My brother had one of those and I hated those cars, they always missed the curves and landed up side down next to the tracks! Good luck to you! Good thing Lily had some spare parts :)

Marvelous play with images. Fun track and cars, as a child I always wanted one of these... even with being a girl. Ironically I just bought a similar gift, track with some hot wheels for a childs gift.
Just yesterday I saw a show on antique toys, amazing what they are worth in perfect conditon. The one on the right appears to have some age to it. Worth hanging onto.

In my California childhood I remember commercial "slot car" tracks where we paid to race electric cars like this.
