Loukas from Athens and Thessaloniki, GreeceWho was the first victim Ronnie? Nice composition! 16 Apr 2012 5:09am Nicou from Sion, SwitzerlandEn tout cas on peut pas se treomper superbe cette flèche jaune dans ce décor urbain plongeant. 16 Apr 2012 5:33am @Nicou: "plongeant" . . sweet word ! Passez une bonne semaine, Nicou. (Ronnie) Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandThat will be a nice surprise for the people in that cabriolet double decker :) Great merging of the photo's! The depth in the photo gave me the creeps! 16 Apr 2012 5:35am @Monique: "cabriolet double decker" - what a lovely way of describing it - we'd call it an 'open-top bus' but I like your wording much better ! Have a happy week, Monique ! (Ronnie) Doug from Burnham-on-Sea, United KingdomHopefully people don't follow your signs as blindly as they follow sat-navs Ronnie, poor Lilly you keep giving her worries ! 16 Apr 2012 6:26am @Doug: She has so much to thank me for she does not know where to begin. I'm still waiting, in fact. (Ronnie) Keep holding your breath, Ronnie. (from Lilly) CElliottUK from Reading, United KingdomI think the typeface is the give away here. Much beloved by arms manufacturers, dynamite boxes, signs to death rows, anti-nuclear demonstrators, and even the logo on the "A-Team" have one theme-do this and die. 16 Apr 2012 7:01am @CElliottUK: Right on, Bro . . the ID label on my crib was in the self-same script, Chris. (Ronnie) Christine from Ellemford, United KingdomWow, brilliantly put together, I can feel myself falling over the edge 16 Apr 2012 7:15am PRASHANT from Mumbai, IndiaAfter long time you change the style of merging images....great presentation. 16 Apr 2012 7:21am Riccardo from Rome, ItalyGreat composition.... I like the passage in the different shots! 16 Apr 2012 7:31am Ellebelle from Medemblik, NetherlandsI'm afraid your signs will cause a lot of accidents and trouble!! 16 Apr 2012 8:07am Punit from Pune, IndiaI like the merging of the photos here. 16 Apr 2012 8:20am @Punit: Thanks, Punit. We were not sure this would work convincingly enough but it was better than we expected ! (Ronnie) Benkirane Thami from Fès, MoroccoSi on suit la flèche, ce sera un accident annoncé ! Ou comment finir sous les roues d'un autocar à étage! 16 Apr 2012 9:05am @Benkirane Thami: Options, options . . (Ronnie) Tede from Aubenas 07, FranceAn image overlay very successful, splendid composition. Good day. 16 Apr 2012 9:08am Tamara from Aarschot, BelgiumBrilliant composition, the colors are great too... Have a lovely day :) 16 Apr 2012 9:17am @Tamara: Thanks, Tamara - stay safe out there ! (Ronnie) Sterre from Utrecht, NetherlandsBeautiful composition and colors. 16 Apr 2012 9:32am Martine from bousval, BelgiumCoucou!! très belle at composition et super cette signalisation!!! 16 Apr 2012 9:34am @Martine: Merci - profiter de la semaine ! (L&R) António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalEven photos can be misleading. Left driving, buses that look Londoner, but a Mediterranean sunshine. 16 Apr 2012 9:36am @António Pires: Well, we sort of perfected the driving on the left but that Mediterranean sunshine still eludes us ! (Ronnie) Curly from South Shields, United KingdomRonnie : Oh, trust in it, Lilly - why, I've written some of it myself 16 Apr 2012 10:01am @Curly: ha ha . . no, sir, I was on the other side - building stuff the Councils tried to stop . . . "Please Do Not Enter ; we have no insurance" kinda thing ! (Ronnie) @Kat: Onward, jamais avant ! (Ronnie) Steven from Chicagoland, United StatesI see what Lilly is referring to when I see a lane labeled "Buses Only" and there's a bicycle painted below it. :-| I love that overhead view. 16 Apr 2012 1:12pm Photographs by M.E. from San Francisco, United StatesBravo on how you super-imposed this one! I like how the "use walkway" looms over the double deckers... is the signage yours, Ronnie? lol! 16 Apr 2012 1:14pm @Photographs by M.E.: smiles, Maria . . no, this one is not mine ! (Ronnie Smiling) ❀ Yvonne Simons ❀ from Tilburg, NetherlandsI'm feeling like i'm falling down, great job! 16 Apr 2012 1:31pm franz from Baden, Austriasplendid image once again! but dear chap, whatever did you do to 'earn' this degree of trust ... ?!? ;-)) 16 Apr 2012 3:01pm @franz: I'm sure I am much misunderstood . . even Arlo feels sorry for me ! (Ronnie) Don from United StatesA very funny dialogue to go with this high-in-the-sky shot. 16 Apr 2012 3:17pm @Don: High pie in the sky with Ronnie, Don ! Thanks for being with us. (from Lilly) El pare from Prepirineu, AndorraRonnie, in my town has a vacancy for redesigning the traffic. You may want it?. 16 Apr 2012 5:47pm @El pare: hee hee . . I can handle only one disaster at a time, El Pare ! But my first move would be to get you driving on the Left ! (Ronnie-on-the-Left) Eric Cousineau from Sherwood Park, CanadaAny time I hear a government employee utter the words "Trust Me" my sphincter starts to clench and I rush to put my back against the wall! Well done Ronnie! ;-)) 16 Apr 2012 6:05pm @Eric Cousineau: Yes, indeed - the fact they feel it necessary to plead that says it all ! (Ronnie) Veronique from France, Switzerlanddidn't get this one :-) I'll do better next time 16 Apr 2012 7:45pm @Veronique: Pas de problème, Véronique. . vos propres aujourd'hui affichage est un plaisir pétillant et subtile, hafta dire Elaine Hancock from Rockville, United StatesI am with Lilly! That "use walkway" gives me the creeps. Reminds me of the writing on ammo boxes and other such stuff. And what is with the buses and bicycles in the same lane. I am wondering who they are trying to kill! Great image! 