Lilly : Did you say you needed a second lock for your bike ??
Ronnie : Not now, Lilly - I have it secured twice over, thankyou.
Lilly : Matching color-set, too . . looks worth stealing, now.

7 Dec 2015 6:17am
@Othersideblue: Hello - not seen you posting in a long while : hope all is well.
7 Dec 2015 6:26am
A security not very safe Ronnie
7 Dec 2015 6:50am
@Nazzareno: Perhaps I should have paid extra for the poison ivy . . (Ronnie)
The creeper surely works better than the rusty locks.
7 Dec 2015 7:15am
Looks like a rather 'green' attitude to bike security.
7 Dec 2015 7:32am
Interesting and nice shots. Well done.
7 Dec 2015 7:54am
@Moridi: Thank you - have a good week. ( L&R )
Another fun little photo shoot with a nice short story
7 Dec 2015 9:29am
@Willem: Thanks, Willem.
Interesting... Great details.
7 Dec 2015 10:11am
très chouette ton montage j'aime beaucoup! tu en a de l'imagination
7 Dec 2015 10:14am
@Libouton Martine: Merci - plus aimable. ( L&R )
Both superb framing !
7 Dec 2015 10:44am
Amazing locks & lovely colors!
I think it is safe!
7 Dec 2015 11:31am
Not very secure....
One can always unscrew the base of the post and carry away the bike and the post !!!
The quality of lock is not strained.
It is twice blessed
It blesses him that removes and the one that drives and hauls it away in a truck....apologies to Shakespeare:))))))))))))))))))))))))))
7 Dec 2015 11:35am
If that vine is poisonous, any thief will get an added surprise!
7 Dec 2015 11:38am
@Julie L. Brown, Photobirder: Yes, that would be good !
Well at least I can see you haven't been taken for a ride Ronnie
7 Dec 2015 11:58am
For good security, I'd go with the locks on the left. The thief will steal the locks for their antiquity and leave the bike behind.
7 Dec 2015 12:22pm
@Michael Skorulski: haha . . I think you are right ! (R)
One of the most beautiful chain !
7 Dec 2015 12:35pm
A good choice to secure your bike Ronnie! Very unsettling for a thief! He will be green with rage! Very funny and imaginative!
7 Dec 2015 2:22pm
Ces deux cadenas tout rouille et ce vélo avec le vert superbe compo
7 Dec 2015 2:55pm
7 Dec 2015 3:58pm
The plant is a great idea. No plant ... problems
7 Dec 2015 5:39pm
@Graciel·la (Vic. Catalonia): haha . . yes, I've seen a few like that over the years . . just a wheel or just the frame ! (Ronnie)
Your bike won't be noticed hidden like this in green ......... no locks needed ;-)
7 Dec 2015 5:57pm
@Ellebelle: Yes . . I should have parked in Spring ! (R)
Ronnie, it looks as if you have not used that bike in a while - it has plants growing through it! It is taking root. Pretty soon it will not be visible at all.
7 Dec 2015 6:38pm
@Ruthiebear: Yes, that will be the ultimate security - assuming I can find the bike ! (Ronnie)
Nothing like being one with nature!! I've never been fond of these "modern" bike racks. Too much of a "presence" for only being able to lock two bikes to it.
7 Dec 2015 7:26pm
@Steven: Yes, we had the more traditional 'rack' arrangement until recently but thet filled up with abandoned bikes because there were always spaces . . cannot win, I guess. (Ronnie)
you give another meaning to 'green' bike, ronnie! ;-)))
7 Dec 2015 8:10pm
@curieuzeneuzemosterdpot: I like to think so !
All right! A good dialogue and some appropriate images! The bike feels like a good race. Bicycles are for the summer. They want freedom! . Let it free of vegetation and run ... Best regards friend's!
7 Dec 2015 10:08pm
:)) It really looks like multiple green locks, really beautifully matching. Interesting thought this of yours: with more security... more worth stealing... Something to think about...
8 Dec 2015 12:21am
@Josep: Yes . . I said that for fun but it took on a kinda sense . . ( from Lilly )
Mark Twain tells us "There is no security in life, only opportunity." Your bike looks like an "opportunity" waiting to happen.
8 Dec 2015 12:22am
@B. Thomas: I need to install an alarm ! (R)
It could be a complicated theft, getting tangled up in those vines. Wonderful images. I love those old locks!
8 Dec 2015 2:36am
I love the locks. They are like little works of art.
8 Dec 2015 2:37am
@Michael Rawluk: Thank you, Michael. ( from Lilly )
But Ronnie, I have to guess that you have lost your keys if you have left your bike there long enough to let that plant grow up around it. So perhaps you should get a hacksaw and free the bike for riding, then you could use Lily's locks to secure it at another site.
8 Dec 2015 3:27am
@Harry: Yes, must admit the 'vine lock' is in use at only that one location ! (Ronnie)
If a good bicycle is forced to park somewhere, should be involved in the kilo chains and locks, that it should be locked theft.
8 Dec 2015 7:43am
@Jypyä Pop: Yes . . the times we live in . .
De très beaux cadenas rouillés, dommage que les chaînes de sécurité aient pris le dessus.
It has been a long time since the bike is stored there, the nasturtiums are soon going to put an orange color !
8 Dec 2015 7:59am
@ceteceva: Oui . . Je doute que je vais monter avant qu'ils ne fleurissent! / Yes . . I doubt I shall ride it before they bloom ! (Ronnie)
Superbes vestiges de cadenas, je ne pense pas qu'ils feront leur travail de sécurité sur ce beau vélo moderne!
8 Dec 2015 8:10am
Dont bring it to Shanghai, else no number of locks can prevent it from getting stolen.. such a beauty this bike is :)
8 Dec 2015 8:19am
@Nitin: I doubt I could ride it to Shanghai without it being stolen long before I got there . . but thanks for the advice ! (Ronnie)
On n'est jamais assez prudent
8 Dec 2015 9:00am
@jpla: Un bon conseil pour la vie! (R)
Looks like your mountain bike returned with half the trail hanging onto it!
8 Dec 2015 9:47am
Wonderful images in the excellent framing.
8 Dec 2015 2:49pm
J'aime les deux photos! bravo!
8 Dec 2015 2:51pm
oh superbe ce vert et ce cadenas en coeur
8 Dec 2015 2:52pm
Very effective Ronnie against the thieves Greens who will not want to damage the green padlock ! Excellents photos and story :)
8 Dec 2015 4:48pm
@Kiki: Thank you, Kikli - hope the weeks is going well for you. (Ronnie)
All sorts of locks in use here. Can't be too secure these days.
8 Dec 2015 6:42pm
Nicely camouflaged Ronnie, obviously the Special Forces training coming into play...
8 Dec 2015 9:02pm
@Daryl Johnson: Indeed . . the only risk is not being able to find my bike if it comes to rapid deployment. (Cpl. Ronnie)
Great find. Really green message, the bike and the plant. Excellent.
8 Dec 2015 10:29pm
As long as those bolts remain fixed, all will be good!
9 Dec 2015 12:04am
@: Helen :: Now, I'm really worried . . (R)
Beautiful image, well seen, nice match. excellent.
9 Dec 2015 2:25am
@Lena: Thank you, Lena. (L&R)

