Lilly : Handy to be able to nip into McDonald's for a quick meal, sometimes, you think ?
Ronnie : Place I went was way too quick . . I made a grab for something scooting by on a track and it went airborne and everywhere.
Lilly : Oh, yes, conveyor sushi much too fast food for you, Ronnie !!

Jypyä Pop from Turku, Finland

Hamburger and French are familiar with the basic food. I have not tried the sushi.

6 Feb 2017 6:13am

omid from mashhad, Iran

=))

6 Feb 2017 8:25am

@omid: whooosh . .

Hiro from Kyoto, Japan

Yeah, I need training to eat sushi !

6 Feb 2017 9:56am

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

It is difficult to eat something in a restaurant to eat sushi. I always get hungry. I have no possibility to see, choose, see and eat. If I wait for the second round, there is almost nothing left of what I saw! Today a dialogue that transports me to my personal experience. I admire your vital intelligence for all these sequences full of humor but real as life itself ... Hugs L & R!

6 Feb 2017 10:26am

@Adela Fonts: Thankyou for the kindness of those words - real life is never far from the crazy moments of OurTwoSemse ! Have a good week, Adela. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )

Marjolein from Westvoorne, Netherlands

Never heard of a 'quick tire sushi`
But very occasionally `the Mac` ..... is also nice :-)

6 Feb 2017 11:33am

Frances from Boston, United States

Whatever next at McDonalds Ronnie, Sushi Burgers?

6 Feb 2017 11:37am

@Frances: What a thought !

Mickaël D from CHERBOURG, France

Dans un monde où il faut aller toujours plus vite , je préfère prendre mon temps pour manger :)

6 Feb 2017 11:56am

Willem from Noord-Scharwoude, Netherlands

I like sushi and it is healthier than McDonald's and you can stop the conveyor if you ask !!
Nice presentation as always.

6 Feb 2017 12:03pm

@Willem: Ronnie needs to read up on the rules. Willem! ( from Lilly )

Steven from Chicagoland, United States

And here I thought that was George Jetson flying by!! Great capture of the dish in motion!

6 Feb 2017 12:49pm

@Steven: haha . . Ronnie would have eaten George if he coulda caught him! ( From Lilly )

Graciel·la (Vic. Catalonia) from CAT. New European State, Poland

This Sushi is as an UFO.

(Slow food, Infinitely more recommended.)

6 Feb 2017 3:16pm

franz from Baden, Austria

I like both images for their stylistic qualities, if not for their culinary ones ...
Though I must say I'm not surprised at the advance of the slow food movement!

6 Feb 2017 3:21pm

Elaine Hancock from Rockville, United States

I love the movement you captured with the food flying by! Both images make a wonderful statement about fast food! I went to a conveyor belt sushi place once. It made me dizzy!

6 Feb 2017 4:12pm

@Elaine Hancock: Yes, that constant monument is a bit distracting, I find. ( from Lilly )

B. Thomas from Arlington, Texas, United States

Ronnie, in the place you went perhaps you should not grab for anything that is "scooting by". The fast food there might still be alive.

6 Feb 2017 4:24pm

Aly from Annen, Netherlands

Yess Like this 1time of the year :-)
Very nice Fotography !

6 Feb 2017 4:43pm

Dany Kervran from Morillon, France

French, Italian, Indonesian cooking are too good and attractive to go in a MacDo...
Nevertheless, I went there "last century", when my son was young :-)

6 Feb 2017 4:49pm

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

I would take Ronnie's speedy food over Lilly's fast food any day. Sushi is delicious and healthy. Fast food is neither.

6 Feb 2017 6:11pm

@Steve Rice: I know that is true, but . . ( from Lilly )

Ruthiebear from Titusville, NJ, United States

ALas, Ronnie, I relate only too well with your experience. Food flying past and ending up a mess. Never actually making it into my mouth. I guess I am just too slow for fast food anymore. (Sigh).

6 Feb 2017 6:12pm

Jean-Luc.M from Nancy et ailleurs, France

if possible, neither one nor the other !
Well done.

6 Feb 2017 6:14pm

6 Feb 2017 7:28pm

@k@: Well, I think he caught it! ( from Lilly )

Francisco Romero from Leon, Spain

The term fast food doesn't honor the red dish. It should be called lightening food or something like that.

6 Feb 2017 7:39pm

Rick from Toronto, Canada

Kill yourself slowly by eating fast food, or quicken your reflexes and eat healthy ultra-fast food... hmm, the solution appears evident, Ronnie. (great post! ha ha)

6 Feb 2017 7:47pm

Irene from San Francisco, United States

The sushi I had seen floating on boats and they float slow. Good composition.

6 Feb 2017 10:01pm

I love the term "Conveyor Sushi" ;-) Goes nicely with the McDonald's "Hammered-out Hamburger......So many choices, confusion "rains"

6 Feb 2017 10:08pm

Anita from West Nottingham, Pennsylvania, United States

Unfortunately, I'd go hungry at both places!

6 Feb 2017 11:08pm

9 Feb 2017 9:13am

Carol from Leamington, Canada

I have never eaten sushi ... and 'conveyor sushi' sounds really strange! I think I would rather go to a reputable restaurant for a dish like that! And besides, my reflexes aren't fast enough to catch whatever is speeding by.... too frustrating! :)

9 Feb 2017 1:27pm

Kyu from Kyoto, Japan

Yes, the rotating sushi could be supplied to us much faster than ones in Mc. Donald's. It must be a real fast food. Wonderful images.

9 Feb 2017 2:23pm

Mamyni from Argenteau-Visé, Belgium

J'aime pas choisir sur un tapis roulant... on ne se décide jamais assez vite, alors on mange ce qu'on n'aime pas!
