Lilly : I'm puzzled by this mystery folder hidden under my hedge - any ideas ?
Ronnie : I have just the place to take it for analysis, Lilly.
Lilly : Awww, bless you - you were the elementary choice.

A great plot line begins here - I hope we see the mystery solved! Reminds me that the new Sherlock should be on TV soon...

How do you find all those interesting subjects. Admire you.
21 Nov 2013 7:23am
Are you hedging your bets with the case of the discarded folio ?
21 Nov 2013 7:57am
Finding an antique Polaroid is probably as big a thrill as finding old negatives at the bottom of a drawer! How many Holmes had one of these "instant" cameras in the 60s and 70s?
21 Nov 2013 8:13am
@Curly: Is that the 1860's you are thinking of, Curly ? That was before dear old George Eastman got started on roll film ! (Ronnie)
You couldn't have found a better place .......
Lovely reflection in the museum window!!
21 Nov 2013 8:35am
@Ellebelle: Yes, usually as I pass by, the place is crowded and with long queues for the museum but it was clear of both that day. (Ronnie)
I particularly like the reflections in the museum window.
21 Nov 2013 9:03am
@Willem: Yes, when I took the shot, I was thinking of polarizing those reflections out - real glad I didn't, now. Happens. (Ronnie)
you have an excllent idea, Ronnie! :)
.
very nice!
so beautiful frame, colors, lights & reflections!
21 Nov 2013 12:12pm

21 Nov 2013 1:39pm
i really like the museum photograph!
21 Nov 2013 2:18pm
Oh! I missed that museum! Next time I must visit Baker street!
Some years ago I was passing in Northumberland Avenue on my way to Trafalgar Sq. when I stumbled by chance on a curious restaurant-pub: http://www.trekearth.com/gallery/Europe/United_Kingdom/photo1265682.htm - Your composition reminded it to me... (:-)
Very British! ...and enjoyable.
21 Nov 2013 2:44pm
@Longroute: Oh, yes, I know where that is - down towards the River near Embankment. (Ronnie)
love Sherlock Homes!! and this is such an excellent idea !
totally loving it ! :D
21 Nov 2013 4:24pm
Quite a shocking contrast between Lilly's discarded books folder and the loving care books must get in the Holmes museum. That is a beautiful museum for sure.
21 Nov 2013 5:37pm
Excellent. J'aimerais bien faire un tour au musée Holmes
21 Nov 2013 5:39pm
"How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth, my dear Ronnie?
21 Nov 2013 5:50pm
Excellent capture of the storefront with the beautiful reflections in the window!!
21 Nov 2013 6:00pm
Brilliant shot! I love the store front with the reflections in the window.
21 Nov 2013 6:36pm
The image of the museum is just beautiful! I love the reflection in the window. Something tells me that Arlo has a hand in Lilly's mystery folder!
21 Nov 2013 6:52pm
@Elaine Hancock: Smiles . . thank you, Elaine. Yes, Arlo has been very quiet lately - that is when he is most dangerous. (Ronnie)
Oh ! Like the facade and the lovely reflection. Great compo !
21 Nov 2013 7:01pm
Lilly's folder looks like some sort of magic info folder. Handle with care. Especially if Arlo has not been seen lately. Ronnie, the reflections in the museum window are brilliant! I must say I would love to visit that museum. I am a SH fan of many years.
21 Nov 2013 7:38pm
@Ruthiebear: Yes, each time I walk by there are long queues waiting to enter . . there are several floors above the shop set up as a museum and a study said to be 'as he left it'. (Ronnie)
Ha, I love a bit of fun! Great shot and concept Ronnie. Lovely clear crisp image too. Like this very much!
21 Nov 2013 8:00pm
Oh my God, this is my folder. Every day I'm more and more absent-minded.
Lovely reflections in the windows.
21 Nov 2013 9:58pm
@El pare: Manel - why is your AM3 site not responding ??!
very nicely done, this mystery puzzle! :-))
21 Nov 2013 10:19pm
Tell you what I'm puzzled by... Lilly's robot hand. The game is afoot...
21 Nov 2013 10:50pm
@Daryl Johnson: She sure leaves no fingerprints. (R)
Excellent capture! Very good idea and beautiful presentation!
22 Nov 2013 12:05am
I like how the "polaroid" frame looks like a magnifying glass examining a clue. The overlap to the Holmes bookstore therefore deepens the mystery.
22 Nov 2013 4:14am
@Harry: Thank you - that's a rather forensic thought ! (Ronnie)
@Jacques Brassard: Thanx, Jacques - have a great w/e. ( L&R )

22 Nov 2013 12:12pm

22 Nov 2013 4:20pm
In this one, the dialogue is what I most enjoy, though, the photo on the right is very good.
22 Nov 2013 4:40pm
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have obviously loved this one dear ! In Baker Street ?
22 Nov 2013 7:30pm
@Florence: Yes, 221B I do believe. Have a lovely weekend, Florence. (Ronnie)
I too, like the reflection.
22 Nov 2013 11:37pm

Yes ! in French it's "élémentaire mon cher Watson" BTW I love this entrance !
23 Nov 2013 7:59am
@Veronique: "élémentaire mon cher Watson" - it sounds so much better like that ! (Ronnie)
De chouettes reflets qui laissent planer le mystère.

@Martine Libouton: Merci - Happy Sunday ! ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
Sherlock Holmes? Do customers have to wear a cape and pipe ?
25 Nov 2013 1:04am
@CrashRyan: A guy standing outside sure did ! (Ronnie)
Well...I used to watch the old series on TV, it was attractive! But the new series, with that young actor...leaves me completely...cold! Anyway...in my youth I greatly favoured Agatha Christie, her English was and is BEST QUALITY! (Makes me wonder if any of the Britishers nowadays speak it as beautifully?!)
25 Nov 2013 8:19am
@Japanalia: Some painful truths in your words there, Gabriella . . English is not wot it woz. (Ronnie)
