Ha! Excellent! I love the composition and story here. You guys are great. :)

Gosh Ronnie and I thought you were a real live wire and there you are flexing your digging muscles and blowing a fuse. I trust you were well earthed at the time and have now gone to ground :)
3 Jul 2010 11:32am
@grouser: ha ha . . Grouser, you are as much part of this as we are - equally to blame ! Thanks my friend. (Ronnie)
Such creativity, hope its not your cable you dug up but the neighbors :)
3 Jul 2010 11:36am
@JJ: yeah, must be theirs . . I still got my internet conne . . @!**?
Creativity is a very good word for this!!! Love your images. Thanks for the giggle this morning. ; )
3 Jul 2010 11:41am
You are so funny - and so is Grouser!
3 Jul 2010 1:39pm
@B. Thomas: Yeah, that Grouser sure has a way with words - we owe him a lot on here. Thanks, Barbara.
I think I want one of those "plants." High voltage, low maintenance.
3 Jul 2010 2:05pm
Looks like something just went fizzle, not to worry, the sweet scent of the Night stock will please your neighbours. Maybe you should think about a satellite connection.
3 Jul 2010 2:38pm
Perhaps the call would have been more believable if Lilly called? ;-)
3 Jul 2010 2:41pm
@Steven: Zactly right - that's where I went wrong, I reckon ! (Ronnie)
They should bury those cables much deeper when you can damage them with such a little scoop! But as long as your internet connection is still working, no worries! Took my a while to figure this one out, but luckily the previous visitors and your comments got me there ;)
3 Jul 2010 3:04pm
@Monique: Thanks, Monique. The odd thing is, that sign Lilly photographed does give the Marker Post as 00 00 0000 !
What a clever image with a great message. Nice.

Maybe the fiber optic cables can give the plant seeds an extra boost in growth. Keep digging Ronnie!

Good evening, Ronnie,
at first glance, it looked as if lit cigarettes stuck in the flower pot. I thought it should be a new tobacco plant. The bag of flower seeds and a small shovel right in the picture led me to conclude that you start a trial for a new breed. Well, as I see it is not what I thought. I hope that you will not severed, the wrong cable. With you, no one knows beforehand what will happen. I think that a visit to you, could be dangerous. I would at the entrance, sitting on a chair and take in danger once the flight. (Smile) It is good that it's just fun, which you present us again and again. Imagination is unlimited. Again it was very funny on your page. For that I give you 5 stars ***** Have a nice evening and all the best. Thanks for your nice comments. I am very pleased. Dear greetings Christel

@Christel: Thank you, Christel , for your entertaining Comments and the sprinkle of stars ! Have a lovely weekend.
Insisto en tu habilidad para encontrar imágenes que expliquen visualmente tus diàlogos! Best regards, Adela

I insist on your ability to find images that visually explain your dialogue! Best regards, Adela
3 Jul 2010 10:24pm
@Fonts: Thank you. Our sequence is to start with an idea and a photograph and go find or create a second image to blend or pair with the first to make a story. Somewhere in that process we 'hear' a conversation that becomes the dialogue. Like most creative stuff, it seems to have a life entirely outside of us. at times ! (L&R)
Nice shoots in your pot - but will they ever grow?!
3 Jul 2010 11:24pm
Happy 4th of July, love those very original fireworks of yours, Ron ;))
4 Jul 2010 9:30am
Very good. Look forward to the next installment. Arrest and trial :)
4 Jul 2010 12:32pm
I love the cigarettes in the pot, like live wires, dangerous, and twisting in their menace.
4 Jul 2010 12:46pm
This is why I got rid of Sprint and have Verizon. :) Nice casual composition with the double spade.
4 Jul 2010 2:16pm
A true hazard of the modern world. A lone man working quietly with one of the most primitive of tools can suddenly plunge thousands of people and businesses into 'the dark ages'. It happens time and again.
4 Jul 2010 2:57pm
I'm not sure what's smoking there but maybe that prompted Ronnie to call. Don't inhale , Ronnie!
4 Jul 2010 7:58pm
@Steve Rice: It was well into the life of this posting that I first realized that it does look like cigarettes - in fact, it is a bundle of white electric cable, Steve !
Hahaha! Excellent!!! I assumed you failed to comply… And the number is real? 00 00 0000? Maybe that's the total of cables and the "order" of it... almost like "a map"... 2 and a gap, then 2 and another gap and then 4. Digging with your size spade between the two 2's should be fine ;)
5 Jul 2010 2:25am
@✿ Anina ✿: Yup, that's the number on the Marker Plate !
I am having a tough time understanding this idea! :( Well, I assume the conversation was based on digging a pit to bury the smoking habit. But US Sprint Emergency dismisses this grave issue, which costs many lives, as a nuisance call which costs lives! Well if I understand it right, this is a photograph which has irony etched in every pixel. Or am I letting my imagination wander to reaches beyond my perceptions?! ;) Whatever it is, this photograph made me think a lot, providing some exercise for my brain on a dull day. Kudos Ronnie! :)

@Mithun Varma: Smiles . . you did a good job there. We often wonder about what goes in in these images ourselves !
@Luca Bobbiesi: hee hee . . I misread that as 'calamity' ! Thanks for your visits and Comments, Luca.
That number was way too easy to remember--it couldn't be real.
5 Jul 2010 10:04pm
@Doug: (From Lilly) Oh, it was real!!! Exactly as I found it!
perhaps you were just at the center of the Universe?
(hmmm... do you have to call before you dig up the sign?)
6 Jul 2010 8:08am
It amazes me how you find all the things you find, Ronnie! ;) Seeing the image for the first time I also had hard time figuring out what's what but after reading all the comments and your replies it all comes together. Like Mithun said, your images are great exercise for the brain! It's a good thing! ;) I need that! ha
