Very nice. The "Security Apartments" leave me feeling less than secure. Maybe its the stenciled sign!

Thought that 1015 was maybe the time you took the photo, but seizing the gold reserves sounds quite painful, so I will shut up! Brilliantly done!

Perfection in putting these entrances together. I like the look of a castle with the lion heads. Did they name it Security Apartments before or after the bars on the windows?
The coat of arms is quite impressive, I wonder if a member of the Royal family resides there. Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall perhaps.
I'm impressed by what you two come up with.

@Barbara: : (from Ronnie) Not quite Prince Charles . . mine was the doorway of The Hall of the Worshipful Company of Innholders, in College Street, City of London . . but they were incorporated under a Royal Charter in 1514 !

The name "Security Apartments" sends the wrong message to me. On top of that, the font used for the signage makes the sign seem somewhat "tacky." On the other hand, ronnie's shot seems completely opposite where it give the impression that you are free to enter and leave at anytime and that there is no worry about the ornate work atop the door. Interesting comparison.

I must agree just a bit with Steve... I somehow see the apartments being owned by someone named Scarface or Slasher.... I also am suspicious of what the sign behind the door says... my imagination races...

I am not sure if this is private entrances. The 2 lions and "security" name are not very wellcoming in my eyes. Nice juxtaposition.

I love doors, and entrances and windows, above all they catch my attention, this duo is fantastic! Security apartments. Wouldn't that be asking for trouble? Or do they mean the apt. are secure because of special security...lol I hope so 'cause if you're posting apts that belong to the security service, write your will, fast ;)
