Lol Ronnie - this one is really personally revealing! I know you use anything that's available at the time to take your various shots, and this is priceless! As I've said before, would love to see exactly what you have got stored away at your home, but I'm not sure if I'm strong enough! And the banter - "...if you upgrade" - Bwahahahaa! :) Have a delightful week!

@dobbino: I must have enough cameras here to open a museum ! (Ronnie)
It is not any digi toy. Photographer must know what is he doing with it. Great to see something like this. My first camera was Kodak Brownie box-camera. I was very broud of it. I was then about ten years old and I think it is very artistic.

Yes, good old stuff. From "tymes" with 36 analig pictures after a photo safari as result and there mostly good ones. Not like today with more than 300 digital captures there mostly crap :)
11 Feb 2019 7:12am
@Ralf Kesper: Yes, sadly, I agree with your summary there . . (Ronnie)
@Marjolein: Patent is 1910 !
That is endless waiting for Lilly I think so !!!!
11 Feb 2019 8:12am
I also remember the rollers to insert in the dark for the one on the right!
11 Feb 2019 8:46am
. Je ne l'ai pas acheté neuf! (Ronnie)
Ah, the patent has expired and you can manufacture and sell it !!
11 Feb 2019 9:07am
@Hiro: . . and there would likely be a demand ! (Ronnie)
@ceteceva: Yes !

Haha ... in the old days everything was much better!!! Except for photography ;-)
11 Feb 2019 10:50am
A beautiful folding camera, and Kodak brought back ektachrome, recently. ;)
11 Feb 2019 11:49am
Gosh, the camera dates back to my grandfather's days. And I remember the Kodak cassette. Grouser's comment gave me a good chuckle. :-)
11 Feb 2019 12:45pm
Wow! That old camera is truly amazing! I would not imagine that there are very many of them still around.
11 Feb 2019 1:43pm

Nice memories for me. You had to settle everything yourself.
11 Feb 2019 5:17pm
It seems as soon as you buy it, it's out of date these days...

11 Feb 2019 10:10pm
@B. Thomas: Yes, I've often wondered about that . . (R)
Film? I vaguely remember using it. The digital revolution is the best thing that ever happened to my photography.
12 Feb 2019 12:44am
@Steve Rice: Yes . . no doubt about it.
If I'm not mistaken, Lily has a reel of Super 8 film. Perhaps she could produce a movie of how to use an antique like yours, Ronnie, then she could post it on YouTube - oops film to online might be a challenge!
12 Feb 2019 1:11am
@Harry: Yes, how the world has changed . .
@Irene: Yes ? It really is pocket-size when folded. (R)

@Devi: Ah, I already answer to that ! (Ancient Ronnie)
I watched a very funny videoclip recently, teenagers trying to work out a dial up phone. Can't even imagine what they would make of these:).

@Wayra: I try to catch up ! (Ronnie)
That old camera has so much quirky character...just like Ronnie...Somehow, the film cassette doesn't look like him at all...Deep down, I think Lilly was 'jus' saying'...I am sure she was smiling on the inside...
12 Feb 2019 10:27am
Ronnie loves looking down in the tiny glass focusing lens on the old folding camera. Why upgrade?
12 Feb 2019 6:03pm
After some decades, my daughter is having fun with my old Polaroid 600 again :)
13 Feb 2019 4:35am
@Vaido: Ah, Polaroid . . an expensive addiction, I seem to remember.
The old things are worth a lot of money now, Ronnie. ;)
13 Feb 2019 2:35pm

This actually explains a lot about your AM3 activity.
14 Feb 2019 1:38pm
@Ruthiebear: Ah, we are all so transparent ! (Ronaldo)
What made the camera's old camera on the left and the cassette footage look like,
The usual conversation between the two imaginary characters is also relevant,
As always, you've created a solid dual image of ordinary subjects dear friend,
BRAVO and many thanks to you.
15 Feb 2019 3:06pm
@mohammad: Thank you so much. ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
