Ok, if there is a seam here I cannot see it. I know that the statue of Lincoln sits alone but I sure like his companions in this picture. A great composition Ronnie.
Politicians with character is very rare, Lincoln is one of very few, the right man at the right time. I like how you took one famous image and then added to it, the picture frame not expected but I kept looking at it.
My favorite is the left photo. I like how Abe is almost like a silhouette, and you can still tell that it's him because you can see the details on his face.
Ah, but if we could only have high officials or a president today that is just half the calibre of a Lincoln, what a different world it would be --and I say this in recognition of Lincoln's flaws, not as a hagiographer. Personally though, I lean a bit more towards the radical side, like a Thomas Paine.
