dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaNow I know why you only post every second day or so - it must take ages to put these photos together. Must say, Ronnie, friend - you are the master when it comes to these. All that and a sense of humour to boot! My only issue is that your actual photography skills sometimes go unnoticed - these are two great shots. Well done. 2 Dec 2008 7:09pm @dobbino: : SPunkt from Stuttgart, GermanyI see: Weeds look like roots. (As Alun said.) Or … well, not really. Roots look more like worms. And they are not in flower. 2 Dec 2008 8:14pm Fliss from Melbourne Beach, United StatesWeeds or not... all flowers are good flowers... all plants are good plants... 2 Dec 2008 10:18pm Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomAw, look at that last little daisy, hanging on in there. Lovely composition, a fantasy of blurring and intertwining of reality. 2 Dec 2008 11:20pm Daryl from Amagasaki, JapanLike the subtle colouring, and the fight against gravity! 2 Dec 2008 11:52pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanA beautiful and romantic image. The arrangement up-down instead of left-right is nice too. 3 Dec 2008 12:10am Chris from South Jersey, United Statesgreat combination (again), but I am dizzy (again). I see nothing wrong with your flowers Ronnie - some of my favorite flowers are weeds....... 3 Dec 2008 2:07am Josh from Pasadena, United Stateswow, perfect combo (like Chris said...as always!)...beautiful image :) 3 Dec 2008 2:12am Tracey from White Hall, United StatesWeeds are beautiful too! I love the way you divided this one! Nice work you two! 3 Dec 2008 2:46am Barbara from Florida, United StatesAlways surprising us with incredible images. It appears like a reflection in a pond but then realize it isn't. The pink flowers against the weathered brick are beautifully positioned. 3 Dec 2008 4:29am jamesy from christchurch, New Zealandhehehe I love it, sorry Ronnie I prefer Lillys flowers to your weeds. Another stunning compilation 3 Dec 2008 5:50am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaI love the somewhat muted colour, showing us that yes, summer is really gone. You know...sometimes the weeds are just as pretty :) 3 Dec 2008 6:15am Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomLooks like you are the undergrowth Ronnie ! 3 Dec 2008 7:46am MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyFor them it's just weeds, for us they are the most beautiful plants of the world! ;-) 3 Dec 2008 9:42am Laurent from Lyon, Franceso well made!! 3 Dec 2008 12:27pm @Laurent: : Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandHaha ... so when Ronnie is working in the garden you end up with all the flowers gone and left with the weeds?! ;) Great how you always manage to combine the photo's so beautiful. 3 Dec 2008 2:48pm @Monique: : @Craig: : Giovanni from Milan, Italyhaha, fantastic pairing R+L! Perfect processing as always! You should post a "making of" someday! 3 Dec 2008 3:49pm Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaMy first reaction is always wonder and thrilled by the beauty and the compo and the second reaction is laughter, great post L R ;) 3 Dec 2008 3:54pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesYou two are too creative! I love this stuff. It's great! 3 Dec 2008 3:58pm grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomLilly weeds are only flowers growing in the wrong place. Admittedly these appear to be growing upside down but surely that must be sign of superb gardening skills. 3 Dec 2008 4:05pm Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceIt is very nice to see flowers… With this snow outside… 3 Dec 2008 4:38pm willow from Chelsea, United StatesSlightly disorienting in a fun kind of way. The two of you together have about ten people's worth of imagination. 3 Dec 2008 7:41pm Les from Lincoln, United StatesI agree with Calusarus. It snowed here today, too. I was happy to see your pretty Impatiens. 3 Dec 2008 9:29pm Rabbit from Richmond, United StatesAh well - herbs are weeds too and we like them for different things. I bet the "weed" flowers are much easier to take care of. 3 Dec 2008 11:26pm One from Açores, PortugalThat mountain of creativity, composition and colors are really special !! 4 Dec 2008 3:11am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaAmazing (as usual) how you can make the unnatural look totally natural. I second Dobbino, above, when he says that your actual photographic skills may go unnoticed while your audience is wowed by the incredible effects you produce. Lets applaud you two for every aspect of your great work, then! 4 Dec 2008 3:59am Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainBeautiful light and colors in this composition. 4 Dec 2008 6:33am tyan from Singapore, Singaporehaha, but some weeds lookn really good esp when they flower you know,i love this, now its up and down, not right and left anymore?:) 4 Dec 2008 8:10am Carson from Portland, United StatesOne person's weeds are another's flowers....this is spectacular!!!! 4 Dec 2008 3:24pm alex centrella from California, United Statesclever again, i still say you should put together a book about this clever idea you have, i know i would buy one. 4 Dec 2008 4:54pm Conflagratio from Valencia, SpainAbsolutely gorgeous floral scene, with a very nice processing. Regards. 4 Dec 2008 11:15pm lissa from New York, United Statesgreat combination, didn't realize the bottom image was upside at first 5 Dec 2008 12:28am Zing from Hamilton, New ZealandVery interesting, I love the flowers and the "weeds", they look great together. 5 Dec 2008 3:55am Disoriented from Grinnell, IA, United StatesI just realized how it easy it would be to pull the weeds down instead of up. It'll save my back! =D 5 Dec 2008 5:49am Doug from Long Beach, United StatesSometimes weeds have nicer flowers than vines. I'm just sayin'. 5 Dec 2008 6:42am Nishana Minhaz from Calicut / Kochi, IndiaThats a lovely combination of images!! Something very endearing bout those flowers.. Lilly, are they from ur garden? And Ronnie, ur 'flowers' are just as pretty! :) 5 Dec 2008 8:30am djedfre from schaumburg, United Stateshey Ronnie, just remember the first rule of gardening - green side up! 5 Dec 2008 10:11am @lisa v: ha ha , , yes, nice idea !!
