You may regret this Lilly, I suspect a friend of Ronnies may have a hand in heating the iron !!!
14 Jul 2014 6:02am
@Doug: I cannot think who you mean . . . (Ronnie)
Now ironing is one of my weak points, but I think even I would cringe if that happened. Although if you want some creases ironing in where they aren't supposed to go, then I am your man.
14 Jul 2014 6:54am
@Jean-Luc T.: Malheureusement, oui. . have a good week. (Ronnie)
@Stephen: Yes, it is likely to follow me around, I fear. (Ronnie)
Woooo..... comme toi Ronnie ça m'arrive !.... :)))))))
14 Jul 2014 9:26am
@tataray: Oui, eu des ennuis ici . . (R)
Ha, love this one, have a Flat Iron on my stove, too hot to handle !
14 Jul 2014 9:34am
@Brockaly: Yes, thus that cloth ! (Ronnie)
Now that's more the kind of brand you might expect from Arlo. Scorchio like the summer
14 Jul 2014 10:00am
@grouser: "Scorchio" - that sounds a good name for one of Arlo's boys ! (Ronaldo)
@Veronique: Well, I've consulted Arlo and he cannot imagine who you are all thinking of . . (Ronnie)
Hahaha, super (short) photo presentation.
14 Jul 2014 11:03am
Lily...yes..I gree how cn you ever forget the indelible/ineffceble/inerdicble/ermnent/lsting/endurble ...cts of kindness?Excuse me...the comp. is weird..the firstletter in the second row is not working :(((((
14 Jul 2014 11:24am
Hehe, love the browns tones, no risk for me i sit down and voilà, my pants are "made" ;))
14 Jul 2014 11:59am
@Hiro: Good point . . unmistakable !
I sense Arlo's hand in this episode Ronnie! ;-))
14 Jul 2014 1:00pm
Lilly, HOT would remind ME of Ronnie's dear friend, ARLO. To allow Ronnie to do anything with HOT involved, is a heated mistake. His use of that iron is more like a branding iron. Arlo has taught him too well. Better say goodbye to the table cloth, I am afraid it is going up in smoke.
14 Jul 2014 2:00pm
@Ruthiebear: Arlo declined to appear in this one - but he was acting as art director. (Ronnie)
Superb photo, the play of light on the bricks and a cloth you would not want to see
a stain on, very hot !~
14 Jul 2014 2:35pm
Love the bricks line up! Very hard stamping here!
14 Jul 2014 2:40pm
@grouser: I think Arlo has a drum of that out back. (R)
I don't think Lilly thought you would have done it with the antique iron.
14 Jul 2014 5:09pm
@Steven: But you can see why I thought it appropriate - scorch marks like that were common in the late-1800's, I'm sure. (Ronnie) and so were floggings, Ronnie ( from Lilly )
Ronnie, you'd better strike while the iron is hot. Oops, in this case, I think you struck out.
14 Jul 2014 5:44pm
@B. Thomas: ha ha . . yes, nice one ! (R)
At the end the intention is what matters, and better for Ronnie to be this way.
14 Jul 2014 7:34pm
Just where is Arlo hiding today? ;D
14 Jul 2014 8:49pm
maybe you can advise lilly to put 'too' above 'hot', ronnie?? :-))
14 Jul 2014 9:39pm
You definitely made your mark Ronnie! I don't think that we have heard the end to this story yet!
14 Jul 2014 10:52pm
It's the thought that counts, Ronnie. In this case, both yours and Arlo's.
14 Jul 2014 11:10pm
I am guessing it burnt since he ironed off to the side and missed the sign. Nice photo.
A sincere diplomat is like dry water or wooden iron.
14 Jul 2014 11:35pm
An antique iron for an antique tablecloth, but it looks more like siding above the brick wall. A well illustrated point.
14 Jul 2014 11:47pm
Just want to say another wonderful matching.
15 Jul 2014 4:00am
Have you burned the tablecloth or modern design?
fantastic ronnie
15 Jul 2014 6:39am
@Melocoton: I call it the 'antique look', Pablo . . (Ronnie)
Superbe composition pour cette photo!!! j'aime++++
15 Jul 2014 8:38am
Hot story indeed!
i love the brown tones...great post!
