Lilly : Are you keeping an eye on the little one over there, Ronnie ?
Ronnie : Never out of my sight - not moved in over 30 minutes. Trust me.
Lilly : er . . . Ronnie, something is not right !

7 Jan 2013 8:15am
@Ellebelle: I'll be honest - when I first saw this, from a slightly different angle, I spent a while trying to figure what the little kid was standing staring at ! (Honest Ronnie)
Je crois qu'il va falloir que tu changes de lunettes :) Excellent. Bonne journée.
7 Jan 2013 8:30am
Now, Ronnie, after this posting...you'll never ever be asked to do baby-sitting! You're free, my friend....
7 Jan 2013 8:38am
@Japanalia: You have lifted my spirits, Gabriela - good news at last ! (Ronnie Elated)
Poor kid was poleaxed after getting stoned in The Hood. So many kids go that way, I blame too much sugar and salt on their Frosties.
7 Jan 2013 8:52am
@CElliottUK: Frosties ? I thought they were banned. (Ronnie)
Hmmm!!! It looks like Ronnie is frozen to the spot:)
7 Jan 2013 9:18am
Superb composition, but I think you're wrong Ronnie!!
Have a good week.
7 Jan 2013 9:23am

7 Jan 2013 9:55am
@Judy aka L@dybug: According to the experts, everything has been tried and failed, Judy . . at a loss. ( from Lilly )
7 Jan 2013 10:10am
@Ana Lúcia: Thanks, Ana - we kinda thought this was sweet. ( from Lilly )
I like the gray backgrounds which unify the images and make the pink and green stand out.
Hmm........ the Little One pulled a fast one!
7 Jan 2013 10:29am
@Anita: Yes, there is often a perceived affinity between our images which is purely coincidental but, you are right, it comes across strongly here. ( from Lilly )
Not sure where the little one has gone, Ronnie - by the look of this, might send you a post card!
@Stephen: . . and without a postage stamp if he is anything like Ronnie, Stephen. ( from Lilly )
I see your kids are Post Modernist Ronnie
7 Jan 2013 11:06am
@grouser: oh, my . . I just hope they don't read this . . (Ronnie)
Stop worrying Lilly, she only has one leg, she cannot run too far away :-)
7 Jan 2013 11:10am
@Curly: . . coulda hopped on a flight to Dallas, Curly . . (Ronnie)
Anyway the right picture funny !!! I didn't immediately realize on what was the coat, I mean that is wasn't on a human back.
7 Jan 2013 11:19am
@Veronique: Nor me when I stood there for real, V - I was 'behind' it and wondered what the kid was standing staring at for so long !! (Ronnie)
Houston? We have a problem...
7 Jan 2013 11:29am
@GJC: ha ha . . yes, there is a touch of that about it !! (Ronnie)
The question is who left his coat there and why? I ask myself the same question when I see an abandoned shoe (just one of a pair!) on the shoulder of a highway in the middle of nowhere...??? Kidnapped by aliens?
7 Jan 2013 12:26pm
@Denise: Yes, we often say the same thing - never see a pair ! (L&R)
"Il y a photo" pour départager ces deux coureurs à l'instant de franchir la ligne d'arrivée... même s'il y en a un qui a été "coiffé sur le poteau" !
Bon début de semaine lumineuse et chal-heureuse!
7 Jan 2013 12:51pm
@Benkirane Thami: ha ha. . oui, c'est une autre tournure à prendre! ( à partir de Lilly )
Jemand hat nach dem Spielen seine Jacke vergessen. Zwei sehr starke Fotos.
7 Jan 2013 12:53pm
@Heinz: Danke, Heinz !
I hope these so nice Platonic demonstrations will have the desired effect on Lilly, Ronnie.
7 Jan 2013 1:16pm
Be reassured Ronnie, he will be in the last place you look!!
7 Jan 2013 1:26pm
You must be so careful with kids! Excellent but scary!