9 Dec 2015 8:27am
@Monik: Il espère !

9 Dec 2015 11:02am
Another fun little photo shoot with a nice short story.
9 Dec 2015 3:58pm
The Camoflage (sic) is excellent,Ronnie! I never would have guessed there was a vine there!
9 Dec 2015 5:27pm
Lock stock and bike. Hope thats not bindweed.
10 Dec 2015 8:23am
@Brockaly: Oh, yes, that could be another thing for me to worry about . . thanks. (Ronnie)
I would steal the padlocks, they are worth more than the bike as antiquities ... Excellent presentation !!!
10 Dec 2015 5:33pm
@Baldwin VW: You could well be right there ! (R)
Two pictures that work well together. Leave it to Ronnie to secure things doubly.
11 Dec 2015 3:52pm
Oh Ronnie - I know exactly how this feels. My bike has cobwebs holding it together. Need to really dust it for this summer.
11 Dec 2015 6:41pm
@kiwisa: Yes, maybe I shall wait for Spring . . that'll be March for me here ! (Ronnie)
I don't think that Lilly's lock will help lock your bike Ronnie.
11 Dec 2015 9:55pm
@Irene: I may be beyond help, Irene . . have a safe weekend. (Ronnie)
Another of your many gems! I don't get on very much, but I do steal a peek whenever possible.
Thank you soooooo much for your endorsement today; I edited my text to feature it.
Have a great weekend!
12 Dec 2015 1:45pm
@Judy aka L@dybug: Thank you, Judy, for your Comment and kindness. (Ronnie)
Le massif de capucine veut assurer la sécurité de ce vélo ;)
13 Dec 2015 8:39am
@Mickaël D: Oui ! Merci - et bienvenue à OurTwoSense. ( L&R )
(Ronnie)
Great details !
have a beautiful weekend
13 Dec 2015 10:49am
@fereshteh.: Thank you - you, too. (L&R)
Superb one, as always Ronnie.
13 Dec 2015 11:37am
Unfortunately, we need locks. Great color coordination in Ronnie's. Attractive old locks in Lily's.
13 Dec 2015 11:44am
Interesting, good pictures :-)
13 Dec 2015 6:14pm
A green security system. Looks more powerful. And lovely conversation as always, Ronnie
The rusty old double locks are an attraction. Great. :)
13 Dec 2015 9:24pm
Very esthetic ! Annierita
20 Dec 2015 8:16am
The padlock in heart is also worth seeing
27 Dec 2015 12:53pm
