After this, you might think to have seen almost everything. There is no reason to suppose, because it is not the case. The exterior design of the house is really exciting the imagination.

Careful Curly, Ronnie's only trying one of his psycho tricks to bate us !!!
18 Nov 2013 7:54am
@Doug: Have you seen Marion ? . . . I must speak to Detective Arbogast but cannot find him, either. (Rorman)
I'm afraid Ronnie! Save me.
18 Nov 2013 9:00am
@Ana Lúcia: . . I can offer a little something to take the pain away . . (Ronnie)

18 Nov 2013 9:03am

Une belle maison qui contraste bien avec le décor nuageux... Très bien vu
18 Nov 2013 9:33am
Great architecture with wonderful details, reflections, colors
Mysterious cloudy sky
18 Nov 2013 9:35am
Who is that figure I can see in the window.. is that your mother Ronnie? Ronnie, Ronnie where did you go?
18 Nov 2013 9:37am
@Kate: "Is that you, Mother ? Did you call . . ? . . ."
A very intriguing hotel. (heaven accompanies) I would like to spend a few nights in it. ... And out
18 Nov 2013 10:25am
Really cool treatment.
18 Nov 2013 10:53am
I love it - fantastic work
18 Nov 2013 11:22am
Vey nicce hotel :-)
18 Nov 2013 11:23am
@m vd fotokraam: . . there are vacancies . . (Ronnie)
I would avoid that left wing...( to our left) there might be a headless fellow there !!! In fact I think I can see him....and there seems to ba a flying bat.... a vampire on top right sweeping down......eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!!! Lemme out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18 Nov 2013 11:44am
@Devi: woooooooooooo !! . . next, you will be thinking it is haunted ! (Ronnie)
Looks like something right from the Adams family! I am sure their vacancy rate is rather staggering! ;-)
18 Nov 2013 12:29pm
You're one hell of a construction worker, Ronnie!!
Do I see Arlo behind that window??
18 Nov 2013 1:01pm
@Ellebelle: Oh, Arlo would be in the basement tending the boiler . . (Ronnie)
A gorgeous architecture, well done...:-)
18 Nov 2013 1:36pm
Amazing sky. Good job.
18 Nov 2013 1:44pm
@Wayra: Thank you - yes, the sky was imported : in fact, there are ten separate image-sources in this, I believe ! (Ronnie)
Stunning architectural shot! The light is wonderful and the sky adds a stunning background.
18 Nov 2013 1:51pm
18 Nov 2013 2:53pm
I am hoping that is not Arlo in the hotel window...The place is spooky enough without his family flitting about.
18 Nov 2013 3:25pm
brilliant place! i'm surprised there are vacancies, though .... i'd have thought people would storm it to get a room and meet arlo, norman and mother !!!
18 Nov 2013 3:36pm
Ahhhhhhhhh! The kind of post I really like here at O2S!! Seamless transition between what I see as beautiful examples of architecture! I love the Romanesque architecture seen in the arches and the brownstone.
18 Nov 2013 3:37pm
@Steven: Yes, these are always a challenge but often worth the effort.
Spooks or not, it's a fabulous building!
18 Nov 2013 3:39pm
terrific edition roonie, bravo*****
18 Nov 2013 3:53pm
i must say it kinda looks spooky but the exterior design of the building is really intriguing and i really want to check this place out !!
18 Nov 2013 4:03pm
@Mahnoor Saghir: Y'd need to check the two locations . . 4,000 miles apart . . . (Ronnie)
Je crois que je ne m'y arrêterais pas :)
18 Nov 2013 4:42pm
@Tede: Y'd doivent être être courageux ! (Ronnie)
Excellent editing and sharp and terrible dialogue perhaps? Thank you very much for your always humorous note... Best regards, Adela
18 Nov 2013 6:29pm
I like very much these saturated, dark tones. They create an excellent ambiance. The "hotel" sign at the bottom left is terrific.
18 Nov 2013 7:15pm
@Francisco Romero: We switched the light on the sign, now . . getting dark . . . (Ronnie)
wow...very dangerous hotel! Ronnie in the tower is certainly a dungeoun! Did you sleep there? ;)
18 Nov 2013 7:58pm
Amazing work ! Really a creative one ! I think noone can doubt about it. Neither Lilly !! Excellent collage, with an impressive atmosphere... Spooky on both sides !! ;-)
18 Nov 2013 8:40pm
Nice job seems to be only one !
18 Nov 2013 8:48pm
@Nicole: Yes, hard to believe there is a gap of 6,000 km between them !
(Ronnie)
I think I see Hitchcock at one of the windows.
18 Nov 2013 9:43pm
@Steve Rice: Strange how the thought-processes grow from this one - when we first started the posting, we had no idea of Hitchcock ! (L&R)
That is quite an ominous looking building. Especially with that person or red apparition in the window. Maybe Arlo could start a new business being a ghost exterminator. You did a great job putting these two houses together!
18 Nov 2013 10:16pm
@Elaine Hancock: Thanks, Elaine - this one kinda 'evolved' . . (Ronnie)
'I ain't afraid a no ghost
I ain't afraid a no ghost
if you're seein' things runnin' thru your head
who can you call ..'
definitely not lilly or ronnie! ;-))
18 Nov 2013 10:40pm
The clouds adding more spookiness to the image.
18 Nov 2013 11:32pm
@Diana: Yes, the clouds play a big part in this . . strange how they take on a significance. ( from Lilly )