16 Apr 2012 8:10pm @Elaine Hancock: You have spotted a lethal conflict in our highway arrangements there, Elaine . . and there are statistics to prove it, sadly. (Ronnie) curieuzeneuzemosterdpot from somewhere between viewer and subject, BelgiumI love the way these photo's have been merged. I think I also understand lily's worries. ;-)) 16 Apr 2012 9:00pm Dokmateo from Manila, PhilippinesGreat job on the mixing...excellent depth! Beautiful composition! I miss riding on a double decker..especially sitting in front of the upper deck! 16 Apr 2012 11:03pm @Dokmateo: I rarely ride them myself these days, D . . but, like most things, a bus ride is not what a bus ride used to be ! (Ronnie Reminiscing) @Steve Rice: Rest and peace is not something that comes from knowing Ronnie and ARLO, Steve. Believe me. (from Lilly) B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United StatesI hate to say it, Lilly, but I think Ronnie is about to throw you under the bus! 17 Apr 2012 4:02am @B. Thomas: Hold tight, please - ding-ding ! (You hafta be old and English to understand that . . toothless smiles from Ronnie) @Manola: We try!! (Lilly and Ronnie) Bettina from Los Angeles, United StatesA dizzying height for that walkway. I would use the elevator instead! 17 Apr 2012 4:36am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaLook at that bus load of people....this is an accident waiting to happen, I am sure of it. 17 Apr 2012 4:39am @bluechameleon: And we thought all the danger was up here in the heavens ! Just like us to put ourselves first - never thought we might fall on anyone ! (L&R) Sam from Chennai, IndiaBrilliant composition. Love the merging of photos. Wonderful colours. (Ronnie) Hanry from Castricum, NetherlandsVery nice two pictures in a mapped, I think the double bottom of it very well found. Well done. 17 Apr 2012 9:41am kiwisa from North Shore, New ZealandI agree with you Lilly - be worried, be very very worried. :)) 17 Apr 2012 10:27am @kiwisa: I usually am!! (from Lilly) RBL from Oxford, United StatesGreat images and humor, I think I've seen the buses and bike lane like this somewhere before, haha. Love the cross light in Lily's photo ~ very beautiful, love Ronnie's perspective of the street scene too :) 17 Apr 2012 5:40pm Adela Fonts from Barcelona, SpainVery, very good ... Ronnie...! I laughed at ease ... Today I "caught" while the irony ... A cool mood that excites me. I am familiar with this maner of a dialogue between a couple ...Tell Lilly than evil thought! I love the presentation! Very good artist! A hug, Adela 17 Apr 2012 5:41pm @Adela Fonts: Hugs, Adela . . always pleases us to hear the laughter from afar ! (L&R) Don Levesque from Saint John, CanadaWOW! Superb composition! Love how your signage blends in to the openness of the street. Talk about bringing on vertigo. Well done! 17 Apr 2012 6:16pm Thea from Leeuwarden, NetherlandsI love this view on the blue bus and the little figures in it,can only pray they survived.. 17 Apr 2012 7:18pm @Thea: Thank you, Thea, you are very kind. I like the word 'mangled' ! (Ronnie) Magda from Vancouver, CanadaFantastic work! I need to come back when I have some 'free' time to really enjoy your work!! I love to go over all of the comments and pick on all the details in your images - that needs some time ;) Maybe on the weekend I will grab a coffee and sit down in my chair and have some 'quality' time with Lilly and Ronnie! :) I missed seeing your posts so much! Hope you are doing well. 18 Apr 2012 7:22am @Magda: That Comment paints a sweet picture in itself, Magda ! Lilly and I often go back over the 'old' stuff and surprise ourselves by not being able to remember how some of it happened ! Enjoy. @Jypyä Pop: Yes, I was atop The Monument when I took my part of the shot. (Ronnie) Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceLike the way you put the 2 shots together here and the light on the road sign, well done ! 18 Apr 2012 8:42am @Patricia (✿◠‿◠)❤: Thank you . . neither of us can remember how this one happened looking back ! (Ronnie) hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongAbsolutely fautless blend of the two images and powerful interplay of yellow and red! The big city impression is being expressed in vigor and a rare sense of humor! Just another classic! 18 Apr 2012 3:05pm @hugo poon: Thanks, Hugo - really like your posting today ! (Ronnie) Marie from George, South AfricaHaha this is great! Speaking of which - I am just intrigued by the bicycle sign in the "Buses only" lane? 18 Apr 2012 4:23pm @Marie: Well, like most Laws, it all became rather complicated because you could cycle in a bus lane unless it was a 'buses only' bus lane . . I think, this has been relaxed to allow cycles - and motorcycles - in all bus lanes . . but please don't quote me in court ! My image used here was taken a couple of years ago, too ! (Ronnie) ripple from Nottingham, United Kingdombeautiful light on that Use Walkway signage, and perspective on london streets- the two of you make a fantastic team. 20 Apr 2012 6:27am @ripple: The two images used here were, of course, totally unrelated but even I was surprised how the mind accepted the pairing . . thanks, Ripple. (Ronnie) Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanWell...Ronnie...IF Lilly is that worried...I'll start worrying, too! 20 Apr 2012 10:29am Anita from West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United StatesYikes!
