Lilly : This chair reminded me of that silly tree-stump thing you sit on.
Ronnie : Hey, I like the 'stump' - it kinda grows on me.
Lilly : So I see . .

:)

very nice!
Amazing & lovely!
...
I love your chair, Ronnie! ;)
22 Sep 2014 6:31am
@Batisse: You will need a maintenance contract with it ! (Ronnie)
and I prefer the chair of fred flintstone, jajaj, great ronnie
22 Sep 2014 7:16am
@Melocoton: Thanks, Pedro - like something out of Hollyhock ! Have a good week ! (Ronnie)
Lilly's chair looks like it has been a bit close to one of Arlo's barbecues while Ronnies looks like the perfect site for his next one :0
22 Sep 2014 10:07am
@grouser: ha ha . . well put, G'ser ! (Ronnie)
I love the stump Ronnie...It looks solid and secure.
as for Lily's...egad!!! God knows whether it will entwine my neck when no one is around!! It looks like a witch in disguise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
22 Sep 2014 10:25am
@Devi: 'a witch' !! lol . . you are right. (Ronnie)
L. had a tube of mayonnaise and created a chair and you with a block of wood....:-0
Both are very nice
22 Sep 2014 10:47am
@mvdfotokraam: Yes, so many different ways of seeing it! ( from Lilly )
Well it looks somewhat an approved seat! or nature friendly!!
22 Sep 2014 11:16am
@mohkum: Definitely 100% natural ! (R)
Both of those chairs do not look that comfortable!
22 Sep 2014 11:27am
I like nature and I like most of your tree-stump ... especially when branches grow on you. Did you feel a KING! As always excellent! Best, Adela
22 Sep 2014 11:51am
La blanche ne me paraît pas très confortable, j'opte pour la souche mais as-tu un petit coussin ?
Bon lundi
22 Sep 2014 12:23pm
@ryse: Oui, un coussin serait bon! (R)
I think Ronnie's is best suited for flat bottoms ... Lily's, well I'm not sure. ;D
22 Sep 2014 12:41pm
@Hiro: A good investment, yes ?!!
Is that where you sit to hold court with your woodland friends Ronnie?
22 Sep 2014 2:25pm
@Daryl Johnson: You have me wondering if Arlo prompted you to ask that question ! (Ronnie)
Lilly's chair looks like it could wrap itself around you and take a choke hold! Ronnie's chair looks like it will become a tree again before long. Both very unique chairs!
22 Sep 2014 2:37pm
Two great images with funny comment. It works for me.
22 Sep 2014 2:44pm
@Shaahin Bahremand: Thank you.
Ha..nice match, interesting tree chair...:-)
22 Sep 2014 3:33pm
Ronnie's chair is looking more like a throne over time. Those branches will soon be a canopy for shade. However, Lilly's chair/s look rather intriguing.
22 Sep 2014 4:37pm
The trunk is more comfortable. With white, I think I would break his head.
22 Sep 2014 6:10pm
I fear I'd slither off the chair that Lilly spotted. And as long as Ronnie's throne is comfortable (knock on wood), it will last a long time before replacement. :-)
22 Sep 2014 6:37pm
Lilly, your chair looks like florescent light tubes gone amuk. IT scares me that it might light me up (especially if Arlo is nearby). Ronnie I like the solidity of your chair.
22 Sep 2014 7:59pm
Neither of those chairs look comfortable, so I think I'll remain standing for this visit:)
22 Sep 2014 8:05pm
ronnie, sitting on this throne, you must be the king of the forest? :-))
22 Sep 2014 9:29pm
Woow Both are incredible samples of a ... really uncomfortable chair ! :) And both are great discoveries !! ;-)
22 Sep 2014 9:37pm
We had some trees cut down and it was tempting to make a chair like that.
23 Sep 2014 12:02am
@Michael Rawluk: Yes, this was a tree taken out by a storm last winter - it lives on ! (Ronnie)
Lilly, must be a cafe chair - made of spaghetti!
23 Sep 2014 9:51am
@Stephen: It was an oddity - wish I'd made notes, now! ( from Lilly )
Both are fine. They are unique. It will raise their value significantly.
23 Sep 2014 10:48am
Fun chairs! I would like to sit on a tree stump in a chair, seems to be a nice, decent under the pillow!:-)))))))))))))))))Haleja.
Happy ST ,my good friends Lilly and Ronnie!
23 Sep 2014 11:10am
well, if this isn't art ...
what i would do is sit in the stump chair and place the other one right in front of me so that i could study it at leisure ... ;-)
23 Sep 2014 11:59am
@franz: I thought for moment you were going to put your feet on it ! (Ronnie)
I wonder if my stump-sitting foxes would like your chair, Ronnie. I can just imagine the photos. ;-)
23 Sep 2014 1:39pm
@B. Thomas: Oh, yes - wouldn't that be wonderful !! (Ronnie)
Avec un bon coussin, le trône de Ronnie est sans doute beaucoup plus confortable que cette chaise à l'allure instable...
23 Sep 2014 3:26pm
@Jean-Louis Guianvarc'h: Oui, mon fauteuil est certainement stable ! (Ronnie)
Wood vs. pasta- I choose wood. Nicely done - Happy ST
23 Sep 2014 3:33pm
Imagine picking a cushion to match...either?):-
23 Sep 2014 9:06pm
@Ted: Sawdust filling for me ! (Ronnie)
I can't work out which be the more comfortable...
24 Sep 2014 6:53am
Wowww!! Superb , impresive these two chairs!!
Art, art and art!!
Love it!
24 Sep 2014 10:55am
@Lalena: Thank you !
:) I like your stump Ronnie...
as matter of fact I wish I had one!
24 Sep 2014 2:14pm
@HODA: There is always one growing somewhere . . don't leave us ! (Ronnie)
Loving the natural one Ronnie, but I have to say, given time, Lilly's might grow on me :)
24 Sep 2014 3:19pm
@my-ky: Yes, either would be a talking point but Lilly's would increase in value while the cost of having mine cut and cleared away might grow with time. (Ronnie) Oh, what a pleasing thought, Ronnie. ( from Lilly )
It would be great to have reclining trees, so the wooden chair would be much comfortable.
24 Sep 2014 6:54pm
@Francisco Romero: Good advice . . but perhaps 75 years too late for this one ! (Ronnie)
I don't know which is the crazier chair, but while Ronnie's may "grow" on you, I would be afraid to sit in Lilly's for fear it would come alive and trap me in its tentacles.
25 Sep 2014 4:05am
@Harry: Indeed . . either could become the stuff of nightmares . . (Ronnie)
Not confortable but like the different design! :-)
25 Sep 2014 9:32am
Très intéressante comparaison de sièges inconfortables et à choisir je préfère le bois !
25 Sep 2014 10:07am
Ronnie, I think yours might be much more comfortable by the looks of it.
28 Sep 2014 3:48am
I thought that 3D printers could produce decent substitute bones and organs, but after what can be seen here I've changed my mind. Ronnie, when do I come to collect my new wooden brain?
3 Oct 2014 11:15am
the tree stump chair is a brilliant idea! i want one too!