Hmmm... is that a samurai drawing his sword in the window on the left-side wing of the hotel? A mystery indeed...
18 Nov 2013 11:44pm
It looks like it should be in The Shining.
19 Nov 2013 1:34am
I think you've begun something here. Joining one building with another could be a very creative outlet. Well done, Rick!
19 Nov 2013 2:21am
@Judy aka L@dybug: This idea is one we have used several times before on O2S and we are often as surprised as our Followers how 'convincing' the images can become. A very early attempt was published here and it remains a fave of ours because of where it took us. (L&R)
Double spooksville indeed! I love the merging of the two. I have to say it's fantastic how you make things that shouldn't go together really go together. We had that as a topic last week for our design class and it was a task! My favorite bit here, is that lady behind the window to the left....lovely!
19 Nov 2013 2:23am
@Abena: Smiles . . thank you. This is one of our posting where we added a few details after we had originally gone live . . somehow, that keeps the image 'current'. (Ronnie)
Hey, is that Alfred Hitchcock in the second floor window?/ He always makes a great cameo appearance doesn't he? (or DID)..
19 Nov 2013 2:53am
@Denny Jump Photo: Yes, he was great at those appearances . .
It is eerie. Would have been great for Halloween. Nice photo .
19 Nov 2013 6:10am
Beautiful old building, but somehow sinister looking!
Happy Day ,my good friends Lilly and Ronnie!
19 Nov 2013 7:11am
Extraordinaire, ce montage... BRAVO!!!
19 Nov 2013 7:45am
I prefer to sleep in my car...
19 Nov 2013 8:11am
Etrange mais efficace , pour moi ce sera une nuit dans chaque extension avec petit déjeuner
19 Nov 2013 10:43am
@philmess: Vérifier le bacon pour tatouages. (Ronnie)
This is great! and I guess that somewhere it really exists! (:-) Those clouds behind are the final touch which makes the scene credible. You should have posted it for Halloween.
19 Nov 2013 2:09pm
This hotel is The Shining example of a place I would not stay. In the dead of winter, the room rates alone scare me because you have to pay a King's ransom! Eeeek...
19 Nov 2013 2:47pm
very great capture and post prod 5***
19 Nov 2013 2:51pm
19 Nov 2013 3:04pm
Wow ...Superb ! Is there really two photos there ?
19 Nov 2013 3:31pm
@Mhelene: There really is ! (Ronnie)
very spooky, indeed. the gloomy atmosphere add to the spookiness.
19 Nov 2013 4:57pm
Wooo.... superbe hôtel.... )
19 Nov 2013 5:08pm
Oh WOW!! Well done on the merging. I see a red ghostly figure in one of Ronnie's windows, so it must be a ghost house;)
19 Nov 2013 7:57pm
@kiwisa: Yes, she was actually there . . no cloning ! (R)
5 * and a remix, I definitely LOVE it !
19 Nov 2013 8:36pm
@Florence: Awwww . . you are so kind to us ! Thankyou. ( L&R )
Marvelous! Gorgeous architecture and fantastic sky!
19 Nov 2013 11:28pm
@Jackie: Thanks, Jackie. ( L&R )
Lilly, I would more happily meet the lady in red in the new wing than the shadowy lady of the old wing, or is that our "Maitre d'hotel" trying an old dress ?
19 Nov 2013 11:46pm
@ripple: Old habits die hard, as they say . . . ( from Lilly )
Very well done !! Spook indeed !!!
20 Nov 2013 3:24am
Wow - what a gorgeous building and nicely photographed. The ramshackle "HOTEL" sign seems out of place, like smeared lipstick on a well dressed lady.
20 Nov 2013 4:14am
20 Nov 2013 6:16am
Je vais aller plus loin ! Bonne journée
20 Nov 2013 9:05am
Une belle composition!!!! j'aime++++
20 Nov 2013 9:19am
I like it, fantastic result.
20 Nov 2013 12:40pm
@Willem: Thanks, Willem . . this was a fun one to work on ! (Ronnie)
'Double Spooksville'... I really like the name! :)
20 Nov 2013 1:43pm
@tyan: You have reminded us of how little time we spend on the dialog - we just say it and that's the way it stays ! Thanks, Tyan. ( from Lilly )
Wonderful capture and treatment! Great sky!
20 Nov 2013 2:41pm
Super édifice ave cces contraste entre les parties rond et carrée
20 Nov 2013 2:53pm
Hmmm spooky? I think not! I wanna make a reservation, please. Excellent blending of one picture to the other by the way. It's almost impossible to tell that they're two different buildings from two different location!
20 Nov 2013 3:01pm
20 Nov 2013 3:31pm
Ronnie, your part has some bigger windows, the interior is brighter, There, I'm sure that nothing wrong can happen ... or maybe yes.
20 Nov 2013 4:21pm
@El pare: I don't think I'd like to take a chance on it either side, Manel. (Ronnie)
that is such super-cool architecture!!
20 Nov 2013 6:17pm
@john4jack: . . not sure I'd want to live opposite, though ! (Ronnie)
excellent architectural composition...
20 Nov 2013 6:32pm
@Olivier: Thanx, Olivier - welcome to O2S ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
Fantastic contrast !!
20 Nov 2013 9:06pm
Double the chills and atmosphere - excellent!
21 Nov 2013 6:32am
My favorite type of Two Sense photo!!! Combining images to make them look like one. :-) Excellent!!! I think there may actually be some buildings that look like this one.
22 Nov 2013 4:42pm
Une belle ambiance fantomatique avec des détails d'architecture très remarquables.
23 Nov 2013 9:08am
@ceteceva: Merci - avoir un grand weeekend ! (L&R )
