Lilly : I have a mass of stapling to do and my stapler has bust - help me, Ronnie !
Ronnie : I can ship a replacement over - all it needs is a simple power supply.
Lilly : Last time you said that they had to run a cable up from the Gulf.

Go with a box of paper clips.

That a stapler that works without batteries is more reliable. The electrically driven is like a duplicator. It'll never work when it should.
1 Sep 2014 6:02am
@Jypyä Pop: All so true . .
Funny pictures. I have not seen the engine in the stapler before!:-))))))))))))))))))
Happy Monday, and the first of September, my good friend Lilly and Ronnie!
1 Sep 2014 6:30am
@Oiva: Thanks, Oiva - September happies to you, too !
1 Sep 2014 6:40am
very nice & amazing!
Please a little more quiet, Ronnie! ;)
1 Sep 2014 6:47am
@omid: Yes, the electric stapler is rather noisy as it has to wind a spring that fires the staple into the paper - but fun to watch ! (R)
1 Sep 2014 8:47am
Great contraste! Never see such a colorful stapler. Would like to have the same on my desk at work, small touch of welcome madness in a too much serious universe. :-)
1 Sep 2014 8:57am
@Evelyne Dubos: You can see it again here or find it on Amazon (US) here - not sure about France. (Ronnie)
Très beau ton montage! j'aime+++++
1 Sep 2014 9:13am
Could this be classified as 'clip' art?
1 Sep 2014 9:42am
@grouser: To us, this kinda thing is but a staple diet, Grouser. (R)
oh oh, an electronic circuit... a "diabolical" machine.... Make sure you Arlo is not around !!
1 Sep 2014 9:57am
@Graciel·la (Vic. Catalonia): True - he could use that stapler in his war with the elves. (Ronnie)
Très belle ton agrapheuse Ronnie....
J'aime cette transparence.))
1 Sep 2014 12:04pm
Blue, green, red... the replacement is really cute !
1 Sep 2014 12:06pm
Have you ever accidentally stapled your finger with one of those electric gadgets?!! I did one time. If anyone was napping in their cubicle, they certainly woke up when I screamed! And it wouldn't stop bleeding!
1 Sep 2014 2:00pm
A top flight picture combination and very funny comment.
1 Sep 2014 2:30pm

1 Sep 2014 4:08pm
... a power supply for a stapler ?? Lilly... believe me, if I where you, I'd go out for a new stapler right now ! or maybe must I remind you this ?? ;-)
1 Sep 2014 4:38pm
@Josep: Sound advice, Josep. I fear Arlo's hand in this somewhere. ( from Lilly )
A staple wizard eh incredible whatever next.
1 Sep 2014 5:06pm
Oh! with a simple power supply you made it so complicated! Excellent theme here!
1 Sep 2014 5:08pm
@mohkum: Ah, yes, the wonders of imagination ! (Ronnie)
this looks like "high tech sh..." for sure ... no matter how much energy it devours ... ;-)
1 Sep 2014 5:23pm
@franz: The surprising thing is, it works ! (Ronnie)
The progress is made here.
1 Sep 2014 5:58pm
Sometimes quick fixes take more time than they should - for example, how on earth do you put the staples in that electric powered stapler?
1 Sep 2014 6:13pm
@Ruthiebear: Oh, simply remove the batteries, unclip the transparent dome, release the red lever at the rear and wait for the staple drawer to emerge - refill and reverse the procedure. (Prof. Ronnie)
Superb machine !
1 Sep 2014 7:05pm
@Mhelene: I know - I keep looking for things to staple ! (Ronnie) Boys will be boys ( from Lilly )
Why did the Staple Wizard never catch on...?
1 Sep 2014 8:37pm
@Daryl Johnson: Batteries - they were the burden. (Ronnie)
Very interesting contrast. Cheers
1 Sep 2014 8:39pm
I do understand lilly and her suspicion!
"a simple power supply .."
for such a complicated thing?? ;-)))
1 Sep 2014 9:59pm
@curieuzeneuzemosterdpot: Indeed, my using the word 'simple' immediately puts Lilly on alert. (Ronnie)
It looks like a wizard to me. I'd give it a try just to watch the workings of the thing.
2 Sep 2014 12:40am
@Steve Rice: It is fascinating to watch and listen to and so much happens in about one second. (R)
A circuit board in a stapler! What next? Fine pair of shots.
2 Sep 2014 2:56am
@Harry: Crazy, huh ?
2 Sep 2014 3:10am
Ha. Well - the one on the left looks like mine- and the one on the right looks like a lot more fun!
There's a party in that stapler!! I once worked for GTE where I wired switchboards - transistors, soldering,
yep .. it all looks very familiar! : )
2 Sep 2014 3:56am
@Becky: Hello : so nice to see you posting again ! Sadly, the active members on AM3 have been falling away so it is always a comfort to see a return. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
Superbe jeu d'agrafeuse l'ancienne et celle électrique superbe.

Ronnie is very sophisticated!
2 Sep 2014 10:23am
@Tomix: I suppose that's one way of describing him. ( from Lilly )
Nice pictures of the 2 amazing staplers
2 Sep 2014 10:38am
A machine almost as exciting as this, Ronnie!
2 Sep 2014 1:13pm
@Stephen: I think I saw snake oil mentioned on that page ! (Ronnie)
You don't need a cable from the Gulf, Lilly. A Nuclear Power Plant should do the trick for Ronnie's replacement stapler.
2 Sep 2014 5:52pm
@B. Thomas: Arlo is studying nuclear physics - I'll consult him. ( from Lilly )
You also would appreciate an automatic hand to slot in the papers. Cool stapler.
2 Sep 2014 6:08pm
That is a cute stapler-and fun to watch for kids, I would surmise.
3 Sep 2014 10:45am
Another sign of the times, rampant capitalism, etc, etc, blah.
3 Sep 2014 11:16am
Pourquoi faire simple quand on peut faire compliqué ?
Joliment vu !
3 Sep 2014 2:24pm
@ryse: ha ha . . oui ! (Ronnie)
Ha ha - you're onto it Lilly - it could get very complicated.
3 Sep 2014 7:51pm
@kiwisa: Any simple thing with Ronnie gets complicated, Kiwisa. ( from Lilly )
No, I think it's ok, Lilli...I think I see the chipmunk and the wheel in the right hand portion of the apparatus.....but,,,,,excuse me , I need to have another drink so I can finish the bottle of Dewars....Be rat back, er, rung back, er ....!
4 Sep 2014 12:25am
I've noticed some active members missing each time I make my way back to here. It's always such a joy for me to come back and find you and some of the others that I feel there is history with. It's much like the way families move on away from one another, isn't it? Time and space.. an odd concept in reality. Whatever that is. : )
4 Sep 2014 3:39am
@Becky: Ah, yes, long gone are the times when 800 folks would post an image on a day - now, we are down to 275 if we are lucky and less if we are not. If you go back to 2011, it is kinda nostalgic to read the 100 names of the Commentators. Life moves on. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
No wonder it is wizard .
5 Sep 2014 12:04pm
I like Ronnie's colorful stapler, but, does it work?
6 Sep 2014 10:20am

7 Sep 2014 8:48pm
