What is that squirrel doing? The one looking like a dancer without a head, on the L-shot. Strange …

The flash of the squirrels by both is amazing.

Good comparison, both action shots. Is that a rat in the lower photo ? looks like a long tail.

@Observing: : (from Ronnie) Yes, a rat . . the squirrel definitely did not want to share lunch !
Ohhhhh and swing your partner round and round - get up that tree to get down!

Nice one, my dog loves chasing squirrels, never caught up with them mind you, their too clever and too fast for him, I even saw one swimming across 300 foot of a river from one side to the other once, super little rodents, but probably pests as well.

@Richard_Irwin: : (from Ronnie) Thanks, Richard. Yes, squirrels are capable little critters and great fun to watch.
There are some movement especially for the lower picture but also the squirrel tail is blurred on the top one which show an action too. Very nice.

That's funny. We used to have a dog that laid in the backyard for hours watching squirrels at the feeder. When they got up on the feeder he'd attack, but he always had to start out so far away they were usually long gone before he got there. One time though, I had to intervene at the last moment and an inattentive squirrel lost a little tail fur.
