A essayer, il paraît que les dates n'ont plus d'importance!......)

@tataray: . . peut-être, peut-être. .
In Finland, the most popular canned soup is a pea soup. Sometimes the sesame is added before heating to smoked pork and is otherwise very nutritious cold winter day food. For some, it causes air ducts and other nearby sufferings.

@Jypyä Pop: . . choices, choices ! (R)
@jpla: il se peut que vous ayez raison . .
Like the cloud map of the UK and is that a very small can or a very large tomato?.
18 Sep 2017 7:38am
@Brockaly: I had not noticed the 'cloud map' - well spotted ! (Ronnie)
You shouldn't worry about the past !
It's no use crying over eaten tomatoes.
18 Sep 2017 9:32am
Soup was definitely lost (2012) in a cabinet ;-0
I know that phenomenon :-)
18 Sep 2017 10:43am
@Marjolein: Amazing how it can happen ! (Ronnie)
Beware the can doesn't blow up in your cupboard Ronnie.
18 Sep 2017 10:47am
@: Helen :: I wear a padded vest and eye protection when opening the larder, Helen . . (Ronnie)

Come on Lily relax .Ronnie has this habit of collecting empty cans. Surely you know that !! This can is one of them !!! that's His Story :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
18 Sep 2017 11:12am
A cute play on words in this unique composition!! Those tomatoes may go through the intestines very fast!
18 Sep 2017 11:20am
Another, as Always, a fine photo presentation en short story.
18 Sep 2017 11:23am
The add for Campbell's soup is especially good.
18 Sep 2017 11:27am
Ronnie, you need to shift your desire to collect items of value, to things that do not have an expiration date. In 50 years, I do not think anyone will be wanting to buy an old can of soup. ANd please tell me you are not planning on eating it!!!
18 Sep 2017 12:31pm
Ronnie must have a cast iron stomach! Lilly has to watch out for him.
18 Sep 2017 3:10pm
2012 ! the can is collector's also ! :)) It is the high season of tomatoes, let us prefer the fresh soup !
18 Sep 2017 3:23pm
@Kiki: I think Ronnie's tomato soup will be high enough in itself, Kiki! ( from Lilly )
Oh, those dates are just a guide. As long as the cans aren't leaking or bulging ominously, eat up!
When I was in Japan, a confectioner used milk a few days past its expiration date to make cream puffs. What a scandal that was. People boycotted them, etc. The first chance I got I tried the product. It was delicious.
18 Sep 2017 4:16pm
@Steve Rice: I do believe we live in an over-cautious world when it comes to these use-by dates . . commercial interest comes into it, I'm sure. (Ronnie)
See cans in your photo reminds me of Andy Warhol ...! inevitable!
Indeed the problem of expired cans is a real problem for our health! Always be attentive ...
I love it!
18 Sep 2017 5:22pm
Excellent and funny as always! Campbell tomato soup is delicious!
18 Sep 2017 8:52pm
@Mireille T.: As you can tell by the expiry date, it is a long time ago I last tasted canned soup ! (Ronnie)
@fateme@@: Yes, there is something 'mechanical' about it. Thank you. (R)
It will never equal homemade soup.
18 Sep 2017 10:50pm
I used to love Campbell's Tomato Soup. My Mom would use milk instead of using water. Yummy.
2012 definitely expired ! Watch it Ronnie.
19 Sep 2017 12:00am
@Irene: Strange how our memories get stirred . . ( from Lilly )
I think the dates on the Campbells cans are is,ply commemorative dates for the factory worker's Relatives...like "dear old Uncle Sid died on..." ;-)
19 Sep 2017 12:29am
@Denny Jump: " . . consuming out-dated soup" . . (R)
I love that old poster! It is beautiful! I used to find expired cans that old in my parent's pantry. It really scared me to think that they were probably eating items that old.
19 Sep 2017 1:36am
Très bien fait !! Attention de ne pas être intoxiqué!!!
19 Sep 2017 9:25am

19 Sep 2017 6:11pm
Gare au botulisme Ronnie ! Je préfère la soupe aux légumes frais :)
19 Sep 2017 7:58pm
It can never really 'expire' Ronnie, but simply evolve. Don't you worry.
19 Sep 2017 8:52pm
It's been awhile since I have been on Am3 so am exploring a lot. Two Sense was the first i went to---Just love it! Campbell's Soup, tomato, brings fond memories of a favorite childhood lunch with soup and toasted cheese sandwiches. And pickles. Usually on Fridays. And this post in particular brings to mind the confusion besetting most of us regarding that pesky date stamp on our food!~
20 Sep 2017 12:01am
@karla: Yes, that was a long break and so good to see you back ! (Ronnie)
your soup is practically new compared to many I've seen, though I would not be temptedd to have it for lunch.
20 Sep 2017 12:47am
@Harry: Yes, I can imagine the stuff you might discover !! (Ronnie)
Une conserve dont la date est dépassée, elle a surement perdu un peu de goût mais est surement encore consommable :p
20 Sep 2017 10:52am
Superb composition but ...do you collect Tomato Soup ?
20 Sep 2017 11:11am
@Mhelene: Not so much collecting . . more forgetting I have it ! (Ronnie)
Keep the picture Ronnie, it might be worth a small fortune in twenty years time :-)
Oh, it's not a Warhol??
20 Sep 2017 7:01pm
Attention la sauce tomate n'est pas comme le vin: elle ne se bonifie pas en vieillissant!
Attention tomato sauce is not like wine: it does not improve on aging!
20 Sep 2017 9:25pm
