(Ronnie)
4 Jun 2018 7:52am

4 Jun 2018 10:03am
Different styles, but none is easy. (It's obvious that a shoe knows how to draw better than me)
In one thing Lilly is right: Paint stains are difficult. A smock it's fine.
4 Jun 2018 10:21am
I love the R...palette knife ? I prefer this to the sketch here..
I am sure there will be real Farm-Fresh - Food here ine left Inn( Looks like a Victoraian Era Inn). Aw!! I can get the smaell of freshly made bread ibn the fire oven and fresh butter and milk..

4 Jun 2018 11:18am
Contrasting styles with greater appeal toward Ronnie's! :-)
4 Jun 2018 12:03pm
Those are both lovely pieces of artwork. I wonder if Arlo has a fire burning nearby to help Ronnie’s oil paints dry faster.
4 Jun 2018 12:42pm
@Elaine Hancock: 'Arlo' ! That's who Devi made me think of . . now, where did I last see Arlo . .
Oh, I'm dreaming now to see a picture of Ronnie in full creative work and... lilly's smile ;)
4 Jun 2018 3:09pm

Tout beau tableau.
4 Jun 2018 3:42pm
There is no possible comparison. A work done with a pen and a work done with spatula and oil paintings. I prefer your work. It is more attractive to me. I love paintings of any style. Best regards!

4 Jun 2018 9:45pm

both are nice.
Oil painting is quite appealing.
5 Jun 2018 12:26am
@Irene: Thank you, Irene.
It appears that Lily prefers a sharp pencil, while Ronnie favors a wide trowel. But I bet you both would look good in smocks.
5 Jun 2018 1:57am

Love that painting and the way you captured it!
6 Jun 2018 2:38pm
When he says he works in oil, Lilly takes for granted that he get it all over himself.
6 Jun 2018 2:39pm
@Don: Yes . . I get through so many smocks ! (Ronnie)

A dual layout is particular and luxurious,
Especially paint and oil paint on my left hand remind me of Rembrandt's work,
BRAVO to you dear LILLY.
6 Jun 2018 8:42pm
Ronnie, as a retired high school art teacher, I'll give you an A+ on your painting. Very Nice. I'm wondering about the dimensions. Long ago? Is it time to update your portfolio?
7 Jun 2018 2:14am
@B. Thomas: Ah, the paints have all dried up along with the drive to go out use them . . I blame it on photography ! (Ronnie)
I understand exactly! Photography is what did it for me and I never paint anymore.
