Lilly : Be honest, Ronnie - would you travel in a pink bus ?
Ronnie : I tend to be a little more traditional, Miss Lilly.
Lilly : Oh, yes - and those guys are dressed a bit like you, too.

Point is....you can find a PINK bus in many places in the world...even in Japan, for that matter....But Ronnie's shot belongs to a unique location, including status, tradition, refinement...and HORSES!!!!
16 Mar 2015 6:57am
@Japanalia: Yes, you are right there . . 'status' - I like that ! (Ronnie)
actually i would´ve loved to hear ronnies´ answer to lillys´ last statement... ;) and: the bus for me, please! just to experience how it accelerates without the tail touching ground - that overhang is ridiculous!
16 Mar 2015 7:19am
@oliver stephanus: Yes, that overhand is pure U-S-A ! (Ronnie)
Superbe contraste modernité et chevaux d'antan, couleur claquante et sobriété !
16 Mar 2015 7:55am
Give me two horse power any day, I feel you would be the one in the pink here Ronnie !
16 Mar 2015 8:10am
I love them both, Ronny... and you are in the picture with both of them!!
;-))))))))
16 Mar 2015 8:20am
100 years of gap ! Ronnie likes to travel 100 years ago :))
16 Mar 2015 8:29am
I wish we could go back to the old days ......... no car accidents, no noise, no exhaust gasses .......... You go, Ronnie :-)
16 Mar 2015 9:30am
@Ellebelle: Well, I'm sure they did have accidents with horses . . and exhaust gasses of a different kind ! (Ronnie)
:)))))
very nice shots!
...
I'm with you in travel, Ronnie! :)
16 Mar 2015 9:51am
@omid: I wanna ride up front behind the driver ! (Ronnie)
I like both, I can't decide. I would like to travel snowy rural area by the pink bus, and I would like to travel big city by the traditional one.
16 Mar 2015 11:34am
16 Mar 2015 11:46am
After reading down through the comments, I think I'll stick with natural gas! ;D
16 Mar 2015 12:37pm
The wheel base on the bus is of some concern, particularly with a quantity of passengers of the super size persuasion on the back seat.
16 Mar 2015 12:48pm
@grouser: Yes, and imagine driving that in snow and ice ! (R)
. (Ronnie)
Pink is not just a color, it's an attitude...but I think I'd prefer a colorful adventure in the carriage.
16 Mar 2015 2:17pm
Hmmm skidding with the front wheels off the ground could be a life changing experience :0
16 Mar 2015 3:00pm
@grouser: . . smiles . . that sure is some overhang !
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
AWESOME!
Loke the street scene
Great vintage
16 Mar 2015 4:25pm
. toujours voulu. (Ronnie)
Excellent presentation. Good pictures and good dialogue between R and L ... It's nice smile with delight in visits to your site! Best regards, Adela
16 Mar 2015 5:36pm
I think I have found just the thing to please Lilly and you too, Ronnie pink
Pink is the new black.
16 Mar 2015 6:19pm
@Ruthiebear: Oh. my . . now, that is a delight !! ( from Lilly )
No - never. I cannot even start to imagine Ronnie in a Pink bus. However, I see his mode of transport is confused, - it looks like a horse and carriage but clearly states it is a zebra???? :)
16 Mar 2015 7:30pm
@kiwisa: My guess is the destination is Confusion. Ronnie will feel at home there. ( from Lilly )
No I cannot see Ronnie travelling in the big pink bus either, but I can see him buying the Grate polish for Lilly (it can also be use to "black the front step" )
16 Mar 2015 8:19pm
@Curly: Ah, yes, those were the days, Mr. Curly ! (Ronnie)
Oh, that pink bus is blinding against the pristine white snow!! I would definitely prefer the horse-drawn carriage. Interesting to note the one horse who has one black hoof in comparison to the other hoofs in view.
16 Mar 2015 8:47pm
@Steven: Well-spotted on the black hoof - I noticed that at the time and should have asked one of the guys. (Ronnie)
I can't picture Ronnie in the pink bus either.
16 Mar 2015 10:59pm
@Irene: I am truly grateful, Irene. (Ronnie)
I like how those men are dressed. Rather stylish I would think. (I don't think I have ever seen a pink bus so pink)!
17 Mar 2015 1:01am
@Elaine Hancock: 'Stylish' . . there's a word I seldom hear. (Stylish Ronnie)
I wonder whether the pink bus has a platform on the front for the driver. But I'm sure he'd be wearing a big top hat ... Drivers have a standard to maintain, after all.
