Ronnie : Equipment failure here opening a can of soup - calling an emergency number for advice.

@Michael Fresh: Mike, Goddess, above, had me researching this can opener and I found it was made by a guy name of Hans Erich Slany. Apparently, 'we' held him PoW during WW2 so it is no surprise the thing broke when I applied English muscle to it. And, now, my car won't start, either - yup, you guessed it ! I love the idea of the blog - to mix pictures and dialogue between Lilly and Ronnie who are far from one another ! ( I have seen one picture : Lilly in the snow and Ronnie in spring ) and it's always expressive and artistic and full of humor !
