Lilly : I've selected one of my favorite pieces of porcelain and sent it to you for the show.
Ronnie : It arrived, Lilly - Arlo and the boys are assembling it now.

15 Aug 2013 6:24am
@Doug: Now, there's a thought !
Makes me wonder ........ who's to blame? Arlo or the boys? Or was it the postman?
My mun would get a heart attack when she sees this ........... she's a passionate duck collector!!
Btw .... lovely hat Arlo's is wearing ..........
15 Aug 2013 6:25am
There's one that has gone missing !!! Is it inside ?
15 Aug 2013 6:40am
@Devi: We are still making inquiries . . . Arlo is in denial as always. (Ronnie)
Oh boy, Arlo is in trouble... Funny idea again and good pictures!
15 Aug 2013 7:31am
Oh ... just a little glue ..... nothing wrong.
Nicely done Ron.
15 Aug 2013 8:32am
Well, they had better get that head glued back before Lilly finds out! I must say that Arlo looks spiffy in his curator's hat.
15 Aug 2013 10:06am
@Julie L. Brown: He does look rather smart I thought ! (Ronnie)
fantastic work, creative idea
15 Aug 2013 10:11am
Beak airful Ronnie, there's no ducking the issue Arlo is quackers and you will end up looking a right turkey with your goose well and truly cooked.
15 Aug 2013 10:17am
Very funny and clever composition! Arlo is great with his hat!
15 Aug 2013 11:03am
@Mireille T.: Ahead with a hat !
Be careful boys! :)
15 Aug 2013 11:31am
Ahhh...that chick head..it made Arlo put a hat on his head, no wonder! How long can you keep it from Lilly?
15 Aug 2013 11:53am
Arlo..............The "four-letter word" that you don't dare mention when talking about porcelain. :-) A cute story line creation here!!
15 Aug 2013 12:04pm
@Steven: ha ha . . A R L O !!
I have complete faith in Arlo.
15 Aug 2013 12:31pm
@Lorna: He's not a bad character once you get to know him ! (Ronnie)
LOL....looks like you have ducked another one Ronnie! ;-))
15 Aug 2013 12:44pm
@Eric Cousineau: ouch ! Thanks Eric (Ronnie)
I do not want presence when they get home :-)
15 Aug 2013 1:26pm
Il y a eu de la casse, heureusement Arlo est là pour réparer!!! Splendide composition. Bonne journée. *****
15 Aug 2013 1:32pm
@Tede: J'ai confiance en Arlo ! (Ronnie)
Ooooh! Arlo hands are not especially careful .
15 Aug 2013 2:14pm
I have always admired Arlo's passion and creativity! I keep thinking that if he was given some proper guidance in his childhood, he would have been a great artist or scientist by now...
15 Aug 2013 2:40pm
@hugo poon: Oh, please do not let him read that, Hugo . . please . . (Ronnie)
Lovely, nice composition...:-)
15 Aug 2013 3:23pm
A great shot of Arlo and the boys, they still made a stupidity, attention to the porcelain from Lilly. Excellent composition.
Have a nice day.
15 Aug 2013 3:40pm
The master of organization, Arlo has the boys working as a well oiled machine. I'm sure the repairs will be sturdy. A bit of heat might help set the glue.
15 Aug 2013 4:47pm
@Steve Rice: Oh, my. (Ronnie)
This may come as a big shock but I am wondering...is there a head that is entirely missing??? Oh, it's Mine!
15 Aug 2013 4:52pm
@Denny Jump Photo: You are right, Denny . . one has gone missing entirely. (Ronnie)
First off, Arlo in a hat, what has he done that he needs to disguise himself????? The boys look intent, but not sure if they are repairing or removing those heads? Poor Lilly, I wonder how you will keep this from her? SHe already is suspicious knowing Arlo is on the loose.
15 Aug 2013 4:54pm
I hate flat pack furniture!
15 Aug 2013 5:23pm
Really interesting composition!!
15 Aug 2013 5:52pm
Un peu de colle et la tête retrouve sa place!
15 Aug 2013 6:37pm
@Jean-Luc T.: Oui, solution facile ! (Ronnie)
oops ......that's scaring Lilly
Arlo and the boys are careful!
15 Aug 2013 8:06pm
Oh yes Lily, I would be very worried to, Arlo and assembling is not a good combination. Have a great day both of you:)
15 Aug 2013 8:37pm
@kiwisa: Thank you - wishing safe times to you, too. (L&R)
lily has a hard time with you, ronnie! :-)))
and so does the porcelain? :-))))
great compo of these two duck stories! :-))
15 Aug 2013 8:48pm
@curieuzeneuzemosterdpot: Thankyou !
Please don't lose your head and go to pieces over this.
15 Aug 2013 9:22pm
@B. Thomas: Arlo will see me thru - he has contacts at the asylum. (Ronnie)
Looks like Arlo has gotten you into a sticky situation Ronnie! Better that he is using glue instead of matches I suppose, but I am sure there will be some mishap. Better prepare yourself when you have to give Lilly the bad news.
15 Aug 2013 10:20pm
@Elaine Hancock: Yeah, another Bad News Day coming up, I fear. Enjoy the coming weekend, Elaine. (Ronnie)
so good 5*
16 Aug 2013 12:05am
That is strangely humourous.
16 Aug 2013 12:13am
@Michael Rawluk: Yup, that sums up Arlo rather well ! (Ronnie)
I really enjoy your little mise en scène!
16 Aug 2013 1:28am
@Denise: awww . . how sweet that sounds in French ! (Ronnie)
Nice construction and amusing dialog.
