Lilly : I hope you didn't have to use that best chinaware, Ronnie . .
Ronnie : Well, we did - but Arlo cleaned up after, Lilly.
Lilly : Hmmmm . . . that sounds worrying - I hope nothing was chipped.

24 Jun 2010 6:12am
haha..... am loving it!! some one has been naughty?!!
24 Jun 2010 7:19am
Yes Lilly.. The China was not just chipped.. It was reduced to chips!! :D
24 Jun 2010 7:35am
hmmm... i don't think you can blame Arlo entirely for this one!
24 Jun 2010 7:46am
ouch, such a bad dog...
24 Jun 2010 8:24am
@yz: lol . . they charged me extra for that 'dog' by calling it a lizard ! (Ronnie)
Well, no, it doesn't look chipped. You're safe there.
24 Jun 2010 8:46am
@GJC: shared smiles . . thanks, GJC
quelle violence !
24 Jun 2010 9:13am
I'm glad to see that in keeping with the wood theme , the best china is Willow pattern.
For God's sake Ronnie don't let Arlo get out the super glue :)
24 Jun 2010 9:17am
@grouser: ha ha ha . . brilliant observations - we should take you on as a script-writer ! Thanks, Grouser. (Ronnie)
Hahaha.. I wonder how you come up with such funny ideas :) Kudos!
24 Jun 2010 9:43am
Love the thought and time you both put into your photography. A pure delight. Thanks so much for sharing it here.
24 Jun 2010 10:28am
@Mary: Thank you, Mary. These little tableau shots can be quite demanding so we are glad you like them ! (Ronnie)
I think Arlo was set up. Bad, bad Ronnie.
24 Jun 2010 11:36am
Haha, I love these daily catastrophes! :-D
24 Jun 2010 12:21pm
Arlo's attitude is SO great on the second image, Wood breathes at your place !
Knock, knock, knock on.... :)
24 Jun 2010 12:34pm
@k@: Thanks, Karine . . I noticed his 'body language' more after the shots were taken and, yes, it does carry a good sense of feeling ! (Ronnie)
Love the details - the missing leaves and the cupboard handle. I agree that there are definitely no chips! Hurry home Lilly!
24 Jun 2010 12:39pm
@jeff (aka dogilicious): Yes, this was intended to be a triptych and the leaves were more part of the series of three images . . but we found the three became too small so reverted to two. (Ronnie)
24 Jun 2010 12:47pm
I'm a bit confused, don't know if it's a dog or lizard, but either way you can't expect an animal to read that note, so blame it on Arlo (or Ronnie) :). Love all the tiny details again ... the leaves are gone and the door handle is positioned in another way, great job you two!
24 Jun 2010 2:09pm
@Monique: She's a lizard, Monique - it says so on the box she came in ! Thanks for looking so closely - appreciated. (Ronnie)
I think nothing is chipped, its way past that stage LOL
24 Jun 2010 2:11pm
you have two "enfants terribles"
24 Jun 2010 3:42pm
Hmmmm.....how will you get out of this one Arlo?
24 Jun 2010 7:18pm
yep no chips just cracks
24 Jun 2010 7:22pm
Good evening, Ronnie
It seems that before Arlo and the lizard, nothing and no one is safe. You should not let the two without supervision. I think the bowl when you put it back together, get an antique style. Glue could help, but use it with caution. You, Arlo, and the lizard might get stuck on glue. It would interest me, which hangs over the edge of the bowl down. It looks very slick and unappetizing. So, today, is chaos again, the power of three. Again it was very funny and entertaining on your blog. Five stars ***** a nice evening and all the best. I'm curious to see what happens next. Thanks for your nice comments. Dear greetings Christel
24 Jun 2010 8:19pm
@Christel: Oh, Christel, the mere mention of 'glue' in the context of Arlo and Lizzie sets my mind racing . . what a thought !! (Ronnie)
No, nothing was chipped. I don't think that dog needs a bowl. Let Arlo hand feed him. He doesn't eat wood does he?
24 Jun 2010 8:37pm
Ronnie curious work of yours ... Well prepared speech ... interesting! I use these wooden dolls for my drawings!
24 Jun 2010 8:40pm
@Fonts: Thank you - it is surprising how much 'character' can be created in the those little manikins : a reminder, perhaps of the power of 'body language' ! (Ronnie)
Its like Gilligan's Island, they will always make big mistakes and never get off. Love your series.
24 Jun 2010 9:40pm
THis is turning out to be a tragedy!
24 Jun 2010 10:44pm

Don't worry Arlo, you can buy a beautiful fake in some china shop :D
25 Jun 2010 12:59pm
@Luca Bobbiesi: "Awwww . . Mr Luca ! I can go into a china shop ?! Thank you, thank you ! " (Arlo)

25 Jun 2010 2:39pm
@tyan: ha ha . . YES ! . . and, then, I wanted to do a re-take on the first shot for some reason . . . there is a saying here about " . . burning bridges . . " You and family enjoy the weekend, Tyan. (Ronnie)
