Our camera images in this posting have moved so far from the originals that we thought an explanation might be of interest.
Lilly took her sweet shot of one of a million replicas of the 1936 “Bird Girl” statue by Sylvia Shaw Judson some time back and we were at a loss to find any worthy ‘pairing’. By chance, Ronnie came across a small sculpture in a London church which seemed to have something of the same calling. Much manipulation was needed to bring the gazes into a sense of focus on the bowl.
The blend was placed under a heavy texture made from a sheet of writing parchment . . after that, everything is a blur !
