on coming...................bravo ! 25 Apr 2008 3:28pm yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greecenice contrast and very well captured images 25 Apr 2008 3:59pm Shrig from NorthEast, United StatesGreat story with the photo. It's great to come here and look at a photo while getting a witty story at the same time. :) I like coming here as well. Have a great weekend! 25 Apr 2008 4:07pm bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomHey L&R...superb contrasting image,pals..two very individual entrances..yet both do the same job..hmmmmm. 26 Apr 2008 12:20am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesMy new company car is a Prius, and I've sort grown fond of its "key." I never have to take it out of my pocket. It's wireless, and when I touch the door handle it opens --as long as the key is on me. Then I just sit down and push the start button. It's very nice when your hands are full. 27 Apr 2008 3:59pm |
