Andrei Barbu from Timisoara, RomaniaGood shot, i like the colors, texture and light! 6 Oct 2009 11:26am Chris from South Jersey, United Stateswell done - it kid of looks like an MC Escher painting..... 6 Oct 2009 1:57pm @Chris: One of my heroes, Chris. (Ronnie) Don from spokane, United StatesI like the variety of windows on this building. Nice detail and rich color. 6 Oct 2009 2:48pm @Don: Don, we have left a link to an explanation of our two shots (there are two of us contributing to each post!) Shar from Regina, SK, CanadaI guess that this building has had "some" renos done over the years...good eye! 6 Oct 2009 4:36pm Christel from Köln, GermanyGood evening ..... 6 Oct 2009 4:56pm Jen from Alpharetta, United StatesYes it can be very confusing can't it? ; ) 6 Oct 2009 5:13pm John from Eureka, United StatesI agree with Craig, excellent blending. I like the blue accents. 6 Oct 2009 5:30pm ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United StatesIs a permit required for such renovation? Crazy window upper left! best...jerry 6 Oct 2009 6:19pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesI have to say the entertainment from your blog is much better than doing housework! 6 Oct 2009 7:45pm @Barbara: Thanks, as always, Barbara. This was, actually, a draft for something else we hope to be trying but it looked fun so we posted it ! MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyEven without merging them together, at least the right one looks pretty odd to me. Is there a story behind it? 6 Oct 2009 10:24pm @MadScientist: There's always a story but, as to the shape, they were originally chimney flues serving open fireplaces on the first, second and third floors. They are capped off now that the showbiz owner has had a rooftop pool and sundeck installed up top. akarui from Kagoshima, JapanAlways a very good job of blending and it is nice to have posted the 2 originals pictures. (I might do that for my next compositing). The building of Ronnie side has allready a very strange shape. 7 Oct 2009 12:23am @akarui: Thank you, Olivier, and I agree on the strange shape. That is, actually, the side of the house and faces a brewery. The front faces the River Thames and is a little more pretty ! (Ronnie) Tracey from Maryland, United StatesIt is dag-gone amazing how you do that! Very cool blending! 7 Oct 2009 12:49am @Tracey: Thanks, Tracy. This was not a tricky one to blend but it was great fun ! (Ronnie) JoeB from Brampton, CanadaWhat a variety of window frames, its like having different chairs at a dining table. 7 Oct 2009 1:04am @JoeB: (Ronnie quietly closes his dining room door) willow from Chelsea, United StatesDefinitely not just you who's confused. Seamless construction and really intriguing composition. Trying to imagine what the inside would look like... 7 Oct 2009 1:44am @willow: I have been inside similar houses nearby this one and they are very grand but full of interesting quirks. They were first built around 1750 but often significantly altered like this one. The finest nearby sold (in those 'good' times) for just under $20 million. I cannot speak for Lilly's 'mansion' there . . hee hee Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesBeautiful job with the blending considering how bright and detailed this composition is! 7 Oct 2009 2:12am Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesThis isn't some disguised statement on British versus American class....is it? 7 Oct 2009 3:15am @Twelvebit: ha ha . . well, my end of the blend was originally built in 1750 and just before the Second Continental Congress. Why, George Washington was still a teenager. (Ronnie) pernilla from Andonno, ItalyVery nice creation! Like the result. Even if the parts are in the same place buildings sometimes are very confusing :) 7 Oct 2009 8:34am Allan Clark from Dunedin, New Zealandyou get some of the most stunning shots nice work 7 Oct 2009 8:43am Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThe beauty of it is that a building like this could exist and the seamless join is great! 7 Oct 2009 12:08pm Dawn from Maryland, United StatesI don't know how you do it. This is amazing. Wow!!! 7 Oct 2009 12:22pm Florence from Paris, FranceThanks Ron for your com ! Really appreciated. 7 Oct 2009 7:20pm dobbino from Cape Town, South AfricaWhat really amazes me is the way you find images like these, taken at different times, to blend into the final post! The mind boggles - just like Lilly's :) 7 Oct 2009 7:22pm @dobbino: Not only taken at different times, but from 4000 miles apart! We usually seem to figure it out! philippe from dijon, FranceCette image n'est pas seulement : jolie, elle est également très bien composée... 7 Oct 2009 8:15pm Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesI think this Blenge Street creation makes more sense than the originals. That's just me. :-) Are you two frustrated architects? 7 Oct 2009 10:59pm Denise from Duncannon, United StatesI wonder if there was a painted sign on the house on the left? 8 Oct 2009 12:10am Framed and Shot from HOUSTON, United StatesAnd some of us just love those buildings, all the windows, the doors... the lack of symmetry... 8 Oct 2009 1:47am crash from Weehawken NJ, United Statesi really like the brick shapes and patterns in this building ... very nicely composed shot 8 Oct 2009 12:10pm Alex from Barcelona, SpainLa de ventanas que hay en este edificio, y no hay nadie asomado en ninguna de ellas. 8 Oct 2009 12:21pm yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greecegreat facade - it seems like one building 8 Oct 2009 3:47pm Krista from Guelph, Ontario, CanadaWow! It took me a minute to figure this out! Well done! 9 Oct 2009 2:44am Pied Crow from Nairobi, KenyaYou've done this one really well, it almost looks plausible, but is just that little bit off to keep one looking. 9 Oct 2009 5:03am Alun from cheshire, United KingdomYou would think it was all one shot, cracking image 9 Oct 2009 5:36am Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomIt would be great to wander round inside... 9 Oct 2009 9:30pm Magda from Vancouver, Canadahahaha you are so funny and clever!!! Looking at your "before" images are am amazed how well they bled together in this image! You are so talented! :) 10 Oct 2009 5:16am Andrew Gould from Sydney, AustraliaIt's not just you, Lilly... it's both of you!
