Lilly : I worry about the car starting on cold days like this.
Ronnie : Yup, even my daffodils are held back in the Arctic conditions here.
Lilly : Arctic ? Arctic ?? Is that what they tell you ?

Amazing. I'm not sure where the split is
15 Jan 2009 12:18pm
Another seamingless composition, great job and it really looks like the Arctic, I would like to go into that cold, to much uses to the tropics after 5 years :) I guess there will be many bears on the road now?
15 Jan 2009 1:22pm
Oh wow! Brilliant work here on both of your parts! I'm looking hard to see where the change takes place and I just cannot see it. The seasons flow together wonderfully as they do in the 'real' world. Fantastic!
15 Jan 2009 2:10pm
Thanks for the appreciation ! Both these shots were taken yesterday our usual 4,000 miles apart !
Well done. Love the attention to detail - power lines continuing across the split. It looks like you have a direct power or phone connection acroos the Atlantic!
15 Jan 2009 2:43pm
Definitive global warming. best...jerry
15 Jan 2009 3:08pm
I LOVE IT! I would move across the street. In this scene it is not a fantasy because it looks so realistic. When the image first opened I thought this is your best, but I keep saying that so I will say ALL of your image masterpieces are THE BEST!
15 Jan 2009 3:11pm
Wow, that's done well. *noddingheavily*
My car didn't.
15 Jan 2009 3:42pm
This is so cool and so accurate, you even matched the shadows and sky colour! Amazing!
15 Jan 2009 4:05pm
You are great!!!!!
15 Jan 2009 4:35pm
The car will be fine if you just move it to the other side of the street where it is still warm.
I love this. You did such a great job with it. Very clever.
It has been miserable cold here the past 2 winters, this one worse than the last...My heating bills are killing me even though the cost of the fuel is much lower than last year, and we even installed an ultra high efficiency, boiler over the summer which was supposed to save us a LOT on fuel...Grrrrrrrr and Brrrrrrrrrrrr!
15 Jan 2009 4:56pm
this is soooo coool! :) your stuff makes me smile and keeps me looking for signs of the post-processing, which is so wonderfully subtle!
15 Jan 2009 4:58pm
Great assemblage... Wish i could go from the cold side of the street to the warmer side! It is freezing here!
15 Jan 2009 5:45pm
Amazing !... your montage is fantastic !
15 Jan 2009 5:54pm
great stuff, good images
15 Jan 2009 6:11pm
On the left, how it used to be. On the right the effect of global warm-up.
15 Jan 2009 6:19pm
Such a drastic weather change!
15 Jan 2009 6:22pm

15 Jan 2009 6:25pm

the right side surely doesnt look artic like LOL
16 Jan 2009 12:51am
:-) It's all relative... I cheer myself up that Boston at 15F/-10C is better than the -40(C and F) my friends in Minnesota must endure!
nice winter shots - I really like the light on both sides and the smooth transition of the road and shadows. masterful work!
16 Jan 2009 1:08am
Different parts of the world and temperatures... The blending is really good, even the electric pole lines are crossing from left to right.
16 Jan 2009 1:31am
Yeah... people always expect England to be the coldest place on earth. Where did that reputation come from?!
16 Jan 2009 2:31am
The weather said... local snow showers, but this is ridiculous..! Great work again you two, I must say I had to think about this one... those phone wires continuing across the street.
16 Jan 2009 2:36am
Amazing how the weather differs from one side of the street to the other. Heh. Sometimes here in FL it will rain across the road from me, and not a drop on my side. That's really scattered showers. Great split scene, R&L.
16 Jan 2009 2:44am
good combo though I would rather be on Ronnie's side
16 Jan 2009 2:45am
c'est bizarre, il n'a neigé que d'un coté !!
16 Jan 2009 5:37am

16 Jan 2009 11:48am
Terrific, you have stitched these two together so seamlessly.
16 Jan 2009 12:15pm
on the left you can see the winter, on the right nearly spring, for summer wait and see !
a peaceful atmosphere
16 Jan 2009 2:45pm
What would I do if this was real? Drink chilled Heineken beer on one side and enjoy Laphroaig whisky near the fireplace on the other side. Life would be double treat.
16 Jan 2009 4:55pm
Really Great composed...Really Great!!
16 Jan 2009 5:02pm
16 Jan 2009 6:23pm

16 Jan 2009 6:47pm
Wonderful shot ! lovely compo .. excellent !
16 Jan 2009 7:47pm
This came out perfect, I think it is one of my faves from you two! It's practically seamless! The two very different climates seem to be right next door. It blends very well. :)
16 Jan 2009 7:54pm
A premium blend.
16 Jan 2009 10:16pm
Great shots... though of course the snowy side looks a little Arctic to me...
16 Jan 2009 10:23pm
Wow, the merging of scenes is magnificently accomplished. I wonder if it will ever snow again properly on our side of the Atlantic.
