28 Apr 2014 9:39am
@J.R.: It does look like it has gone nevergreen, sadly . . (Ronnie)
Don't worry Ronnie, I appreciate your stylish elegance... born of lack of horticultural awareness though it may be...
28 Apr 2014 9:49am
@Daryl Johnson: 'stylish elegance' - I might get that printed on a shirt next time I'm in Primark. (Ronnie)
Leaf it out Ronnie and stick to what you know. Like it or not
this branching out has gone to pot
28 Apr 2014 10:04am
@grouser: When I bought it, guy said it was a bonsai . . more likely a gonsai. (Ronnie Duped)

28 Apr 2014 10:36am
I planted a little tree several years ago. I failed to take care of it, and the tree fell all leaves. But this spring, I found some new green leaves ! The tree has not been dead yet.
28 Apr 2014 11:34am
@Hiro: This is what I hope, too !! (Ronnie)
Leaves can leave, no problem ;) Illusion Méliès movies like is such a comfort to deal with loss of all kinds !
As I understand, the ancient art of Ikebana is based on shape, line and form. If we overlook the other essential element of giving life to flowers, then Ikebana has found a new disciple!

Leaves or no leaves that is the question! A stunning work Ronnie!
28 Apr 2014 12:46pm
funnily we need to make our fingers green for the plants to get green too.
Unless they are very hardy plants.
28 Apr 2014 12:57pm
Best tell Lilly that Evergreens do not have leaves.....only needles! ;-))
28 Apr 2014 2:09pm
28 Apr 2014 2:26pm
28 Apr 2014 2:27pm
I'm feeling sad for Ronnie's plant.
28 Apr 2014 2:31pm
Oh ! Poor bonzaï, it is not more than the shadow of him even, Ronnie ! And Lilly, the green hand to Ronnie also misses;)
28 Apr 2014 2:57pm
Don't despair Ronnie! You just need to run to the local craft store and buy some of those little fake leaves and some superglue and you'll be all set!
28 Apr 2014 3:08pm

28 Apr 2014 3:25pm
@Judy aka L@dybug: Well, I tried . . (Ronnie)
I think Ronnie has a blind spot, as he seems to be on the wrong side of the shade.
28 Apr 2014 3:59pm
@B. Thomas: He's been on the wrong side of the shade of years, Barbara . . best not to mention. ( from Lilly )
Beautiful shadow captured against the shade Lilly!! I am still waiting to see how Ronnie's tree that he is growing from an acorn is doing. :-)
28 Apr 2014 5:21pm
@Steven: Oh, last he said he had six oak trees growing but they are only 7 inches tall - awaiting re-potting, I think. But, yes, alive ! ( from Lilly )

28 Apr 2014 7:47pm
Hahahahaha !!! "was" it a bonsaï ?
28 Apr 2014 8:59pm
@Veronique: . . that's what the guy told me - more like a 'gonsai' . . (Ronnie)
maybe, it's time to open your blinds, ronnie, so your plant can see it's already spring? ;-))
28 Apr 2014 9:02pm
I think yours is a Larch, Ronnie. They drop their leaves although this one may have dropped its for that last time.
29 Apr 2014 12:11am
@Steve Rice: Guy said to talk to it, Steve . . went thru all the exciting times of my life in detail and all that happened was the leaves fell off. (Ronnie)

Une juxtaposition contrastée ! En fonction de l'humeur changeante, l'une ou l'autre composition me conviendrait mais je préfère quand même une déco avec feuilles !
30 Apr 2014 9:04am
@ceteceva: Clairement exprimée - avoir une bonne semaine, my friend. (Ronnie)
Pas de problème Ronnie, les plantes ont droit à une éternelle renaissance.

30 Apr 2014 9:31pm
But Evergreen is such a wonderful song! It most certainly makes up for the absence of plant prolific-ness, don't you think? ;-) Ps you two thank you both so much for always being so kind! A Big Sidney Greenstreet hello!
