Just change the bulb, it doesn't look energy PC!
13 Sep 2012 6:38am
@Christine: hush now, Christine . . 'They' will be calling on me ! (Incorrect Ronnie)
You both have to think "Eco" before starting any check! How to save energy.....So...buy more scarves and blankets! And then invest into some solar panels, it doesn't matter if you have not enough sunny days...it's just the trend of the moment!
And then.....Why, Ronnie has an antiquated system! Change it! It will make a hole in your bank account, BUT.....you'll feel better!
13 Sep 2012 6:48am
Give me the button on the left. The right side is too complicated!!
13 Sep 2012 6:51am
Hehe, i love this juxtaposition a lot, 2 worlds colliding, simple & complex, our world is made of both ;)
13 Sep 2012 7:02am
Well thanks Lilly, you've reminded me it's time to service my boiler before winter arrives.
I won't call Arlo.
13 Sep 2012 8:05am
@Curly: What a wonderful idea - Arlo would surely warm to a job like that !! (Ronnie)
I'd keep away from it, Ronnie ;-))
Maybe change this for a more contemporary one!
I hope we'll keep this temperatures for at least the end of November ........ saves lots of money ......
Great juxtaposition!!!
13 Sep 2012 8:17am
@Ellebelle: Sure has been amazingly warm in London this month . . (Ronnie)
You can also install a fireplace, is more romantic and liked lylli, great shot ronnie
13 Sep 2012 8:56am
@Melocoton: Good idea - an open fire . . I shall consult Mr. Arlo. (Ronnie)
Simplicité binaire d'un côté, tous les nœuds du problème de l'autre!
Bonne journée lumineuse!
13 Sep 2012 9:11am
well.. I think this is.. uh or..here.. well forget it!!!
13 Sep 2012 9:17am
Don't blow a fuse Ronnie, I see you are well wired, so just keep plugging away
13 Sep 2012 9:26am
@grouser: I can smell burning - I guess that means it is working, yes ? (Ronnie)
yes but anyone can push a start button, a real man finds his way through just about anything
buttons are for sissies...
13 Sep 2012 9:38am
@yz: Ah, I should get you to fight all my battles for me . . (Ronnie)
@Heinz: 'too old' ? - I know that feeling ! (Ronnie)
Please don't start an electrical fire!
13 Sep 2012 12:30pm
I find that if you take the fuses out of the plugs, you get consistent electricity flow.
13 Sep 2012 1:14pm
Very funny, Ronnie if you continue, you'll be cold this winter, do not count on Arlo.
13 Sep 2012 1:32pm
Simplicity vs... disorder. The last one is very interesting in a sense. So graphic.
13 Sep 2012 1:56pm
What a neat cover yet a terrible muddle behind!!!!! Couldn't find a better picture to illustrate my state lately!!! Take good care you two!
13 Sep 2012 2:32pm
@hugo poon: Many a true word, Hugo ! (Ronnie)
I was wondering when I would get to see a shot of the interior of the new iPhone 5. I can't see that Samsung will be sued for copying that little lot.
13 Sep 2012 3:05pm
@CElliottUK: I thin the engineer came from Samsung . . sure that's what he said . . (Ronnie)
I like the light bulb in the middle of the controls. Very handy for a nighttime crisis.
13 Sep 2012 3:58pm
Lilly, you don't trust anything on Ronnie's full abilities...
13 Sep 2012 5:04pm
A classic Lilly zinger, and what a nice contrast in design ! This heating system of yours, Ronnie, looks like it needs its own year round cooling system.
13 Sep 2012 5:05pm
Looking at your shot again and again I really love the industrial mood that comes out of it. A kinda tribute to Mother Electricity. ;-)
13 Sep 2012 5:09pm
@Florence: Quite a sizzler, huh ?! (Ronnie)
@marceline: Neen une «Ni Sure" bouton ! (Ronnie)
hahahah... yup very nice mood and a lot of things to look at, so electrifying.
13 Sep 2012 5:36pm
une bombe à retardement, couchez vous tout va exploser ;o) !!!
13 Sep 2012 6:22pm
It looks to me like Arlo had something to do with the putting together of you heater, Ronnie. The way those wires wrap around and that lightbulb in the middle...What worries me most is the start and stop buttons. Just what will happen when you push start. Did you ever complete Arlo's Awareness training?
13 Sep 2012 7:12pm
@ruthiebear: Arlo told me I was "unsuitable" for his Awareness Course but, before he could explain further, a fire broke out. (Ronnie)
The system looks complicated on the right. I would call the repairman ! Very funny ! I like it a lot!
13 Sep 2012 7:39pm
funny thing, be careful Ronnie, by the way Lilly will play the emergency room! :-))Haleja molemmille!
Goog evening for both of you!
13 Sep 2012 7:45pm
This is so funny ... I think the only thing missing is a screwdriver to hold something together; I wish things were more simple like Lily's photo :)
13 Sep 2012 8:57pm
you show in a wonderful way the difference between man and woman! :-)))
13 Sep 2012 10:01pm
@curieuzeneuzemosterdpot: ha ha . . I'd rather hit the 'start' button than try answer that ! (Ronnie)
That looks rather complicated with 2 thermostats and all Ronnie. Maybe just try connecting some of those wires. What do you have to lose! Made me laugh!
