Are you on a diet Lilly? You don't appear to have eaten anything since last year.

Move the coffee to the NEC. best...jerry
5 Sep 2009 3:06pm
I'd suggest moving the Bailey's into the emergency cabinet! I like the comparison of the old image with this new one. Somebody got organized (and maybe a little paranoid?)
5 Sep 2009 3:11pm
you made me hungry in two seconds :)
5 Sep 2009 4:36pm
Ronnie, do you know more than the rest of us?!
5 Sep 2009 8:47pm
glad you got something in your cabinet Ronnie - but hope you never have to use it!!
5 Sep 2009 10:05pm
Oh, I do remember that capboard very well!
6 Sep 2009 1:16am
I hope you won't have any emergency case Ronnie. Well Lilly's part has not changed in 1 year...
6 Sep 2009 7:20am
Excellent , comparing the 2 shots, how time passes through our daily stuff too :) Great !
6 Sep 2009 8:10am
Funny, JUst think of all of the preservatives in those cabinets! You might survie the emergency but perish later form the side effects of the food!
6 Sep 2009 12:35pm
Love the timely Swine Flu info. Of course I think I'd sooner starve than eat steak and kidney pie and sardines!
6 Sep 2009 7:09pm
@jeff (aka dogilicious): . . well, now you mention it . . .
I've got a flashlight just like that one. Thought I guess over there it would be a torch.
6 Sep 2009 7:28pm
(from Ronnie) I bet you always turn the switch the wrong way just like I do, then !
very organized, Ronnie!
6 Sep 2009 8:27pm
I'll chose to hunker down with Lilly, if you don't mind...
6 Sep 2009 9:12pm
It makes me want to go get an emergency kit. I don't have one. Not good. Perfect shot! : )
6 Sep 2009 9:28pm
They say you are supposed to check the expiry dates on food stuff in your emergency supply.
7 Sep 2009 6:13am
Just saw the Baileys. Everything will be fine.
Perhaps just keeping the pie over the torch for a few hours ....? Maybe? :-)
7 Sep 2009 6:16am
hehehe good point Lily
7 Sep 2009 7:06am
Food for thought!
7 Sep 2009 11:40am
Steak and kidney pie? Thanks, I'll have the fish and chips!
7 Sep 2009 12:29pm
Reminds me of a WWII secret bunker museum I visited once... provisions stockpiled in case of air raid or nuclear attack. I guess swine flu is not quite in the same league...
7 Sep 2009 12:31pm
I agree with Jeff. I'd have to be starving to death to heat Cake & Sidney Pie! :(
7 Sep 2009 12:51pm
I love the first comment :-))
7 Sep 2009 1:24pm
this cupboard reminds me of mine, before war started in my country :)) Cool !!!
7 Sep 2009 3:08pm
Now I'm thinking if I should also create a NEC. Lilly's question has relevance. If I decide to create my GNE I will have regard to the products and tools that are missing in yours. Nice solidary post.
7 Sep 2009 3:37pm
I was thinking the same as GJC ... use the torch! At least it looks a bit better in R.'s cupboard than last time with that lonely tin of peas ;) and I hope the emergency doesn't take longer than one day else you'll be starving and Lilly is better of (food wise I mean ;) )
7 Sep 2009 4:04pm
Like a very small grocery store :-)
7 Sep 2009 4:33pm
7 Sep 2009 6:13pm
I really enjoy this and love every comment. I would never survive a day eating sardines or steak and kidney pie. I would last as long as the coffee does.
I like the comparison between this and the 2008 post. You've become more organized Ronnie.
8 Sep 2009 12:07am
Que bien ordenado esta todo, cada cosa en su sitio.
8 Sep 2009 3:33am
I think in an emergency, I'll still be reaching for something from Lilly's cupboard. ;-)
A steak and kidney pie?? I think I'll settle for the Cheese Whiz. A cute capture, nonetheless.
8 Sep 2009 3:35am
Is that Easy Cheese sitting pretty next to Nutella? Nice work you two! Love following your images and commentaries. :)

would be a wonderful and realistic poster
8 Sep 2009 7:15am
Do you want that Starbucks coffee? :P If not, send it my way.
8 Sep 2009 2:56pm
8 Sep 2009 7:48pm
I hope Lilly will share some food with you in case of an emergency, Ronnie. You can bring the light.
8 Sep 2009 8:32pm
All those little candles, set alight at once, might cook something. Or not. You two made me laugh again.
8 Sep 2009 9:22pm
Always good to be prepared, very well organized. Like the framing of this shot along with the interesting arrangement.
9 Sep 2009 2:00am
No one should even EAT a canned steak and kidney pie so there you go...problem solved! :) Love this shot...it was my first thought--looks like someone is stockpiling for Y2K!
14 Sep 2009 12:20am
@Claudia: 'Y2K' . . wow, how time flies !!
Fascinating comparison! Excellent idea and presentation, as always.
14 Sep 2009 3:25am
I guess you will be leaving the canned pie on the right a long time.
19 Sep 2009 2:11am
@Rabbit: ha ha . . smiles for Rabbit . . the expiry date on it is Nov 2010 so I must have the emergency before then !
