yz from Budapest, Hungaryi want a photograph of both of you wearing those clothes :) 20 Jul 2009 11:19am António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalThis site is turning classical, conventional, almost Victorian. 20 Jul 2009 12:38pm MARIANA from waterloo, CanadaSuper shot of this corner :)) Instead of that pink dress i would rather have that lovely doll :)) 20 Jul 2009 3:38pm Chris from South Jersey, United Statesyour effort in this is great - I don't know how you got that reflection of the Lilly storefront onto yours Ronnie, but it was well done.... 20 Jul 2009 4:37pm @Chris: Thank you. First time we tried one of those, Chris, and, compared to some of our tricks, it was not that tough ! Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesYou could each get a job in the respective windows and gaze at each other every day. 20 Jul 2009 4:51pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesYou have put these two store fronts together as if they have always been there. 20 Jul 2009 6:17pm @Barbara: : (from Lilly) The first thing I noticed in Ronnie's half was the shirt wall! I don't even think he had noticed it yet! Must be something a woman sees! : (from Ronnie) Yup, Lilly is 100% right that I never noticed the wall of shirts while I was there. Shirts in that neighborhood can cost more than I would pay for a suit so it is lucky I didn't see them ! JamesC from portland, United StatesSweet. I like the color and tones and the suggested conversation. 20 Jul 2009 6:31pm Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomI'm expecting a dance scene to start... 20 Jul 2009 9:01pm k@ from Paris, FranceAlways have to wait a minute after laughing... to be able to laugh again ! 20 Jul 2009 10:01pm Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesThe period costume left reminds me of a line from the BBC show Extras. Remarking about the look of one of the main actors in period costume on a movie set, the female extra asks the male extra: Why don't men dress like that anymore? And he says: Probably because they'd get beaten up in the tube. 20 Jul 2009 10:31pm @Twelvebit: : (from Ronnie) hee hee . . yes, one of the (many) odd things in London is that there are workers at visitor attractions who DO travel on the Tube in their regalia .. and, being London, no-one takes much notice . . lol . . JoeB from Brampton, CanadaI like the blending with a corner in it!! I don't think Ronnie is capable of standing still for long or short for that matter. 21 Jul 2009 12:37am Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesWow... that's excellent... I can see a twilight zone episode in this one. 21 Jul 2009 12:54am @Earnest: Some of these do spawn spin-offs we never dreamed about ! jeff (aka dogilicious) from Millerstown, PA, United StatesClothes for headless people? Well put together. 21 Jul 2009 1:38am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaWonderful combination. Who wouldn't believe that this scene wasn't for real! 21 Jul 2009 4:46am @Andrew Gould: Thanks, Andrew . . the credibility of some of these is kinda scary, yes ? Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandI'm still figuring out how you've put these two together ... as if they belong that way! I love Lilly's taste, that's one gorgeous dress ... she'll be the belle of the ball! Good luck with that job Ronnie! :) 21 Jul 2009 6:15am @Monique: Thank you, Monique. One of the nicest discoveries of OurTwoSense is that Visitors can feel an involvement in the images and that displaying and looking becomes more of a two-way street. This corner does not exist, of course, but, if we went there, we'd all recognize it ! Zing from Hamilton, New ZealandI like the reflection of the pink dress on the other store, nice one! 21 Jul 2009 6:27am @Zing: : (from Ronnie) Thanks, Zing . . yes, the idea of re-creating a reflection in a corner was in our minds before we went take the pics . . compared to some of our tricks, it was not that difficult ! Lunamania from Oakland, United StatesI love all the details--the blue ribbon frame, the array of shirts, the reflection of the pink dress--wonderful image. 21 Jul 2009 7:46am djedfre from schaumburg, United Statesnice work! (cheating reflections is always fun!) 21 Jul 2009 9:26am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaSmashing reflections, but you're right not worth losing your head over ;) 21 Jul 2009 10:12am dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaCareful you don't get pushed into a corner here, Ronnie :) This is absolutely outstanding! 21 Jul 2009 11:52am grouser from Ludlow, United KingdomRonnie I'm sure if you were in the window you would be head and shoulders above the rest and of course we will drink, we will drink to Lilly the Pink. 21 Jul 2009 1:41pm bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaThere seems to be a conversation going on between the plastic headless people in the windows. Your composition is so emotive, fun and artsy, and I imagine them ballroom dancing at night when the lights go out! So cool! 21 Jul 2009 7:35pm @bluechameleon: : bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomHey you twooz...how goes it,pals..?? 21 Jul 2009 10:41pm bronzebilly u.k. from Barry,Vale of Glamorgan, United KingdomSorry pals..I forgot to highlight this image :- 21 Jul 2009 10:42pm willow from Chelsea, United StatesTee Hee - lost your heads with this one for sure! 22 Jul 2009 2:16am Francesc B. from région parisienne, FranceIdeas and sense of the observation always present... Your head is indeed on shoulders :)) 22 Jul 2009 8:45pm Denise from Duncannon, United StatesActually I prefer headless manequins, the faces always look so fake! Good one, love the reflections! 23 Jul 2009 1:35am Cricket-Tammy from Somewhere in the, United StatesI amazed at how you two can work together like this. Fantastic image. 24 Jul 2009 12:53am Tamara Tantrum from Fort Myers, FL, United StatesWhat a dress! I like the way that the male mannequins are turned toward the female mannequin.. as if they are admiring her. :) 24 Jul 2009 2:29pm Dulcie from Danville, United StatesGreat shot. I like the way the pink dress reflects over the smartypants suits! You might like to view my photo and my friend's poem, that goes along your same theme: Manny-Kins 25 Jul 2009 6:34pm Dulcie from Danville, United StatesThe link I gave on my comment didn't work--I'll try once more: 25 Jul 2009 6:46pm @Dulcie: Hey, that's a cool parallel you have there . . we corrected the link for you so all is well. Thanks for stopping by. Dulcie ! Dawn from Maryland, United StatesGreat shot!! Love the reflection of the pink dress. : ) 26 Jul 2009 8:27pm pedro alexandre from loures, Portugali guess everybody lost their "heads" when they saw all that shirts lined up, and the reflections it was a nice touch, very creative. 28 Jul 2009 11:04am Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesPerfect. Great dialogue. Love how you put the images together. The reflection is awesome! Even more awesome is that you thought of doing it before taking the photos. I can't imagine how you plan these being on different continents. The bright colors of the wall of shirts (I didn't notice them either) is a great counterbalance to the bright left side. 29 Jul 2009 12:16pm |
