[Bebe : What happened, Arlo ? Did you find a way out ?]
Arlo : Not sure yet - but, yes, I can see people looking.
[Bebe : Oh, no . . I can't let them see me like this - is my make-up still there topside ?.]

@Tamara Tantrum: "Tamara ! I've missed you !" (Arlo)
Hey, Arlo, now you ruined my monitor! Climb back, please!

You've made a real break through, Arlo.
Now let me paint you a happy face with curly hair.
Absolutely genius presentation. I like how the white blends right into the page. The little paints are very appealing, I just want to dip that brush in the red can.

@Barbara: Yes, there are lots of goodies in this one . . these 'blends' with the background are very tricky to do and I get a different effect on each of the monitors here ! Thanks, Barbara. (Ronnie)
Wildly creative and unique. You guys are on a planet of your own. A real good funny planet. :)

You better get Bebe's make-up down real soon because I would like to see her break out! :) You guys are genius, another perfect merger of all those different components! Great to see those two back again ;)

lovely, clear image - are you using a light tent
31 May 2010 8:07am
@M@ndy: Lilly makes these things easy and tells me she snaps stuff on her bathroom windowsill with the shower running . . but shadows are the killer with this blending concept and I used bounce flash to suppress those but a long exposure of a second @ f/32 to pick up modeling detail. Now you know why Bebe and Arlo do not appear here more often ! (Ronnie)
well done...difficult to imagine the works it gives

@grouser: (from Lilly) Ha ha. that would have been a great idea!!!
So creative, nice to see Arlo make an appearance again, its been a while

Another unique and comical composition. I love the lighting and warm wood achieved here.

Excellent lightning and composition. I would be scared of Bebe and her painting...

Ah, the dawn of wooden mankind. The eight day of creation! :-)

Good evening, Ronnie
I do not know Arlo and Bebe, and the importance of the two. But I think that Arlo could tolerate a little makeup. If he had a long nose, he would look like Pinocchio. He would be sure of anyone, anywhere, instantly recognized. Again it was very interesting and fun to your page. I am looking forward to the next. Have a nice evening and thanks for all your nice comments. Dear greetings Christel

Oh, yes, a guy's got to "put his face on.' ;-)
I love the white white background/frame...all the space around Arlo and the luscious paints !!

As a retired art teacher, I love this! ;-)

@B. Thomas: Hey, yes, I can imagine ! We find the manikins difficult to use in photography but, once a technique is developed, they can be frighteningly expressive.
Ah, girls in wood or not, make-up is make-up (for boyz too, it seems ;)
Super set-up !

AAAAH! The creature has broken through!
2 Jun 2010 11:31am
Very difficult task to accomplish! The light and tones are superb! Post editing is top notch - like always!
I bet Lilly could do some fabulous 'make-up'
