@☺ ► ƸɼiϾ ◄ ☼: That song will stay in my head all day, now like they do. Mind you, it's been there since 1979 ! (Ronnie)
You see, Lilly's practical-minded. Just push a button, Ronnie...choose one.
I'd choose the one on the upper left, and see if you hear a lion roar !!
1 Sep 2011 6:12am
@DULCIE: Isn't that lion bell a beauty ? I was sorely tempted to give it a try in the shoot ! Thanks, Dulcie and have a lovely day. (Ronnie)
Well, that's a difficult situation... Maybe you better knock :)
1 Sep 2011 6:26am
@Dgs: Thank you - and welcome to OurTwoSense ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
love the detail, I guess everyone else will have to find street parking
1 Sep 2011 6:37am
How about the lion one? I have never seen that one!
1 Sep 2011 7:14am
@tyan: Cool, huh ? I like that one. (Ronnie)
There is a bell for every status. Not the same for parking. In other words, some are more equal.
1 Sep 2011 7:24am
@António Pires: This is very true!! Great comment! (from Lilly)
what a beautiful collection of bells
1 Sep 2011 8:04am

1 Sep 2011 8:07am

1 Sep 2011 11:24am
Gute Details und gute Schärfe.
1 Sep 2011 11:27am
Well that presses all the buttons and chimes in with my thinking. Ram a lam a ding dong, I got the bell bottom blues
1 Sep 2011 11:49am
To be sure, I'd press on the four ring at the same time. Success is guaranteed.
1 Sep 2011 12:01pm
Now this here song it ain't so bad
Prettiest little song that you ever had
And those of you who will not sing
must be playing with your on Ding-a-ling
1 Sep 2011 12:04pm
Oh Lily ... sometimes you really give Ronnie a hard time. Ronnie push all of them - it would be quite fun ^^
1 Sep 2011 12:05pm
@kitty: I have to keep him on his toes!! (from Lilly)
Ronnie - the one in the top right looks like an eye that has you under surveillance. Hurry up and push one of the other buttons!
1 Sep 2011 12:18pm
For some reason the old line from the Rowan & Martin Laugh In show ``ring my chimes`` jumped into my mind! A wonderful flashback! Well seen and captured! ;-)
Discrimination everywhere ! ;-)))
1 Sep 2011 12:28pm
Perhaps the one on the lower right would be for me...I have a feeling pressing that one would result in the playing of "I wanna Marry You Bill" by the Fifth Dimension.......Not that I want to marry Bill, please understand, it's just a referential remark...sort of like "For Whom the Bell Tolls," or "Bats in the Belfry"(sic) I better stop now while I'm behind!
1 Sep 2011 12:31pm
PS - er, that would be "Wedding Bell Blues" wouldn't it?....Please just delete all of my comments for today...sorry!
1 Sep 2011 12:33pm
I would want to ring all these bells, just love them
1 Sep 2011 12:46pm
@Christine: . . ring-a-ding-ding !
Ha ha... "You can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell; you can ring my be-e-ell, ring my bell..." What an amazing find!!! This is utterly intriguing but also full of fun!:-) Well, I'm a conservative guy, so I'll just choose to "press"!
1 Sep 2011 12:48pm

1 Sep 2011 3:18pm
@Tracy: They cannot hear you, Tracy . . there's a bell ringing ! (Ronnie)
Seems complicated and this strange lion (?) seems very sad! In any case, really nice as always
1 Sep 2011 6:24pm
Oh dear I can never make my mind up, this one or that one, what happens if it's the wrong one, I could be arrested. Guess I'll take a taxi to be safe. Thanks for the dilemma !
1 Sep 2011 6:29pm
I would ring all of them ;-)
1 Sep 2011 6:36pm
@Richard Geven: Yes, that would be the shortest circuit ! (Electric Ronnie)

1 Sep 2011 6:55pm
too good AAAAAAAAAA+++++++
1 Sep 2011 6:59pm
oh yes, indecision is an awful thing (as charlie brown used to say ... ;-))
1 Sep 2011 7:31pm
Ding-dong! But what's a "bell staff" anyway - is this a hotel staff thing?
1 Sep 2011 7:45pm
the bell staff has a nice collection of ringers!!!
1 Sep 2011 8:19pm
Ha ha - choices choices:)