7 Jan 2013 3:16pm
A fool can no more see his own folly than he can see his ears. ~Thackeray
Looks like you've been fooled Ronnie, and people are talking. Are your ears burning?
7 Jan 2013 3:59pm
@B. Thomas: Ears burning ? I'll get Arlo to check ! (Ronnie)
Oops, where did she go?
7 Jan 2013 4:22pm
I can see you're going from a rock to a hard place now Ronnie !
7 Jan 2013 4:56pm
@Doug: . . no change for me there, then ! (Ronnie)
Elle va attraper froid la petite , surveillance necessaire
7 Jan 2013 5:06pm
She is a child prodigy or... she watched too much TV series. Whatever, she has abused of your naïveté, Ronnie.
7 Jan 2013 5:07pm
quel ensemble la veste sur la pierre et ce mauve sur la jeune fille superbe.
Merci et belle soirée
7 Jan 2013 5:50pm
7 Jan 2013 5:57pm
Ronnie, with all due respect, your powers of observation are a little lacking ... someone has stolen her shoes!
7 Jan 2013 6:12pm
I am not surprised by Ronnie's lack of keen observation. After all recently he could not even find his legs! I have little hope he will find this missing child, Lilly. He is too easily deceived, perhaps too much time with Arlo? Ronnie, children must be handled with care - even Arlo and Bebe take good care of their boys! I cannot believe I am saying this, but perhaps he could help you in your child tending skills?
7 Jan 2013 6:31pm
@Ruthiebear: No secret that Arlo has a burning ambition to become involved in all things, Ruthie . . his flame burns bright ! (Ronnie)
ROFL.....I think you have been duped Ronnie! ;-)
7 Jan 2013 7:22pm
@Eric Cousineau: Duped, yes, but it's forgivable, Eric - that set-up looks real enough to fool anyone ! (Ronnie)
I just love those kids who contemplate the nature of the universe for long, quiet stretches. But then, 30 minutes seems like quite a while for a kid that size, Ronnie. I think Lilly is onto something.
7 Jan 2013 7:25pm
@Steve Rice: Where are friends when I need them . . lol . . (Ronnie-on-the-run)
seems they tricked you again, ronnie ... ;-))
(those youngsters can be really tricky ...)
7 Jan 2013 8:32pm
Are you sure it's not play hide and seek?
7 Jan 2013 9:03pm
clever girl! :-))
wait until she's 16!
I fear she's going to stand still for a lot of time? :-)))
7 Jan 2013 9:56pm
7 Jan 2013 10:27pm
Definitely not a girl you'd want to run up to and greet with a big hug! Unless you want to be in pain for a few days. :-)
7 Jan 2013 10:28pm
Hah! Like the composition with the girl heading out of range while your attention is focused elsewhere...
7 Jan 2013 11:22pm
Oh Lilli's just being an old stick in the mud....
8 Jan 2013 12:39am
@Denny Jump Photo: ha ha . . clever words, Denny ! (Ronnie)
This is totally hilarious! I love it! Smart little tike...left her coat there as a decoy and took off!
@Elaine Hancock: As I've admitted, it fooled me for real ! (Ronnie)
Something is definitely wrong there! The one on the right isn't wearing any pants!! You could be arrested for that! ;-)
8 Jan 2013 1:25am
@B.Sully: Setting the little blighter in concrete is probably another charge I'd face now you mention it ! (Ronnie)
It is easy to misunderstanding .Embroglio is as bright as this photos .
But is R/L world not too bad !
