Bettina from Los Angeles, United StatesJust beautiful. I love your collaboration and juxtapositions. These two are wonderful. 9 Jun 2010 5:41am @Bettina: Thank you from us both, Bettina ! (Ronnie) Mithun Varma from Bangalore, IndiaNice collage. The shot definitely has a mystic feel to it. 9 Jun 2010 6:50am @Zing: Thanks, Zing. We don’t have an Order of Work on these postings and seldom know where we are headed until we're done ! But, the Conversation is written after the Composition and the Title comes last. Strangely enough, the Title, then, becomes most important and ‘refreshes’ the perception of the image and the process re-runs itself . . . (Ronnie) kerfendal from Paris, Franceperhaps expired past, some people speak of a change of the earth axes 9 Jun 2010 7:19am yz from Budapest, Hungarybut if you put together the two you might open the stargate and the invasion of aliens will start, so i am really happy that this time you didn't photoshopped them together 9 Jun 2010 7:38am @yz: Who know, Zoltán, the Aliens may make a better job of it than BP ! (Ronnie) MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyLilly's looks like a prohibition sign: 'No half moons allowed' :-) 9 Jun 2010 7:46am @MadScientist: ha ha . . I wish we'd thought of that, now - would have set off in a totally different direction or, even, turned back ! Thanks, Manfred. Chris from South Jersey, United StatesI usually think simpler is better, but as a man I love the complexity in Ronnie's find! Nice comparision..... 9 Jun 2010 9:50am António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalThose devices never run out. First you tell the Future, secondly you imagine how the device can tell that Future. 9 Jun 2010 10:11am @António Pires: ha ha . .yes, 'wishful thinking' is an art-form we have all perfected !! (Ronnie) k@ from Paris, FranceThat's why only Present counts as we photographers know so well ;) 9 Jun 2010 10:18am @k@: . . I was about to fully agree with you . . but the moment has passed ! (Ronnie at Speed) JJ from Jersey City, United StatesBoth are real cool finds, with the world as it is now I think the future may be too scary for us to know about LOL 9 Jun 2010 11:52am @JJ: True, JJ . . .the Gulf is pretty much a trailer for what is to come, I think. (Ronnie) grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom$£*!% not one bad pun springs to mind, but I do no one thing 9 Jun 2010 12:02pm @grouser: (from Lilly) I'm a peeping-tom techie with x-ray eyes Great song. :) ordinaryimages from Kentucky Bluegrass, United StatesOne cannot photograph the future...the moment the shutter falls...it's the past. best...jerry 9 Jun 2010 12:11pm Amanda from Jersey City, United StatesI always love your attention to detail! The tiny push pin marks in the polaroid are the perfect final touch. 9 Jun 2010 1:34pm @Amanda: Amanda, you are too kind : that is a genuine Polaroid mount from my sweet SX-70 (with Lilly's digital image inserted) and the Polaroid had been pinned up somewhere in the distant, dusty past. But, yes, I liked those pin-marks, too ! (Ronnie) grouser from Ludlow, United Kingdom$%£*ing hell saw your reply and 'knowticed' how I spelt 'Know'. Oh for an edit button. Is that in the future do you think, apart from the brightness of course? :) 9 Jun 2010 4:16pm @grouser: (from Lilly) Eye don't no about an edit button, but eye dew know that all of hour futures are bright. Christel from Köln, GermanyGood evening, Ronnie 9 Jun 2010 6:19pm Daryl Johnson from Farnham, United KingdomLilly, I think, for once, you might not have backed a winner there... 9 Jun 2010 7:21pm @Daryl Johnson: The Future will tell, Daryl - if only I can get it started ! (Ronnie) Andrei Barbu from Timisoara, RomaniaExcellent work, very well done! Great composition! 9 Jun 2010 8:05pm Allan Clark from Dunedin, New Zealandthis is an other grate shot you work is interesting and fun 9 Jun 2010 9:06pm DowsherVision from PARIS, FranceTrès belle construction, j'adore! 9 Jun 2010 9:49pm @Steve Rice: Hey, over here with the 'We Trust Ronnie" group, Steve . . plenty of room ! (Trusted Ronnie) Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesI like these compositions that you have been creating as of late which make it look like there's two separate photo for one post. 10 Jun 2010 12:28am @Steven: (from Lilly) Ronnie and I each take a different photo, and we make a composite of them to present a little story for each posting. Sometimes the two photo's are obvious, but sometimes they're blended so well, you can't tell there are two photos. But there are always two! One from each of us! B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United StatesI don't know which is more fun, the shot or the comments! ;-) 10 Jun 2010 2:43am @B. Thomas: The Photographers and the Writers in us both are each so pleased to read that ! (Both) Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandIn combination with my photo today who knows we could tell the future :) Especially Lilly's find looks very intriguing! 10 Jun 2010 5:29am @Monique: Your photo of today is amazing, Monique - recommended viewing ! Shuva Brata Deb from Bangalore, IndiaSuch pictures can be used to advertise the new 3D television. 10 Jun 2010 5:51am Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainFunny way of makes us think about essence of Time :)) 10 Jun 2010 6:15am @k@: Thank you, Karine, and you set me to correcting the early-dawn typo, too, by mentioning it ! Such collaboration !! (Ronnie) Anita from West Nottingham, United StatesMy thinking went this way: No moons, hence, no future. 10 Jun 2010 11:02am akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI like both of them but Ronnie's find makes me travel futher in the time... past and future. 10 Jun 2010 12:22pm Viewfinder from Bradenton, FL, United StatesRan out, unless you might be a "Timelord" like Dr. Who. 10 Jun 2010 12:23pm Barbara from Florida, United StatesI knew you two had extraordinary capabilities.
