Lilly : Been shovelling snow in 5° since dawn and the gas station was all iced up when I got there !
Ronnie : Yes, I've got a treacherous 43° outside . . so, sitting close to the heat and got my Rupert Bear scarf ready.
Lilly : Oh, Ronnie, the risks you take ! And, please, don't let anyone see you wearing that yellow scarf.

I have hard time undrestand how cold is 43 Fahrenheit, here we go by Celsius temperature scales, it was like -25 C in Montreal last night when I went to club. And I didn't have a yellow scarf to warm me up a bit!

It's a great challenge for me whenever I see F degrees! I never learn to convert it and I should search every time! I really like that! :D

A good comment of different perspectives on whats cold, as for F and C, I am used to Celsius and with and everyone here use farenheit, so I use a mix of both

(from Ronnie) I used "Centigrade" (as Celsius used to be) until it became 'official' and, then, turned to Fahrenheit ! The kinda guy I am.

Ahhhh Rupert Bear... have not heard that bears name in the longest time... as for me... I am so use to the 'Celsius'... still have trouble with Fahrenheit here in the US... I just go along with whatever it feels like outside... hehe

It's -40 in my part of the world today. At this point F & C balance, and it's -40 in either scale. Debates solved here. Can I borrow the scarf?

I'm already cold when it's 18 degrees Celsius (you do the math ;) ), so I'm happy you are doing all the snow shovelling and I can watch it from the other side of the world :) I like the yellow scarf and the mixture of cold photo's.

I've got so tangled up in C & F debates in all the comments, my minds all jumbled. In another sense Lily has 258.1 kelvin and Ronnie has 279.3 kelvin......now that seems warmer.