8 Jan 2013 6:48am
This is brilliant! However there are some practical difficulties
8 Jan 2013 6:57am
8 Jan 2013 7:41am
Who said Kids always run everywhere & drive us all crazy ? SO calm one you have here ;))))
8 Jan 2013 7:49am
@k@: I was slightly suspicious of the calm, must admit ! (Ronnie)
ronnie, it looks like you are looking after a little shape shifter ; ) a very quiet one but a shape shifter anyway. That or you'll have to done some leg work.... mmm
8 Jan 2013 8:05am
@ripple: "shape shifter" ? . . I need to get updated on this stuff ! (Ronnie)
Ohhhhhhhh.... mais où es-tu parti Ronnie ?.... :))
8 Jan 2013 8:10am
c'est excellent ! Je te souhaite une agréable journée
8 Jan 2013 8:26am
This is so bad and o so good! What a play on visual mayhem!
8 Jan 2013 8:32am
@Gemma Wiseman: " visual mayhem" - I like that ! (Ronnie)
Haaaaaaaaaaa super bien vu!! trop drôle!!! j'aime++++
8 Jan 2013 9:16am
@Martine: Fun, huh ?!! (Ronnie)
it also reminds me of this - in a very different story line - but eh sometimes imagination is a collective thing.
8 Jan 2013 12:30pm
Ronnie, did you forget your glasses? Pay attention!
8 Jan 2013 2:49pm
A very funny concept executed extremely well.
8 Jan 2013 3:37pm
Poor child they will be cold without her coat.
Have you already found the poor child.
Great inspiration you have.
8 Jan 2013 4:44pm
Belle association d'idées et d'images..
8 Jan 2013 5:37pm
I hope this story had a happy ending. The child fooled you, Ronnie.
8 Jan 2013 5:51pm
@Marilla: Ah, yes, no sadness here ! (Ronnie)
A generous girl :-)
8 Jan 2013 6:02pm
8 Jan 2013 6:50pm
I don't know about secure.
8 Jan 2013 9:49pm
@Irene: I was tricked, Irene . . could happen to any of us. (Ronnie) Especially you, Ronnie. ( from Lilly )
it is a really funny one...
9 Jan 2013 3:55am
9 Jan 2013 8:46am
Probably not a good idea for Uncle Ronnie to baby-sit!
9 Jan 2013 11:13am
@Julie L. Brown: Well, I managed to salvage the coat, Julie . . (Ronnie)
Siempre tan original,me encanta el trabajo que haces.Saludos.
9 Jan 2013 7:20pm
Left binoculars or a good pair ... ! As always sharp and funny dialogue ... Thank you very much for making me laugh heartily ... ! Children are never more than a few seconds still ... legs are moving! Best regards, Adela
9 Jan 2013 7:40pm
Haha ... child's play ... love this!
9 Jan 2013 8:17pm
@RBL: I have to say that coat had me fooled (from the back) for longer than I care to admit when I first saw it, Ruthie ! (Ronnie)
Ha ha "Should have gone to Specsavers". This brings back a memory of losing a brand new coat on the very first day I had it, when I forgot all about it and left it behind after playing footy in the street with some friends - My parents went ballistic!!!!!
9 Jan 2013 8:30pm
@Jules: Yeah, I can well imagine all that - I once left a new car parked splayed on a Red Route corner while going to McDonalds late one evening . . and walked home. Only the next morning did I remember and got there to find total chaos with buses unable to turn and traffic queued for half a mile. Amazingly, I didn't even get a ticket ! (Ronnie)
but you've carefully selected that pub with a window access to the playfield to keep an eye on that... coat...
10 Jan 2013 4:21pm
interesting & lovely
12 Jan 2013 7:11am
This is a very funny post, Ronnie. But, oh my, is that a true story of leaving your car and walking home from McDonald's? Did you imbibed something stronger than a chocolate shake???
13 Jan 2013 7:33pm
@DULCIE: Embarrassingly true, a Volvo C70 - I have trouble believing it even today ! (Ronnie)
I don't know why,but it's a bit scary ! Ronnie :S
16 Jan 2013 6:22am
@Goddess ☼ Ƹl¡: It does seem to carry a dark side and it is true I looked at that coat from behind and thought, initially, there was someone in it. In fact, I never saw the 'owner' and the coat might still be there. Horrible thought. (Ronnie)
