Lilly : Do you have any sweet porcelain like this, Ronnie ?
Ronnie : Oh, yes . . reflecting my love of cats.
Lilly : That looks like cruelty to birds to me . .

Happy new weeks my good friends Lilly and Ronnie.
18 Jul 2016 7:10am
@Oiva: Thank you ! ( L&R )
LOL !!! Yours is one of the greatest porcelains !
18 Jul 2016 7:52am
Très bien fait!! j'aime!
18 Jul 2016 8:01am
Very funny !!
18 Jul 2016 8:53am
I prefer Lilly's bird to your cat, Ronnie.
18 Jul 2016 9:22am
@Lai Chan See: Smiles . . the way it goes . . (Ronnie)
Lilly has the sweet bird but Ronnie has the cat-astrophe!
18 Jul 2016 10:10am
@Stephen: Yes !! ( from Lilly )
indeed very cruel but for the cat, if they are in real scale both.
In that case the bird is 10 time bigger!!!!
18 Jul 2016 10:42am
ha ha ha !! The cat looks scared of that bird !!
And I categorically state that the bird will fly away very soon !!!
18 Jul 2016 11:14am
Super! The cat looks afraid :-))
18 Jul 2016 11:21am
@Aly: Yes, he does look concerned ! ( from Lilly )
Beautiful colors and detail captured in these porcelain figurines!! Sometimes the feline is needed to thin out the birds who eat too much at the bird feeder. :-)
18 Jul 2016 11:44am
Kitty is looking at that monster-sized bird and thinking the food in his dish looks just fine, thank-you very much!
18 Jul 2016 12:57pm
I suspect things will be OK
By the looks of it
That cat has feet of clay
18 Jul 2016 1:51pm
@grouser: I guess we are stuck with that . . (Ronnie)
Maybe it is a Texas mockingbird, our state bird. They will taunt a cat, and even fly down and peck it on the head, so, Lilly... it could be cruelty to the cat.
18 Jul 2016 4:49pm
@B. Thomas: Big smiles - you could be right, Barbara! ( from Lilly )
Lilly, yours is such a sweet porcelain. Ronnie, yours seems to be politically incorrect - cruelty to animals is definitely not "in".
18 Jul 2016 5:19pm
@Ruthiebear: But a cat is an animal, too . . purrrr (Ronnie)
Is that a bowl of birdseed next to the cat? I feed the birds that visit our backyard. Sometimes, I wonder if all I'm doing is fattening them up for the neighbor's cat that loves to hunt back there when Portia is in the house.
18 Jul 2016 5:25pm
@Steve Rice: Ah, the circles of Life . .
Instinct can never be unlearned and cats will always be cats :-)
So sorry, Lilly ........
18 Jul 2016 7:24pm
instead of cat-and-mouse-, this is a cat-and-bird game? :-))
18 Jul 2016 8:11pm
Very well done, fun result.
18 Jul 2016 9:14pm
Both of these are lovely little pieces of porcelain. Ronnie's seems quite unique. The cat looks almost afraid of the bird!
19 Jul 2016 12:08am
@Elaine Hancock: Thanks. Yes, the cat does look apprehensive. (R)
We keep the cats out of our back yard and the birds enjoy the freedom.
19 Jul 2016 12:20am
I agree with elaine, The cat seems a bit cautious but I am a Total Cat Person so Go Cat Go!!!
19 Jul 2016 2:07am

@Evelyne Dubos: Thankyou - yes, they would look good on the same shelf . . (Ronnie)
I love birds, I love cats (and dogs...), so can I suggest to Lilly that she could feed cats very hardly (not with fish, of course), so cats should'nt be hungry for birds...
Aaaah, Nobel Price of Good ideas for me and Lilly & Ronnie happy !!!
21 Jul 2016 8:30am
@Dany Hèm-Kervran: Ah, how I wish all of Life was as easy as that . . (Ronnie)
Cruelty to animals and from them always seem more natural than ours. And in porcelain, even better ;)
21 Jul 2016 12:03pm
@k@: Yes, good thinking.

@Goddess: Ah, yes, I know that coexistence can be achieved ! (Ronnie)
Hihihi... Mais je crois que ce chat-là va se casser les dents!
