Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaAs usual, so well put together and so clever! 10 May 2008 11:22pm Observing from Chester, United KingdomCool image Ronnie, I always try to decide which image I like the best L or R. In this case it dosen't matter because my head is alway's a Nr1 10 May 2008 11:26pm Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesI'm definitely going in on the right!! What's a proper man's haircut cost in the London? 11 May 2008 1:10am @Ron: : Nishana Minhaz from Calicut, IndiaWhoa!! Talk 'bout high standards of living! Here, there are places where you can get haircuts for just 25 rupees.. Such places are rare, but they do exist. 1$ is around 40 rupees, in case u wanna know :) 11 May 2008 9:10am yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greeceanother nice combination - excellent colors 11 May 2008 12:44pm sithenah from Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United KingdomI pay £7.50 including a beard-trim (that's pensioners rate) around the equivalent of $15. I could get it done locally for about £4 - in a city though I'd expect to pay at least £10. 11 May 2008 2:48pm @sithenah: : Sarah [ cupcake] from Statesville, United StatesI like this. Its somewhat simple, but very entertaining for the eye. 11 May 2008 5:24pm Graça B. from Lisboa, PortugalIt's true that I rather prefer the simple façade of Barber Shop, but if I were a man I definitely would choose Chris. Because he's modern and stylist...:)) 11 May 2008 5:34pm Fred from Easton PA, United StatesYour definitely a pro at blending those images ! 11 May 2008 5:38pm Marion from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaI'm pretty sure that sign says "open", but then you just might not be telling Lily the truth again ;D. Another great blending of two pictures. Just looking at Nishana and sithenah's comments about the cost of hair cuts. Guess I'll have to take a trip to your hair stylist as I will pay $30.00 for my hair cut on Tuesday!! 11 May 2008 5:57pm @Marion: (from Lilly) Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesI'll certainly take the one on the left... Get it cut and get out.. :-) 11 May 2008 7:50pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomAnother cool piece of photoshop magic, mixed with a wicked idea, and presented with both humour and skill. 11 May 2008 9:23pm Camiller from Lisboa, PortugalMay I introduce € in this conversation?! :))) Well, here in Lisbon I have my haircut just for €7,00. However, this is just in common barber shops. In the shoppings there are the modern hairdressings where the prices are most expensives (about €20,00). Your pictures are amazing. Always giving interesting details about lifestyles contrasts. Congratulations! 11 May 2008 10:20pm @Camiller: : danthro from Suburbia, United StatesNow that you mention it, I haven't had a haircut in a while either, thanks for the reminder... The one in R's shot looks more like a place you get your hair cut, for L's--what kind of hair salon doesn't have any windows, it looks almost boarded up 12 May 2008 1:47am CRFoto from Salt Lake City, United StatesI just shave my head every couple of months and call it good. Interesting comparisons though, as always. 12 May 2008 5:15am Margie from Auckland, New ZealandWell! As well as the usual entertaining L & R photo we have an interesting discussion about the cost of hair cuts around the world. Fabulous. I love it! 12 May 2008 5:35am Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanI believe barbers will be left without a job in the near future in Japan! The young men nowadays wear a strange hairstyle: bird's nest! I asked my young student (he's a fresh 22) and he confessed he never combs his hair! I was in shock for some moments! 12 May 2008 8:33am dpm from Maalé, Maldivesboth a open if you have a lot of time at hand and don't mind reading old mags go into the left shop. 12 May 2008 9:11am Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongLove the contrast. I'd go for the one on the left. solid simplicity! 12 May 2008 11:59am Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesAhh - a reminder that I am in need of a good trimming. Soon though SOON. 12 May 2008 5:25pm JoeB from Brampton, Canadathe one on the left looks more like a bar, on the right it looks modern for the sixties. I pay $10 for a cut which is actually on the low side. 12 May 2008 5:50pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomA brilliant blend of two different styles of Barber shops. 12 May 2008 8:48pm bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomWowee L&R ..what a great snip(oops--stitch) on this image ,pals.. 12 May 2008 11:50pm Gary from Cochise County, United StatesYou are really getting good at this. I'm impressed. 13 May 2008 12:31am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanIt's so many years I haven't be in that kind of shop... but I rather go on the right which has a more open feeling. 13 May 2008 12:51am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesI haven't been in one of these for ten years. I just cut my own hair. No fault of the blending job, but the difference in foreground perspective makes this a harder one to match. 13 May 2008 4:31pm annora from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysiai just got my haircut.and i can't believe the prices are so high for a haircut.gosh!i get my haircut for 8 ringgit. $1 is about 3.2 ringgit.yeah around there.but then again i get my haircut at a very low price if compared to other saloons in my area. 15 May 2008 3:42pm |
