there's something really sweet about these shots. love the lighting in both of them, and R's especially! great color and texture in both. and like the dof in L's shot.

I'm not sure about the guy on the right... that's the sort of expression that sometimes gives me the creeps... then again, perhaps it's also a reflection of what I see in the mirror sometimes.

I think the statue on the right is winking. I find this odd - most people do not capture a wink for its an action understood through movement. I think this is GREAT and has given me new inspiration ;-)
