Lilly : Had a place go up in flames near here last week - truly horrific !
Ronnie : Wow . . would be right hazardous to my straw fox.
Lilly : Plain silly to have a fox that size made of straw if you ask me.

@Ani: Merci, j'ai Ani - ont une belle journée ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
Is that giant fox really made of straw? Wow!!! I'll switch quickly to IE, to hazardous to look at in FireFox :))
19 Sep 2011 5:21am
@Monique: Yes, it is made of straw bales and must be about 10m / 35 feet high ! (Ronnie)
You are so clever and funny (and scary), but, as I so often am, I am impressed today with your creative technique and fabulous touches....like the edge of that photo going up in flames. You guys light my fire !!
19 Sep 2011 6:09am
@DULCIE: I wish someone would light up AM3 this morning - running real s l o w ! (Ronnie)
Amazing...love his eyes with reflection of fire...GREAT!!...5*
19 Sep 2011 7:15am
@PRASHANT: Thank you, friend. Have a safe day ! (Ronnie)
So have you named the Firefox - Mozilla or Godzilla?
19 Sep 2011 7:43am
@kiwisa: ha ha . . I'd not thought that deep into the lair ! (Ronnie)
A real story of Firefox 6? ;)
19 Sep 2011 7:51am
Fire is fire ..which ever way you look at it. :))
19 Sep 2011 7:55am
Clever juxtaposition of images. It's the hottest place in the universe. :-)
19 Sep 2011 8:05am
@Florence: yay !
The big firefox looks a match for Arlo's Monster Manikin. Oops - maybe 'match' is not the word - especially with Arlo around!
19 Sep 2011 8:08am
@Stephen: Strike a light ! Please don't fire off words like that when Arlo is logged on ! (Ronnie)
You need to install a firewall!
19 Sep 2011 8:16am
A superb scenario with a beautiful presentation ! Quite a story there !
19 Sep 2011 8:54am
good comment of Celliott
19 Sep 2011 9:13am
@Veronique: ha ha . . yes . . I'm trying not to get sparked into responding to this stuff ! (Ronnie)
With the look in the firefox eyes, he looks as if he started the fire, great posting as always :)
19 Sep 2011 9:16am
A bit scary considering all the wildfires.
19 Sep 2011 9:24am
Excellent work ! I love the post-processing with the "flame-frame"... Well done ! Have a lovely day :)
19 Sep 2011 9:31am
19 Sep 2011 9:41am
Did it all burn up as fast as they claimed?
19 Sep 2011 9:45am
Your fox, Ronnie, should follow an accelerated course of survival !!
19 Sep 2011 10:33am
@El pare: . . . "an accelerated course of survivall " . . what a lovely string of words ! (Ronnie)
Oh that poor fox knows what is coming..
19 Sep 2011 11:10am
A display of fiery wit, and definitely a great final notation about which browser to use.
Etonnant et superbe, ce montage!
19 Sep 2011 11:17am
playing with fire, are you?!?
(though my firefox is giving me trouble these days ...)
19 Sep 2011 11:23am
Poor fox,it looks really sad!
19 Sep 2011 11:42am
I agree with Christine...Fox's eyes are aglow ;-) ..It may be that I have not yet had sufficient coffee; it may be that I am not yet awake; it may be both. But I cannot think of anything to say, here, other than this has to be one of the most wonderful, humorous, brilliant, creative, magnificent pieces that you two have done yet! And that is saying a greatd deal, becasue everything you do is so unique. This is so cool!! Thanks for making me smile a big one today;-) I LOVE this...DJ
19 Sep 2011 11:43am
Firefox is a great title for this demon dog with glowing eyes! A very scary and yet playful composition! Well done! ;-)
19 Sep 2011 12:18pm
As said Marsellus Wallace: "you play with matches, you get burnt"
19 Sep 2011 12:59pm
My love for fiery foxes has a bit cooled down, I've extinguished the flames with Chrome...
19 Sep 2011 3:23pm
You guys are lighting up the internet! Look out!!
19 Sep 2011 3:29pm
Are you going in to business with those straw animals Ronnie ? I can deliver you some bales of straw if you want....... on the other hand if you decided to make something really hot like Strawdogs for example, I would be an accomplice ! I can feel the flames of the Law at my feet.
19 Sep 2011 4:17pm
@Michael Fresh: 'Hot' ? 'Flames'? I am in the hands of Arlo with this one, Mike. And I notice his asbestos gloves are not on the hook. (Ronnie)
This whole scenario just burns me up. ;-) I'm a little worried that a fire theme keeps popping up on your blog. I hear the authorities are keeping an eye on you, and so is Smoky the Bear.
I have been feeding real foxes to help them out during our burning hot weather. We need your straw fox here to cheer them on!
19 Sep 2011 4:25pm
You sure this isn't a bear cub? That would change everything.
19 Sep 2011 4:52pm
@Susan: If that turns out to be a bear cub, I shall hafta return all these Comments and put the fire out !! No, it is sure a fox ! (Ronnie)
very good idea.
19 Sep 2011 5:12pm
Great capture of fire and I love the finishing touch of fire you added to the fox photo. Cute tag line, too.
19 Sep 2011 5:46pm
Wow that's intense.......
But by the way....what is Mozilla saying?
19 Sep 2011 5:56pm
@Richard Geven: I do believe he is saying "Mr. Arlo promised I would become a beacon in this role - that I would be carbonized whatever that means" (Ronnie)
i wonder which version it is and is it working with the google translate plug-in and...
19 Sep 2011 6:38pm
An impressive fire !
19 Sep 2011 6:44pm
Excellent composition, great details and effects. Bravo!
19 Sep 2011 7:15pm
@Loukas: Thank you, Loukas ! (Ronnie)
Good evening Lilly and Ronnie,
I'm speechless. This idea developed, only one, Ronnie. I crown you, Emperor of the comedian and entertainer. A great idea and composition. I hope that the outbreak of the fire was not too bad and causing too much damage. Furthermore, I wish you and Lilly, including your family all the best and health.
Dear greetings from Christel
19 Sep 2011 7:46pm
@Christel: Thank you for your lovely Comments, Christel - so nice to have you back among us All ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
The fox's eyes already look like that are about to erupt in flames! The burning page is great! That fire looks horrible! I liked this!
19 Sep 2011 8:12pm
@Elaine Hancock: Thanks, Elaine ! I should say that Lilly's fire is what is called a 'Controlled Burn' by the local Fire Department and nobody's home was actually lost. Fire was applied to the fox in the safety of the studio ! (Responsible Ronnie)
An excellent idea ... Dialogic well represented and well ... very funny ...! Best regards, Adela
19 Sep 2011 8:47pm
Your posts are very funny and well presented; I love all the comments and the conversations you reply back with! Very creative, love the flame on the photo and the fire in Lily's photo is amazing! Have a great day!
19 Sep 2011 8:57pm
So, now I know where the creators of Firefox got the inspiration for the name of the browser.
19 Sep 2011 9:12pm
Magnificent! Lilly your picture is ablaze, I love the black and fiery orange colors! Ronnie, I like how there’s a hint of orange glow on the fox’s eyes and the corners of the picture! Nice play of words, Mozilla should give you kudos for free advertisement! Lol!
19 Sep 2011 9:23pm
That must have taken you literally days to make Ronnie... and seconds to destroy once Lilly and her tricky matches get near...
19 Sep 2011 9:31pm
Excellent composition...very creative shot and framing! thumbs up!
19 Sep 2011 9:35pm
what a great idea this one!!
19 Sep 2011 10:50pm
20 Sep 2011 12:08am
A whole 'nother kind of fire fox. Not a good idea, no.
20 Sep 2011 5:15am
@Bettina: I just use whatever happens to work - here's what the rest of the world is said by Wiki to be using : (Ronnie)

