Lilly : That looks an expensive place to have a trim, Ronnie.
Ronnie : Yes, I might just get the basic for $65.
Lilly : I know a place where you can get worming and nail clipping, too, at that price !

Didn't you get this images reversed today? : ] best...jerry
4 Jun 2009 6:45pm
There are so many things I find amusing about this...but surprisingly, the pink and green tables and chairs are at the top of that list. Why? Why pink and green? Why are they there at all?
4 Jun 2009 7:14pm
great image, nice one
4 Jun 2009 8:07pm
LOL! How fun! Love it!
4 Jun 2009 8:13pm
A lovely place
4 Jun 2009 8:17pm
great shot, the dog and the owner get a haircut at the same time
4 Jun 2009 9:10pm
Love the clean look and beautiful various colors. Excellent capture of this appealing place. Great frame and composition.
5 Jun 2009 1:46am
LOL very funny!!!!
5 Jun 2009 3:03am
Very funny and I see the dog grooming salon is already close, so Ronnie has no choice ... lucky guy! :)
5 Jun 2009 3:15am
Terrific colors in this composition, and I like the reversal of usual terms, using grooming for people and salon for dogs. Well done

Another masterpiece. Didn't realise Lilly had such a mean streak in her, Ronnie (and don't tell her I said that, please!). Regarding Sylvia's question above, I think one can get served meat pies there as well :)
5 Jun 2009 7:01am
At those prices I'd go for the shaggy. unkempt look and self medicate
5 Jun 2009 10:18am
Hahahaha... at least you will look dapper at a more reasonable price :)
5 Jun 2009 11:26am
I don't spend 65 dollars a year on my hair! But dogs; probably!
5 Jun 2009 11:41am
You could buy the clippers for $65! But then, if you only get your hair cut every other year I guess your OK. Love Lilly's sense of humor in this one!
5 Jun 2009 12:06pm
I wonder if the men's place would scratch your tummy while they cut your hair for that much?! This looks like it could be a scene from any city street around here.
5 Jun 2009 12:33pm
65$? No it's too expensive for me lol
5 Jun 2009 1:54pm
nice composite...as usual. NECCO? isn't that a candy wafer?
5 Jun 2009 3:23pm
(from Ronnie) Yes ! I learned this only yesterday after we posted . . I also found that Necco (the candy maker) sponsor dog and cat shows so the OurTwosense circle is even more rounded than I had ever imagined. Thanks for the the Comment. Ken
Excellent combo... $65? -- I can buy a pair of scissors for 99 cents...
5 Jun 2009 6:12pm
Too, too funny! You two are great together.
5 Jun 2009 7:31pm
this is very funny - and I know plenty of people that would spend more on their dog's than I do on a haircut!!! I hope that deworming isn't too hard on you Ronnie!!
5 Jun 2009 7:57pm
...more connections: neko is Japanese for 'cat'...
5 Jun 2009 8:32pm
Go for the worming and nail clip, Ronnie.
5 Jun 2009 9:26pm
On the left there is a dog care salon but on the right is it an hair salon? The tables and chairs outside fit more for a candy store as you mentionned in your comment. Well, I just check my dictionnary about the meaning of "grooming"...
5 Jun 2009 11:44pm
(from Ronnie) Thanks, Akarui. Like so many everyday English words, it has been hijacked to mean something unpleasant but, in this context, I’m sure it is just a fancy haircut ! At my haircutters nearby, they speak only Greek . . and charge me $15.
Go for the canine version, more for your money. MAybe.... if you are good you get a treat at the end!

What a laugh! What a thought I had when I saw this. Just thinking about men, dogs and the worming Lilly mentioned.
Think twice at the price, I hear having a pampered pooch isn't a bargain either.
I've really missed your humor since I was on a break.
Great stuff as always.

6 Jun 2009 5:26am
go for the doggy - you're just paying for the colorful lawn furniture at Necco!
6 Jun 2009 5:27am
hehehehe one of your best I love it
6 Jun 2009 6:54am
@jamesy: Thanks, Debbie . . we enjoyed making this one fit together !
very nice capture
6 Jun 2009 2:00pm
nice, male grooming - is that for humans or pets?
6 Jun 2009 4:15pm
I`m still laughing!
6 Jun 2009 5:57pm
very nice and funny.
It is also funny that in france also a cheap hear-dresser is called a dog-shearer (not sure for the translation that is word to word).
6 Jun 2009 6:38pm
Lol... closed ??? poor dogs...
Funny and good montage, as usual. I like the flashy colors of the tables and chairs...
6 Jun 2009 7:55pm
like in a movie
7 Jun 2009 6:08am
What a cool shot and a good eye spotting these 'salons' side by side. The oddities that life shows us sometimes.
The colour is fantastic, and I agree with kerfendal, it does seem like a scene from a movie.

Fantastic job putting these two images together. The building look like they are built that way, side by side. Truly excellent work.
11 Jun 2009 11:44pm
Ha, ha, ha!!! A classic from you two. Beautiful presentation, also. (I'd forget about that offer on the worming, if I were you, Ronnie.)
14 Jun 2009 12:12am
i guess you pay for the experience, it might be expensive, but you pay for the whole thing, the image of the salon, the simpathy, the treatment, i think at least once in our life we should cut our head in a place like that, just for the experience.
