Difficile de promener un escargot en laisse.
3 Jun 2019 9:00am
@Captain Guildive Ajoupa: Oui, bon point ! (R)
The snail has the advantage, of course, in that you don't have to follow it round with a bunch of poo bags and it is happy with the occasional leaf for dinner
3 Jun 2019 9:12am
@grouser: A lot to recommend in snails . . (Ronnie)
What I love about snails is that you don't have to build a kennel for them..
They have ...they carry ..their own accommodation !!! They can live any where,,,,even in apartments. No rules.
We don't have to pay for signboards like " Dogs Beware."
And....the best thing is
ha ha ha they don't BARK :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Actually Ronnie...you have fiven me food for thought :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
A real CREATIVE IMAGE>>>SETTING FIRE TO MY GREY CELLS !!!

3 Jun 2019 11:17am
@Hiro: You may just be right there ! (Ronnie)
Ha ha....With the snail you will have less trouble keeping them in check than the puppy-dogs
3 Jun 2019 11:33am
What adorable puppies so anxious to be released!! At least the snails won't run away as fast. :-)
3 Jun 2019 11:46am
pets have their positives and negatives...just like kids!
3 Jun 2019 12:16pm
@Daniel: True !
You have different modes of transport, these dogs do not have much freedom of movement in the car.
3 Jun 2019 1:42pm
I go along with you, Ronnie!! Snails don't bark ... ;-)
3 Jun 2019 2:33pm
It’s not so extreme to prefer snails...!
3 Jun 2019 3:54pm
Charmants ces chiots et l'escargot et sa belle coquille sur le do superbe
3 Jun 2019 3:55pm
@Nicou: Merci - Bonne semaine ! ( Lilly and Ronnie )
True! Snails give less problems than dogs. But they are also less expressive. In definite ... a dog makes a lot of company despite everything. Once again your imagination makes me smile!Best regards...

@Adela Fonts: Thank you - have a good week ! ( from Lilly and Ronnie )
Dogs can be a pain but that warm greeting from them can't be beat. You know, that sweet wet nose. Do snails have a nose?
3 Jun 2019 5:21pm
@Steve Rice: Snails' noses are cold and sticky . . soon get used to it ! (Ronnie)
oh les pauvres me font pitié
3 Jun 2019 6:15pm
@Existence Artistique: Je suis assuré qu'ils étaient dans des transports attentionnés . . (Ronnie)
Don't worry Ronnie - I also prefer animals crunchy on the outside rather than the inside.
3 Jun 2019 8:21pm

3 Jun 2019 9:27pm
well, if a snail follows you home, it leaves a trail back.
4 Jun 2019 3:13am
@Harry: Good thinking !
The puppy's looks not happy in the bench.
The snake has freedom with his own house.
Great combination between the two.

Pet preferences are very personal. Those adorable puppies will bring so much joy and love to a person's life. Yes, they have responsibilities that come with them. The snail will be less work, and be easier to chase. Not very cuddly though. I guess I prefer cuddly. But As long as you are happy with your snail, Ronnie, that is all that matters.
4 Jun 2019 1:17pm
@Ruthiebear: Indeed . . happy is all that matters. (R)
I prefer all the animals included snakes
4 Jun 2019 2:15pm
@Claudiel: Snakes . . I might draw a line there ! (Ronnie)
snips, snails, and puppy dog tails
I think I prefer the fur vs. the slime
but to each their own :)
4 Jun 2019 2:42pm
Je n'ai pas de préférence... j'aime les deux !:)
4 Jun 2019 7:56pm
@yo: Yay ! (Ronnie)
Those puppies are too cute! I suppose I could get used to a snail!
4 Jun 2019 8:26pm
But will your snail sit up and beg? I love dogs, but love cats even more. Getting a Somali kitten "brother" for Rocky tomorrow night, and I'm so excited!! He's been without Nikon for a year now. Photos soon!
4 Jun 2019 11:44pm
@B. Thomas: Ah, cats . . now you are talking ! (Catman Ronnie)
Dogs are good friends, Ronnie.
5 Jun 2019 6:25am
C'est plus facile de courir derrière un escargot pour le rattraper :) Bonne fin de journée.
5 Jun 2019 10:52am

Everyone has their own choice of friends!
These little dogs are cute!
8 Jun 2019 6:26am
@mo.langel: Thank you - happy weekend. (L&R)
Oh I see the similarity. But a puppy must be free snails too, though it takes a while for them to see that they are though slimey, not all that happy.
I know, I'm such a poet, it's scary.