1 Sep 2011 10:04pm
They definitely need a bell staff with all those buzzers. My favorite is the lion. Beautiful detail and clarity. This is great!
1 Sep 2011 10:41pm
@Elaine Hancock: Yes, that lion bell-push is a treasure. Have a lovely weekend, Elaine and thanks for the Comments. (Lilly and Ronnie)
As usual, very clever!!
2 Sep 2011 1:08am
Interesting collection....never saw such beautiful switches...thanks for sharing.
2 Sep 2011 7:19am
Superb composition of this beautiful collection !
2 Sep 2011 8:55am
Amazing scene you've found here, clearly the fact that the bays have not been marked is causing confusion. The absence of double yellow lines must also confound.
2 Sep 2011 9:39am
@Curly: You are right there on both counts, Curly. I must remember that when I'm up before the Beak. (Ronnie 237149 )
The other bells are just supporting players next to the lion bell.
2 Sep 2011 9:53am
@Julie L. Brown: Yes, isn't that a beauty ?! I asked the owner if she was worried it might get stolen and she have me a l o n g look - presumably so she could give the police a good description . . lol . . (No Name Given)
I'm not sure about the words :) I'll ring and ask!
2 Sep 2011 10:11am
love the lion bell! with all the comments, he's clearly the star of the show
2 Sep 2011 10:42am
@marci: Isn't it a beauty ? I was tempted to press it and see if it roared ! (Ronnie)
I would choose the lion bell myself.
2 Sep 2011 11:37am

2 Sep 2011 1:37pm

2 Sep 2011 3:12pm

2 Sep 2011 3:53pm
@L'Angevine: Oui, il est tentant! Avoir un beau week-end ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
Beautiful composition. Wonderful collection of bells. Lion bell would be a better choice, Ronnie. :)
2 Sep 2011 5:09pm
Love the warm colors and reflections off those brass doorbells. Somehow I am reminded of Anita Ward's song from the late 1970's. ;-)
2 Sep 2011 5:35pm
@Steven: I don't like to admit it but that song still sounds pretty good to me, Steven ! (Ronnie)
what a lovely bell'scollection. Does each play a different note? It would be funny to play a bell score.
2 Sep 2011 8:39pm
This is one of your images which looks like it was originally one image, not two images put together. That was one of the magical qualities that first attracted me to Our Two Sense--sort of like those optical illusions in which now you see a profile, now two vases. Especially love those gorgeous doorbells, nothing like the plastic one I have.
2 Sep 2011 9:23pm
Good evening, Lilly and Ronnie
a good sign for the doorbell buttons. The lion's head is very valuable. This bell would have to shout loudly at the press. It would be frighteningly funny. The bell, right, looks like a speaker. It reminds me of the song ring my bell, Anita Word. I own this LP for many years. The doorbell button, bottom left, looks like a golf ball. There is caution in the press. It could fly hidden golf balls around the ears. The doorbell button, bottom right
looks, indefinable. It is the surprise effect bell. Let yourself be surprised. It stimulated my imagination, if the sign would not exist. I wonder why so many different doorbells? Everything has a sense or nonsense in life.
Have a nice time, all the best and health. Dear greetings from Christel
2 Sep 2011 10:03pm

3 Sep 2011 3:04pm
"Press" is just too obvious, so I hope you didn't go for that one first!
3 Sep 2011 4:18pm
@Rick: I went for the one set in the wall and painted around - less chance of that being 'fake', I thought ! (Cautious Ronnie)
Such a selection of bell buttons. Cool!
3 Sep 2011 8:55pm
choices, choices, choices - which one do we press first! this is ASTOUNDING!
3 Sep 2011 10:57pm

We live in the midst of social discrimination ... You have good reason to stimulate your mind ... Very good! A hug, Adela
4 Sep 2011 10:43am
@Adela Fonts: So true, Adela. I have been turned away at palace and soup-kitchen. (Excluded Ronnie)
