Cool shot Ronnie, on the R side there's a mesh within the mesh. Interesting.

Not sure if it's what you guys were going for, but this makes me think of the frustration of trying to take pictures through chain link fences! It's always hard to get the lines out of the shot, but here you've used them for a wonderful piece! Well done :)

@Jrask: : (from Ronnie) I know what you mean about those ghostly lines in zoo shots . . one always runs across the tiger's eye!
Somehow reminds me of a Darth Vader cyclops crossed with the predator...

Amazing creativity.

cool mixing of the shots! i like how you changed some of the 'boxes' to monochrome or desaturated them.

@danthro: : (from Ronnie) Thanks, danthro. This one was inspired by a streetshot Lilly had taken thru a wire mesh fence. There was no way I could match the fence so I made a little mirror self-portrait of the Nikon through a garden sieve. Letting the two images eat into each other and punching the odd hole thru was just an idea we came up with later.
Very creative composition ! I like it !

not sure I understand that reply to danthro - I was going to say I couldn't see the join at all as the same metal rods appear to go all away across - great work whatever.

Another fine example of creative photo work. Love the way it meshes together seamlessly.

@niña: : (from Ronnie) Thanks, niña. Lilly set me a tough one to relate to here so I had to jump clean outside the box!
Fantastic work here!

You are very talented. It looks like Darth Vadar trying to peek through the fence. Another wonderful blending of images.

This is fabulous, and shows that you two continue to experiment rather than stay with the already successful formula. I admire that. I looked at this for a long time, thinking of all the different elements and the geometry of it all. Really an intriguing shot, particularly the mesh in both foreground and background. I'm so impressed (yet again . . .)

@GJC: : (from Ronnie) Thank you, GJC. This was a shift away from blending and into integration of the two images. It took on a sense of looking into and looking out of something along the way which retained the theme of 'contrast' that seems to run thru our site. Thanks, again, for your supportive and insightful Comments.
Most people are talking about looking through fences, but what I see is one of those Advent calendars.
