Ronnie : Oh, yes, please . . I’ll swap with a fresh-baked Blueberry Muffin.

11 Jan 2009 12:05pm
I would usually take the home made dessert over the store bought, but not sure if you consider items that are burned!!!
11 Jan 2009 1:47pm
very very funny
11 Jan 2009 2:15pm
ooops! note to file: the smoke detector is not a kitchen timer. best...jerry
11 Jan 2009 4:39pm
Funny one, as usual.
11 Jan 2009 5:05pm
This is an awesome composition. Really well done. As always good for a chuckle!
11 Jan 2009 5:10pm
Ronnie, it's a muffin, not a joss stick!
11 Jan 2009 5:19pm
The processing of muffins by photoshop seems too hot. On the other hand (left) the chocolate fudge cake doesn't stimulate appetite.
11 Jan 2009 5:33pm
what a wonderful mix! :)
11 Jan 2009 6:00pm
very nice combination of images
11 Jan 2009 6:23pm

11 Jan 2009 11:21pm
Oooh, I love blueberry muffins. I'll take the one on the far right. Dont' care for burnt food. Lucky for me, my hubby will eat anything I cook (or burn!).
12 Jan 2009 12:22am
That Lilly is getting far too demanding hehehe
12 Jan 2009 4:20am
That Google is just too powerful there even making cakes now, what's next control of the wheat, egg, and milk market?
12 Jan 2009 4:23am
LOL ... Ronnie knows what he's giving away ;) Did he really bake them himself? I wouldn't swap if I were you Lilly. I can't figure it out, but do they print all the ingredients on the receipt?!
12 Jan 2009 5:28am
@Monique: (from Lilly)
Yes, they really do print the ingredients on the receipt. It's a store made cake, not shipped..so I guess they just print all the information on one tag!
And what's wrong with a crispy muffin?
I just love the banter...and of course this is oh-so creative!
12 Jan 2009 5:47am
And can I have an expresso ?
What else (to be happy !) ? ;-)
12 Jan 2009 9:27am
Don't have much to say, but I am still enjoying.
12 Jan 2009 10:33am
You know what they say
A highbake muffin in the hand is better than fudge cake for two on the screen
especially as cocoa appears to be the last ingredient

Super image(s). I actually quite like a little bit of burnt bits on top of my muffins, as long as there's no fire extinguisher taste to them.
12 Jan 2009 12:19pm
haha..i'll choose the chocolate fudge cake!:)
12 Jan 2009 12:23pm
ok i change my mind after looking closer.I'll take the muffins, the real thing!:)
12 Jan 2009 12:24pm
Funny! And an excellent photo composite (as always).
12 Jan 2009 1:06pm
What a laugh I had with the caption after getting my eyes off of the word chocolate. It is addicting you know and blueberries are better for you... if they are not on fire! You definitely kept it real with the smoke trail.
I marvel at this creative idea. 50 stars, yes 50!
12 Jan 2009 4:14pm
Great set of images combined, lovely colours
12 Jan 2009 5:25pm

14 Jan 2009 3:11am
No contest! Who would take a blueberry muffin, burned, raw or perfectly baked -- over a chocolate cake? You guys are getting too far into fantasy now! :-)
14 Jan 2009 6:24am
Enjoying this exchange, outstanding.
14 Jan 2009 6:32am
yes, that muffin does look a little 'toasty'... i'd pass too!
14 Jan 2009 10:10am
Uh oh...stay away from the oven! That is how I am...always mooching off neighbors who are great bakers. Me? I am a break-apart-Pillsbury-cookie kind of baker. ;0)
14 Jan 2009 12:52pm
Remind me to not have my muffin made by you two... otherwise it would be burnt :)
14 Jan 2009 2:31pm
So simple and so good image. It more or less our common view some hours in front of the screen, but it looks as extraordinary.
14 Jan 2009 7:11pm
14 Jan 2009 9:32pm
Ronnie... that's a fire hazard, go get some cookery lessons from Lilly.
14 Jan 2009 11:36pm
OK. May I have that one that’s still on fire? ;)
14 Jan 2009 11:40pm
Hey L&R..what a good idea to bring the King Alfred story bang up-to-date..
15 Jan 2009 12:11am
Fun! The computer screen almost looks like a microwave from here.
15 Jan 2009 1:10am
Very funny, personally I like the slightly charcoaled muffins

I'll have those muffins thank you! Nice work.