17 Mar 2015 2:27am
@Harry: haha . . what a picture that paints ! (R)
17 Mar 2015 8:06am
@Martine: Merci, Martine - ont une bonne semaine ! (L&R)
Relive the old times, but let the pink bus stand, which lets you take in the month of October.
17 Mar 2015 8:52am
Oats and hay can be very expensive. Think pink and stay in the black, Ronnie!
17 Mar 2015 9:38am
@Ellebelle: Yes, I know what you mean . . (Ronnie)
Nic
17 Mar 2015 2:41pm
@Nicou: Merci, Nicou. (L&R)
The old bus driver's eyes wet. The two-story horse-drawn vehicle is something great, feels that horses may not be too great to pull that kind of along the stone streets. It is pink in the second picture ... oh dear.
17 Mar 2015 6:33pm
Then the choice is not difficult:-)
but the bus is faster at this time
Beautiful photo's
17 Mar 2015 8:38pm
I am also classic ronnie, more romantic horses, great composition
18 Mar 2015 7:47am
@Melocoton: Thanks, Pablo - hope the week is going well for you. (Ronnie)
18 Mar 2015 3:11pm
@Tede: Yes, unmistakeably British . . or, rather, the way we once were. (Ronnie)
Ronnie, why do you dress like a horse?
18 Mar 2015 10:37pm
@Daryl Johnson: I hope you do not think I am the one with the mismatched shoes . . I do have some pride left. (Ronnie)
Something royal about the horse carriage Ronnie!! Excellent choice...the pink..well...er..er...a little outlandish...don't you think ?( Phew!! I am taking to my heels...I can hear Lily behind me with a sharp spera and sporting hobnailed boots :)))))))))))))))))
19 Mar 2015 7:22am
@Devi: 'Royal' . . I like that . . (Prince Ronnie)
Depends on the season but I would prefer the horse mobile most times. Yes I also wondered about the one black hoof. Is his name Michael Jackson the horse?
19 Mar 2015 3:26pm
@Bruce: ha ha . . amazing how far this posting can reach ! (R)
Are those neon green gloves I see on the traditionally dressed driver? Hmmm......
19 Mar 2015 4:05pm
@Anita: Ah, well-spotted . . they likely have more to do with current traffic regulations than any tradition ! (Ronnie)
@Olivier: "♫ . . we all live in a pinkish-colored bus, a pinkish-colored bus . . ♫ "
Haha ... first time seeing a pink bus and the horse with enclosed carriage looks pretty neat! Great photos and finds!
19 Mar 2015 8:24pm
Ronnie seems to like flashbacks to Sherlock Holmes' days... Maybe it's the mystery he craves...or hopes to emulate...
20 Mar 2015 7:07am
@Gemma Wiseman: Strange you should mention Sherlock Holmes . . this was in Baker Street, London ! (Ronnie)
@Ana Lúcia: I knew there would so someone . . ! (Ronnie)
The pink bus is cute, but the white horses are majestic.
20 Mar 2015 10:58am
Deux belles originalités dans des genres différents.
20 Mar 2015 4:07pm
Pink bus vs a royal horse carriage... not a tough decision :)
21 Mar 2015 8:19am
Great smiles here with Barbara and me as we read this many days late (sorry). But take heart Lilli- there is that great Aretha Franklin song "Riding Down the Freeway of Love in a Pink Cadillac"////so pink is in my dear!!
22 Mar 2015 12:21am
@Denny Jump Photo: Thank you, Denny - you always have an enlightening way of seeing our stuff. Appreciated. ( L&R )
@Sathya: Yes, there would be a good time for either, I thought. ( from Lilly )
...of course Ronnie will prefer to be on the white horses, particularly with that special decorations!
22 Mar 2015 12:55pm
that pink is killing me:))
and whats the story about the hoofs of the horse on the right side? one is black and the other is brown!
22 Mar 2015 9:05pm
@hoda soltani: Agree on the pink but cannot even guess on the hooves . . ! Welcome to the world of O2S. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
ronnie travels in style??
but the pink bus steals the show! ;-))
22 Mar 2015 10:00pm
@curieuzeneuzemosterdpot: Hooray - a supporter of the pink bus! ( from Lilly ) . . and welcome back. (Ronnie)
:)) I prefer the carriage horses but the association of both is extra !
23 Mar 2015 5:40pm
I don't like buses even they are pink... Is there a place for me in the "horse wagon", Ronnie?
25 Mar 2015 8:51am
@Marilla: I'm sure we can find you a place ! (R)