20 Sep 2011 9:45am
Another creative combination. I am really impressed by the hot fire and that straw sculpture!
20 Sep 2011 9:54am
The fox has sad and evil eyes, both at the same time.
20 Sep 2011 10:34am
@Melissa: Yes, that's a good way of putting it - it felt that way when I was there ! Thanks, Melissa. (Ronnie)
Poor fox... through its looks i can say that it knows what waits for it... :-(
Great combination of shots, well presented... impressive fire !
20 Sep 2011 12:06pm
A beautiful fabrication today with these two elements….so well done! Excellent!
20 Sep 2011 2:25pm
What scary and spooky scenes you two have put together!!! Look at those red weeping eyes of the "fox"! I doubt if I would feel comfortable in using "Firefox" anymore! Happy Silly Tuesday!:-)

@Gilles: Thanks, Gilles . . we are a bit overwhelmed by the Comments on this one ! (Lilly and Ronnie)
Well, you two find the strangest things. And I almost groaned out loud while at work on reading that firefox comment!
20 Sep 2011 9:55pm
@Andrea: ha ha . . we could not resist it although it was not part of the original plan. I feel kinda sorry for the fox, now - he looks kinda puzzled by it all . . . (Ronnie)
Lol, this is really good irony.
21 Sep 2011 12:56am
Absolutely brilliant, and not just the fire. I see a face in the flames. Would that be a "Fire Devil"?
21 Sep 2011 5:19am
@Bill Brown: Oh, my . . yes, I see it now !! (Ronnie)
I'm always out of words when I see your latest photos. Still I feel hilarious every time!
21 Sep 2011 5:52am
Meraviglioso! Super story telling Ronnie - Love the 'firefox' pun and play here. Superb skills and irony in the entire image and you two guys are at your best as always!
(BTW I'm going to Mexico in October for a couple of weeks for a friend's wedding - she wants me to shoot her wedding :P)
21 Sep 2011 6:36am
that straw fox looks like it'd be a huge fire magnet (coming from someone who lives in California)
21 Sep 2011 7:49am
@Chris Pereira: You are right . . it sure looked real vulnerable ! Thanks, Chris. (Ronnie)
Ah yes Firefox, the hot way to surf the web
21 Sep 2011 10:36am
is that really a giant Fox or a cleverly composed photo? either way, of the fox-manity!
21 Sep 2011 2:18pm
@crash: Well, giant by my local standard - about 30 feet high !! (Ronnie)
desastroso que lastima...

Great title, well done!
21 Sep 2011 7:13pm
@❀ Yvonne Simons ❀: Thank you for your visit, Yvonne - appreciated. (Lilly and Ronnie)
Haha! (This reminds me about the giant yule goat in a small city in Sweden, which is by tradition illegally put on fire each Christmas, sometimes only a few hours after it has been erected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G%C3%A4vle_goat)
22 Sep 2011 10:23am
