Lilly : My brother got this problem with his bike, Ronnie !
Ronnie : I have just the people to help - specialists !
Lilly : Seems real suspicious they should be that special . .

@grouser: One of your best, Grouser - hope you don't mind me putting that up top with a link to you !! (Ronnie)
@k@: Thanks, Karine. Yes, the last couple decades has a seen a revolution in bike usage but, as always, the bad comes in with the good. Have a lovely weekend. (Ronnie)
Thanks for the big laugh! :-) Wonderful combination. Love the bike without wheels.
1 Apr 2011 10:35am
Good one with my morning tea : )))) should have locked up the wheels like the sign said... can't image who might have borrowed them....I bet that store has exactly the wheels he needs.....have a great weekend..
1 Apr 2011 10:37am
The poor bike is looking plaintively over to its only hope ...
1 Apr 2011 11:11am
@grouser: Very welcome - thanx, Grouser.
BIkes like this red one are everywhere in Waterloo ;) What a sad story of their life ;)
1 Apr 2011 11:58am
@MARIANA: Yes, the same in London . . I'm sure I could collect enough locally abandoned parts to make a bike in a day !
It's very important to be literate and your presentation here is the right example! (The BEE could read and found the bowl of honey!)
I don't think that the owners of the shop on the opposite side were in need of two wheels (?!)
1 Apr 2011 12:01pm
Very suspicious because the shop is right across the street! I think they are very creative businessmen ;)
You put the photos together seaming less, really perfect!
1 Apr 2011 1:09pm
Specialists? Don't lose the wheel on your unicycle!
1 Apr 2011 1:11pm
excellent. theft feels like a very personal violation
1 Apr 2011 1:51pm
what an iron-y, hahaha! "Two Wheels Good," lamented the bike on my side of the street! Thank you for this picture and for the humorous conversation(s) you 2 always have! :)
1 Apr 2011 2:29pm
Hahaha... What a great find ! Well spotted ! Have a nice weekend :)
1 Apr 2011 2:41pm
oh my gosh don't make me laugh i just watched a movie with a sad ending, tho in the immortal words of dolly parton in steel magnolias, laughter thru tears is my favorite emotion :) nice shot!!!
1 Apr 2011 2:47pm
Ahaahha ! Two wheels are general better, yes indeed. ;-)))))))))))))))
1 Apr 2011 2:50pm
Hilarious combination:-))))
Lilly's brother did not lock both wheels...next time he will:-DDDDDD
1 Apr 2011 2:51pm
What a great and tragic find! At least he doesn't have far to go! Excellent capture!
1 Apr 2011 2:57pm
Oh dear what a bad dream come true!!! But I'm sure you could get a discount from that "Two Wheels Good"!:-) Best of luck!
1 Apr 2011 3:42pm
two better than none! sure :D amazing occasion of fun photography : )
1 Apr 2011 5:13pm
Oops, I guess someone didn't read and heed the sign.
1 Apr 2011 5:21pm
Holy juxtaposition, Bat Man! - this is fine! A 'Joker' episode, perhaps. A 'tip-o-the-hat' to your sharp eye.
1 Apr 2011 5:23pm
@Stephen Phillips: ha ha . . thanks, Stephen . . have a good weekend.
There is an overwhelming attraction for non pollutant means of transportation.

Have a great weekend, Marie. (L&R)
Hmmm....... me thinks that that is the work of the bike specialist. Stealing the wheels so they only have to cross the road for new ones....! Jolly good stuff, have a good weekend R&L.
1 Apr 2011 8:24pm
@Michael: Could look that way . . although the road is 4,000 miles wide and they might mount that as a defense ! (Ronnie)
@Iris: Thanks, Iris - enjoy the weekend.
Love the picture, Ronnie. Kind of a before and after.
1 Apr 2011 9:50pm
Two wheels ... A great find. It is all a package ... Love it. :)
2 Apr 2011 1:11am
Poor bike with no wheels. Love the shop's sign, lol.
2 Apr 2011 5:40am
@Zing: I'll tell a secret. I researched the name just for this posting and traveled across London to take the shot . . only to find the storefront was being repainted and the name was gone ! Had to import the sign from their website ! The things we do for 'art' ! (Ronnie)
A fabulous image...so well taken. Your non-sense makes sense.
I never tyre of Grouser's poetry either... it is a natural fit. :-)
2 Apr 2011 6:38am
@DULCIE: Thank you and, yes, on Grouser ! Enjoy the weekend.
Il n'aura pas loin pour aller en réparation ! Je te souhaite une agréable journée

