@Nicou: Merci - il est si rapide ! (Ronnie)
All living things would respond to Lilly's tender cares! I am harvesting the last of my spuds now.
23 Feb 2015 6:24am
@Maxine: I am not sure how tall a potato plant will grow . . it is already 12 inches / 300mm after ten days ! (Ronnie)

23 Feb 2015 7:02am
in my eyes meaningful potato photography still is greatly underestimated... glad to see you´re most succesfully working on changing that! let it grow, grow, grow :)
23 Feb 2015 7:41am
@oliver stephanus: Thank you for the encouragement - I'll pass it on to the potato ! (Ronnie)

23 Feb 2015 8:23am
@Doug: Yes, Arlo is keeping rather quiet . . a bad sign. (Ronnie)
@jpla: Vous devez vous lever tôt pour éviter Nicou ! (R)
Everything has an origin !

23 Feb 2015 12:24pm
Haha reminds me of a kid growing a potato to use in a spud gun. Great fun.
23 Feb 2015 5:07pm
Well Ronnie you may be lucky and get a gourmet potato from your planting;)
23 Feb 2015 6:57pm
Je pense qu'il faut attendre la récolte pour être sûr de la paternité!

I never would have thought that a potato could be planted and grow!! I wonder how your oak tree is coming along?? :-)
23 Feb 2015 10:13pm
@Steven: Well, it's true what you see - and, yes, the oak trees are without leaves right now but look set to bud for spring ! (Ronnie)
A beginning a middle and an end in three layered photo - quite interesting.
24 Feb 2015 1:07am
There was someone once in my office where I worked that planted a potato and the plant grew all around the office, along the window sill and over the cabinet. So, give it some good light and talk to it Ronnie!
24 Feb 2015 2:34am
@Elaine Hancock: Already, I am seeing the beginnings of this - it is growing so fast !! (Ronnie)
Keep it growing skywards and send Arlo up there - just like Jack and the Beanstalk!
24 Feb 2015 11:11am
So, is This where that American Beer(?) slogan comes from? You know: "This Spud's for You!" ...? Amazing :-)
24 Feb 2015 11:30am

This brings back memories. WHen I was in college, I had junior practicum in a fifth grade classroom. Several of my classmates were also in my group. One day we decided it was time for the students to clean out their desks. We absolutely roared, when one student, (I remember his name, Brad) pulled out a growing potato from the back of his desk. It looked very much like the sprouts on yours, Ronnie!!! Thanks for a good laugh and a great memory!
25 Feb 2015 2:06pm
@Ruthiebear: Aww . . that's a nice memory to have prompted - I'm amazed how vigorous the plant is now it has been encouraged ! (Ronnie)
Only Ronnie would bother to grow a potato as a house paint! Nice one.
25 Feb 2015 3:46pm
@Don - Slackwater: I haven't got the cash for a farm, Don ! (Ronnie)
Great forms. On the tecnical side, great cropping of the pot and shoots.
25 Feb 2015 6:34pm
@Francisco Romero: Thank you - yes, the pot was more difficult that I expected and this was the third attempt ! (Ronnie)
Quelle "patate" tu as !!!!!!......
J'ai déjà fait pousser comme ça, c'est très drôle le résultat. .....)
26 Feb 2015 7:10am
ah, the joy of growing zhnigs and watching them in the process ...
but to what purpose ?!? if i watch the torture instruments in lilly's part, the future of your spud looks somewhat ominous ... ;-)
26 Feb 2015 8:22am
@franz: Yes, I can easily see this will end in a tragedy . . (Ronnie)
Well...Ronnie dear...I hope you'll let us know how the crop comes out!
26 Feb 2015 1:16pm
@Japanalia: There is lots to learn, I find - doubt I'll be doing it right first time ! (Ronnie)
So? He wasn't mashed or grilled...only impaled...and You should be surprised Lily...that this potato has come out of all those homicidal procedures and braving it above the soil....
I just had a yummy jacket potato with oodles of butter and pepper powder ;))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
26 Feb 2015 3:25pm
ah ! ah !
27 Feb 2015 9:59am
@ryse: Smiles - merci. . avoir un grand week-end. (Ronnie)

Just imagine two potatoes heads like that one at the end of the green stalks...ah ...ah...Superb !
28 Feb 2015 3:45pm
@Mhelene: haha . . yes, that would be great. Someone has told me to heap soil around the stalks and I think the potatoes grow there - all new to me ! (Ronnie)
@Marilla: We shall have to wait and see . . .
Nicely chitted Ronnie. It must be the hot house environment you live in
