dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaIt's an interesting question - but their engines are always bright and shiny, so maybe that keeps them busy. And I agree with Lilly, so will you let us know in the next couple of days? :) 2 Jul 2009 1:04pm Giovanni from Milan, ItalyGood question! sleeping? reading? I look forward to reading you reply, Ronnie! 2 Jul 2009 1:14pm jeff (aka dogilicious) from Millerstown, PA, United StatesI don't think they do much! A friend of mine works 24 hour shifts where he has to stay at the station. If there aren't any fires in 24 hours it can be very boring. This is an awesome collection of shots. Really great work blending the 2 shots. 2 Jul 2009 1:20pm MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyObviously they are keeping their station and cars clean and shiny. :) 2 Jul 2009 2:44pm Laurent from Lyon, FranceSuperbly made! 2 Jul 2009 5:59pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesYou raise an excellent guestion here. I would say these days they surf the internet looking for some great images, perhaps yours that tell a great story. 2 Jul 2009 8:28pm Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceI like the different tones of red here 2 Jul 2009 8:47pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesYes, Ronnie, we do expect that! Great stuff! 2 Jul 2009 9:41pm Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesSeamless... no one would know except the the clues L and R... nice! 3 Jul 2009 8:17pm k@ from Paris, FranceEach time i have to take a pause between my reading of your dialogues (because I laugh aloud) and be back to the pic...... So : love that red echo and the compo is real good (and the dialogues hilarious :---))) 3 Jul 2009 11:13pm akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI think that firemen are very busy in some area. And between fire fights there should be lot's of maintenance and training. A very hard job and there should be more respect for them (I am thinking about France with some agressive people) 3 Jul 2009 11:37pm willow from Chelsea, United StatesThe guys I know like to cook - they spend hours planning and cooking a meal only to get called out to a fire just as they're sitting down to enjoy it. Figures, huh?! Nice composition. 4 Jul 2009 2:55am Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandThere's so much to see in these photo's and what a lovely building! I guess they have a lot of maintenance to do and those cars look really shiny! Ronnie did a great job on the framing! 4 Jul 2009 6:28am Laura from Birmingham, United Kingdomthis shot is really great. Wonderful composition and mix of primary colours 4 Jul 2009 7:30am Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomNicely done there, the 2 buildings and door crossing over each other... 4 Jul 2009 1:17pm yz from Budapest, Hungarysomehow it reminds me of my childhood, playing with a fire station lego set :) 5 Jul 2009 4:30pm @yz: : (from Ronnie) I know what you mean. yz . . for some reason, the image has come out all 'toy-town' - which seems to suit it ! Lunamania from Oakland, United StatesWow, I really like the different planes in this shot--tricky capture! 14 Jul 2009 11:17pm |