13 Sep 2012 10:22pm
This reminds me of the wiring I saw on my new hot water heater yesterday. Something sounds wrong when wiring and water mix. :-)
14 Sep 2012 2:32am
why make simple whereas we can make complicated. At least it makes an excuse if we do not understand...
14 Sep 2012 5:30am
Whoa.. lots of wires and know not wot to do Ronnie!
Lilly's heating system is much more reliable ;-)
14 Sep 2012 6:08am
By the looks of it Ronnie you have a nuclear fusion boiler... I've never seen anything like it. Pray that Arlo doesn't find it :0
14 Sep 2012 6:26am
@Michael Fresh: Actually, Arlo has recommended someone but we are waiting for the guy to come out of Emergency . . (Ronnie)
It's official...Do not ask Ronnie to fix anything electrical ever!!!!
14 Sep 2012 6:36am
@kiwisa: It seems to be working, Kiwisa - if I stand close to the wiring, I can feel the heat ! (Ronnie)
when I see this , I remember my childhood and my fear about these things :S
because I had trouble with them ... a kind of electric shock (not very strong) because of my curiosity
but don't worry , I'm still brave and curious :D ;)
14 Sep 2012 7:05am
@Goddess ☼ Ƹl¡: We live. We learn ! (Ronnie)
Good luck if you don't have the instructions LOL! I think best just to sell and let the new owners figure it out!
14 Sep 2012 8:11am
Suzper captage avec les boutons rouge génial.
amitié
14 Sep 2012 8:49am
It would appear that young Arlo has been playing the old childhood game "let's start an electrical fire"
14 Sep 2012 10:43am
@Jules: Arlo . . now, there's a thought ! (Ronnie)
The instructions are very simple. Connect the black wire to the white wire, remove the red cap and press the button under it. Ker-BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
14 Sep 2012 11:02am
@B. Thomas: I better call Arlo ! (Ronnie)
Hahaha....Very very interesting photo as usual ...Bravoooo
14 Sep 2012 12:01pm
Interesting photo.
The right side is me too complicated.
Go for the simple left side.
Nice found.
14 Sep 2012 1:09pm
Ha! We forget how complex the age of analog was - trial and error not recommended for all those wires!
14 Sep 2012 2:03pm
No problem. You press "start." If not work. You call the technician. Don't touch anything
Very funny image!!!
14 Sep 2012 2:12pm
@Graciel.la (Vic, Catalonia): Sounds like good advice to me ! (Ronnie)
This would be me....on the right...the one who loses the instructions ....I love the contrast here...contrast in "styles" shall we say. We could say this is the Ying and Yang but I "prefer to refer" to this as "Slim and Slam" (to all you old bebop fans aout there...there I go again, taking up your valuable space to talk about me....Hugs to you both!!
14 Sep 2012 4:56pm
@Denny Jump Photo: We always keep a space for you here, Denny ! ( from Lilly )
Beware friends ... cables must be careful ... Always in a good mood! qe Have a nice family weekend! A hug, Adela
14 Sep 2012 5:20pm
Pas pressée de remettre ce système en marche, je préfère le soleil !.. )
15 Sep 2012 7:39am
@tataray: Approuvé - et le soleil pendant une bonne, cette année ! (Ronnie)
Ronnie's side look far too complicated for me. I like the simplicity of Lilly's method, as well as the nice clean lines….
You can always use a blanket :)
15 Sep 2012 12:48pm
@bluechameleon: All he has there is a fire-blanket to smother the expected flames, Sharon - I suppose that is his idea of making preparations ! btw love your posting today and that quote from HC-B ! ( from Lilly )
Another seamless compo. Is Arlo a certified HVAC tech?
15 Sep 2012 12:56pm
@Julie L. Brown: Arlo is definitely 'Certified' . . but I dread to guess in what ! ( from Lilly )
Lilly's is simple, but Ronnie's is more interesting. I especially like the light bulb!
15 Sep 2012 1:21pm
Strong, high detailed images with marvelous conversation. Funny... very funny.
15 Sep 2012 2:36pm
Lili's is very dumbed down... Just what I need.
15 Sep 2012 9:29pm
Ronnie... take care not to have too much heating when you touch it!!
16 Sep 2012 6:29am
Interesting composition.. One half for simplicity, and other all complex.
16 Sep 2012 2:41pm
I am very perplexed about which bit of the complex is actually connected to anything at all.
the timer for one is completely gone Ronnie, you may end up with the same result as Lillys
16 Sep 2012 8:20pm
Instructions? Bah! Just keeping pushing buttons...
17 Sep 2012 4:16am
Thankfully our heating system is starting to slow down! It should be Spring in my world! Good one!
17 Sep 2012 10:13am
@Gemma Wiseman: ha ha . . yes, it still seems a strange concept now that the world is so 'small' in all other ways - Happy Spring ! (Ronnie)
you two have hit the nail on the head ... i keep forgetting how to adjust the heating, which knobs to turn and which buttons to press ...
if it were just as simple as on lilly's side, with just an "on" and "off" option ... ;-))
17 Sep 2012 6:19pm
I am plugged into your site. It makes me light up.
28 Sep 2012 3:22am
