I'm with Lilly all the way on this one!! I don't miss the darkroom one bit...especially the part where my editor would glare at me and hiss the deadline before removing the pencil from behind his ear in dismissal.

Glad to see you are keeping up the old traditions Ronnie. In my college days i spilt fix all down my jeans. The next day the trouser legs felt rather stiff and when I sat down on the bus my knees ripped straight through the cloth.

Never did the darkroom but can only imagine. Technology has really widened the opportunity for amateurs to produce great results at home.

This is excellent! I like the analog vs the digital contrasts here.
Bravo...I think there is something kinda romantic abaout working in a darkroom with film and red light.

"...keep going." LOL! I like seeing your shot tacked to the wall in Lilly's shot. The word "Enter" is probably worn out on Lilly's Epson printer by now with all that printing she's doing.

These two shot combined could be used very effectively in an article on changing technology. Excellent work on that, then. The addition of the clever dialogue is the icing on the cake!
How times have changed for most of us who have been doing photography for a long time. I wonder if anyone's using my old Durst enlarger and Nikkor lens? I just looked up Durst on Google and see that they stopped making enlargers in 2006.