2 Apr 2011 9:11am
I have to admit, that often I don't understand your humor (I must really be dumb). But, I get this one! Terrific!
2 Apr 2011 11:03am
@Craig: Appreciated, Craig - these postings have a way of coming at people is all kinda ways - many of which we likely have not even thought of ourselves ! Enjoy the weekend. (L&R)
Now how perfect is that shot? {Even if you had to manipulate it.) How convenient to have the handles on the light post. I read your answer to Zing-you went there for the sign, but it was gone, but the bike was there without the wheels?
2 Apr 2011 11:49am
@Julie Brown: Oh, no . . . all our postings here are made from TWO separate images - sometimes up to 4,000 miles apart ! The bike frame was nowhere near the shop ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
@skizo: . . and thank you for your Comment. Welcome to OurTwoSense ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
That would be a disturbing shock to come back to your bike in that condition. Fine shot and saying to accompany it.
2 Apr 2011 2:51pm
Two Sense, Two Wheels, I suspect a sleek marketing ploy staged here.
Either way a stationary bike is just what I needed for a workout. How did you know I would want red.
The cyclehoop has nice curb appeal, but I wonder has anyone become stuck in one yet?
Oh and of course, I did check out the two wheels good website. You raise my curiosity on everything you two do.
2 Apr 2011 4:22pm
@Barbara: Glad to know you are keeping an eye on us, Barbara . . the look on my face when I saw the store name was painted out would have made a posting in itself ! (Ronnie)
Not great for driving without wheel and more without sele is even worse:)) Nice evening.
2 Apr 2011 4:35pm
That's a totally crazy situation you created here... Something like this can be found only in... real life, maybe? :D
3 Apr 2011 5:24am
@Vaido: ha ha . . well put, Vaido ! Enjoy Sunday. (L&R)
@Shaahin Bahremand: Eating donuts like they do everywhere, I bet ! (Ronnie)
Car salesmen are stealing the bike tires.
3 Apr 2011 9:44am
@Mike Baker: Now, that could be a line of inquiry ! (Ronnie)
I bet the shop borrowed those wheels lol! great shot!
3 Apr 2011 11:58am
Looks like someone picked the wrong side of the street there...
3 Apr 2011 12:48pm
Could be any downtown block in my city, too. The invention of the wheel worked wonders for thievery. Nicely spotted shot.
3 Apr 2011 3:03pm
hahaha We locked a bike to a pole and waited in the cafe till the owner came back and how he was reacting. Beautiful memories.....
3 Apr 2011 7:32pm
did they take the training wheels too ???
4 Apr 2011 12:15am
@crash: ha ha . . yes, some thieves have no heart ! (Ronnie)
Fantastic shot and perfect comp! It IS really suspicious that they should be that special! : )!
5 Apr 2011 4:42am
Oh my. Why did the owner of the red bike bother locking it up? He could have carried the bike with him... there's hardly anything left... :)
5 Apr 2011 7:16am
:)) good and...sad find, now the red bike is looking strange with its 2 wheels gone...excellent idea with all the details in place nicely -- a wonderful great job well done!!
5 Apr 2011 3:59pm
LOVE this one! I'm a biker, and this shot says so much. Mostly about security :P
5 Apr 2011 5:42pm
Brilliant as always, great little ditty Grouser :))
7 Apr 2011 11:41am
J'aime beaucoup cet humour et la qualité de la photo !
8 Apr 2011 5:11pm
Is it really such a problem? Three bikes of mine were stolen completely, not just the wheels...
10 Apr 2011 6:28pm
fantastic... and very well observed... a brilliant shot.
