Ronnie : Vaguely . . I was reading something about it the other day while waiting for a taxi.
Lilly : Oh . . you should have asked the cab driver where it is, silly.

Memories come flooding back from that iconic shot. As a pre-teen I remember seeing them film 'Help' in..... ermm where was it now? oh yes, I was in Lime Street so it must be Liverpool. A very cool picture Ronnie.

@JCJ: We each have the original vinyl disc of 1969, yes, but that is the sleeve of Lilly's copy (and her hand) added into the London location image here. (Ronnie)

I can't describe the enormity of nostalgia this image evokes in me. This was one of my favourite Beatles albums, and I believe the last to be recorded by them. "Here comes the sun" was the one that stood out for me most, but overall it was a brilliant collection.

@dobbino: Well, 'Let it Be' was released the following year, 1970, but "most of Let It Be was recorded in January 1969, before the recording and release of the album Abbey Road. For this reason some critics and fans argue that Abbey Road should be considered the group's final album and Let It Be the penultimate" (Wiki)

But, seriously, it was a strange place to be on a weekday afternoon because there was nothing much to see other than folks of all ages standing around seeing there is not much to see and walking in strange steps over The Crossing risking death in the traffic . . but, yes, there is a presence there.
