Good they still are today on that lovely island.

May be I'll have a shelf put inside with five or six cell phones for hire...I mean you could come in here and use the phone for a pound ( I have only a Dollar symbol on my dashboard :) )for fifteen minutes!! Howzzat ?

So the world is changing. Turku is no longer a single telephone kiosks, since it is believed that everyone has a cell phone.

SUch a clever idea for recycling these beautiful booths. I will have to suggest it to a friend who has one in his back yard. Young people have no clue what phone booths are, all they know are photo booths. ANd poor SUperman!

A coffee shop, with six tables, in one of these. Dr. Who must have left them behind. This is a clever way to preserve these beautiful old structures.

How good the useless things find an alternative life! Very nice reflection of the another door in the glass! Like the brick texture, the green leaves & white clouds in these shots.

:))) I was in London last year, and I saw more on the streets and functioning than used for those... alternative uses. In any case, I'd like one at home !!... but, I don't know where to install it... ;-)

I would hope that they would be put to good use somehow. Such an iconic image! I think that they are wonderful! Maybe a small lending library. Take a book, leave a book.

Superman hasn't had a place to change in the U.S. in years. We should import a few.

I think it would be a perfect addition to the garden.

We have them,too, in our little community and they are just for public phones! And....I'd love them to stay as such and, moreover, be well taken care of to prevent them looking like in your shot, Ronnie!

Wonderful shots. Currently pay phones could be alternative for mobile phones, although they used yo be star players for our communications.