15 Jul 2014 8:55am
@omid: Too late, I fear . . Arlo has some cream paint . . but . . (R)
I guess that's why permanent press sheets were developed :)
15 Jul 2014 2:31pm
@my-ky: Sadly, that scorch mark is kinda permanent, too, Deb . . (Ronnie)
C'est malheureux ,mais tu en as fais une belle composition !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15 Jul 2014 2:35pm
@claudie: Oui, il a fallu beaucoup de chaleur pour obtenir que brûler ! (R)
Great trademark left by Ronnie! Love the photos and the presentation! Very funny as always!
15 Jul 2014 7:26pm
@RBL: Smiles . . thank you, Ruthie. That glowing moonshot of yours was brilliant. (R)
Ay ay... little bicarb should take care of that Ronnie...
16 Jul 2014 7:46am
@Daryl Johnson: Arlo is trying to burn it out with gasoline and a little flame-thrower . . I'll try the bicarb next . . (Ronnie)
Lily is impressed - pardon the pun. Sadly her long suffering gets a little more singed than usual.
16 Jul 2014 1:17pm
Ronnie leaves his "print" everywhere he goes. A very funny post with a couple of very good pictures.
16 Jul 2014 2:06pm
Ouch!!! For sure it makes a great compo but seriously Ronnie, you have to buy a modern iron, they are perfect for the forgetful, they have a regulator of temperature! :-))
16 Jul 2014 6:26pm
@Evelyne Dubos: This one is kinda regulated - if it burns, it is too hot ! (Ronnie)
:)) The tablecloth is now signed and it has much more value so!
16 Jul 2014 7:36pm
I appreciate that your photographs are also short stories.
16 Jul 2014 7:37pm
I am sure she will never forget your gentle touch with the iron.
17 Jul 2014 2:46am
well executed scorch-it looks real!
17 Jul 2014 1:18pm
Good humor as usual! It looks tasty. I'm not sure why, maybe because I'm hungry and the burn reminds of pancake.
18 Jul 2014 5:17am
This image made me cringe in recognition of scorched items from my childhood--that is, items I scorched when ironing.
18 Jul 2014 6:25pm
@Anita: Yes, we've all been there . . (Ronnie)
Ha, thanks for the laugh again !
I hope too you will be back soon :)
19 Jul 2014 2:20pm
Oh no Lily - you did not let Ronnie loose with that iron.
19 Jul 2014 8:14pm
@kiwisa: He said he wanted a chance to prove himself, Frances. ( from Lilly )
making a brown difference is what I like it very much !! we can turn this antique tablecloth, to an unique one with our painting :-)) I'm in !
20 Jul 2014 9:25am
@Christine: You got that right!! But Ronnie means well . . ( from Lilly )

21 Jul 2014 2:39am

@NeGaH: Thank you - welcome to OurTwoSense. ( from Lilly )
@Hyaline: Oh, Mr. Ronnie is as OK as he ever is. ( from Lilly )
Une nappe blanche qui va terminer couleur brique!
21 Jul 2014 2:22pm
@Jean-Louis Guianvarc'h: I could have swung a brick wrapped in that cloth after seeing what he'd done, Jean-Lois. [J'aurais pu balancé une brique enveloppée dans ce tissu après avoir vu ce qu'il avait fait, Jean-Lois.] ( from Lilly )
Where have you been? Need some good cheer.
25 Jul 2014 1:38pm
@Ruthiebear: We are on a break . . out taking photographs for a change although agree the world is grim right now. ( L&R )
hahah very funny shot, your poor table cloth!!
27 Jul 2014 5:44pm
seems someone has spent too much time in the company of Arlo
28 Jul 2014 10:44am
Toujours très drôle et super créatif! Bravo, j'aime!
29 Jul 2014 12:47pm
@maximage: Merci - nous espérons être de retour l'affichage du lundi. / Thank you - we hope to be back posting from Monday. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
@Kat: Oui ! Nous sommes impatients d'être de retour et de poster la semaine prochaine. ( L&R)
Goodness is required in all living together. although the results are not as expected! In my language we have a phrase that well in their composition ... "If you want to be well served.'ve Made yourself a bed." Not if the translation is well done ...! my english is not lofty! A hug, Adela
30 Jul 2014 9:53am
@Adela Fonts: Well, your English is a few hundred kilometers better than my Spanish ! Thank you, Adela. (Ronnie)
Great composition ! My grandmother use it too, but it needs a good technic ! Unfortunately , I have no cook to warm it..... ;) See you soon
2 Aug 2014 8:14pm
@Ddo: Thank you . . yes, hard to imagine anyone using an iron like that for real. Interestingly, the iron shown here is stamped "46 Rue Des Abbesses" which I know to be in Paris. (Ronnie)