16 Aug 2013 2:05am
You really know how to get us with Arlo and the gang there, I love this! I also really like the blue that pulls the whole compo together :-))
16 Aug 2013 3:10am
@Abena: Ah, I was hoping someone might mention the Blue - often with our dual images there is an unexpected/unintended 'theme' running thru. This time, it was Blue. Thank you, Abena.
j'aime bien la partie de gauche
16 Aug 2013 6:39am
Very clever and creative as usual !!
16 Aug 2013 7:19am
Arlo thinks its a DIY coracle???
16 Aug 2013 9:21am
@Curly: Now, there's an idea . . ideal for floating around on a pool of gasoline ! (Ronnie)
Arlo's creativity is impressive.
16 Aug 2013 9:41am
@El pare: He is a man of many parts ! (Ronnie)
Très bien vu!! une belle compo et j'aime les bleus dans les deux photos!!!!
16 Aug 2013 9:57am
@Martine: Oui, c'est bleu fonctionne bien, hein?! ( from Lilly )
Charming. A funny dialogue (as always) excellent.
The theatrical setting is perfect!
A hug, Adela
16 Aug 2013 10:14am
Great pieces, colors, shapes
16 Aug 2013 10:45am
Are you sure you liked it, Lily?
Or did you deliberately sent it to Arlo?
16 Aug 2013 1:21pm
:) I agree with Devi... they've lost one head!! Maybe it is underneath that huge cap that's wearing Arlo?? If they do a fine work, just let me know about it... I have several broken pieces of porcelain, and it'd be nice to recover them ;-)
16 Aug 2013 4:03pm
;)) Fortunately that there are very good glues or maybe unfortunately ??
16 Aug 2013 4:53pm
Excellent composition and colors!
16 Aug 2013 6:11pm
Ronnie ... the broken bowl will be expensive! :))
16 Aug 2013 6:12pm
@Frankiess: Broken things always are . . sigh . . (Ronnie)
Lilly, peut -être la tête de Ronnie ferait grand effet à la place de celle du canard ;)
16 Aug 2013 7:12pm
@véronique cherpantier: Ah, c'est une bonne idée! ( from Lilly)
Go buy flowers Ronnie ! Lots !! Candy may work too !! Wonderful creative comp with nice, nice fun !
16 Aug 2013 9:49pm
16 Aug 2013 11:58pm
Just laughing! I had a concrete goose I used to dress in clothes depending on occasion. The kids whacked it's head off with a bat, I guess, they hid the incident from me and I found the goose head lying beside it! Years later and I mean yearrrsss they told me what happened. My sweet little daughter went Rambo on it!
17 Aug 2013 3:11am
@Eruaistaniel: Awww . . what a sweet story - Life is made of stuff like that ! (Ronnie)
How are they now around to break Lily's beautiful container, stupid boys! I hope they get prepared it for, so Lily does not have to be sad!:-))Haleja.
Happy Saturday day for both of you, my friend!
17 Aug 2013 6:58am
Well porcelain travels at its own risk!
Again it's good to see how you managed to match the colours and create a story out of it.
Pity you had to ruin that lovely bowl...
17 Aug 2013 7:42am
Thank goodness you have professionals on hand.
17 Aug 2013 9:09am
@Daryl Johnson: Yes, experts. Not sure what at but definitely experts. (Ronnie)
Fortunately, the helping hands are close by.
17 Aug 2013 9:26am

Great shot, excellent work !
17 Aug 2013 2:39pm
My ! Arlo is a destructive fellow.
18 Aug 2013 1:10am
A day late due to my cantankerous computer, so all the 'lines' have been taken ... but I dare say it took you some time to 'assemble' things here, Ronnie.
18 Aug 2013 2:18am
@Judy aka L@dybug: . . I used breakneck speed, Judy . . have a lovely Sunday. (Ronnie)
Amazing interaction between the two pictures. Well done!
18 Aug 2013 4:41am
Always love to see Arlo and his folks back, ducks can lose their head, Arlo will fix it so well so quickly, never worry ;))
18 Aug 2013 6:22am
@k@: Hello, Karine - wishing you a lovely Sunday. (Ronnie and Arlo)
So interesting :) well done!
18 Aug 2013 9:13am
Beautiful set-up in Lilly's photo. Great action shot in Ronnie's. I especially like Arlo's hat.
18 Aug 2013 9:25am
@Anita: Arlo's hat slipped down over his face in one of the takes . I was tempted to use that one ! Enjoy Sunday, Anita.
Lovely and funny. I like it a lot
18 Aug 2013 10:05am
Really interesting and creative composition as usual. Love your photo job.
18 Aug 2013 10:14am
@maximage: Thanx, Max.
c'est joliment composé
18 Aug 2013 10:54am
Great duo, like the right composition, so well realized ! Poor Lilly, Arlo always throw her into disarray... we shall not change him !
18 Aug 2013 7:09pm
@Evelyne Dubos: True about Arlo - his character is very much ingrained, now . . (Ronnie)
Very good parallel !!
18 Aug 2013 8:18pm
Looks like one of the boys will be glued to the reconstruction - interesting way to interpret the piece!
19 Aug 2013 6:49am
Arlo, remember what Garrison Keillor has once said: “I believe in looking reality straight in the eye and denying it.”
19 Aug 2013 3:06pm
@Pnyks: Sounds like a mate of Arlo's ! (Ronnie)
what a damageable assembling :))
I don't know the grammar is true or not,forgive me any way... as I told you before, its really hard to say whatever in my mind about your pictures with my faulty grammar(because of my complicated thinking and imagination)...then I prefer to say nothing and just view... don't think I'm not here B-)
20 Aug 2013 8:25am
@Goddess ☼ Ƹl¡: Oh, I know you are here, Goddess Eli . . I always know . . and I read the Omid-Speak /گفتگو on your site, too ! (Ronnie)
I think Arlo has sniffed all the glue, but that hammer and nail should have it fixed soon
